Save yourself and buy elsewhere. I have been a Lowe’s customer for years and rarely shop anywhere else but that has now ended. Purchased fencing with install by Lowe’s and I have now had to fight for 3+ months on a warranty claim from their “installation” department with no resolution yet. The install was not completed correctly which has caused problems to the fence. The installation errors have been confirmed by the manufacturer of the product that was installed. Absolutely absurd from such a large corporation.Update from post warranty repairs- picture shows how the gates don’t shut…don’t hire any “pro” from Lowe’s.

Just left my favorite store to pick and exchange an order. When we arrived at returns all 4 employees had their backs turned not paying attention to customers arriving. The teenage boy that was called over from the paint center was not thrillled about the paint exchange or bringing me 3 gallons for my ceiling paint. Please do better guys so you don't lose my business. I spend a lot of money there and I love your store.

I've always had a good experience at Lowes. The staff are friendly and helpful. Some of them are really knowledgeable, and others need to study their merchandise a little more. However, I'm not disappointed in the store or staff. The merchandise is excellent quality as well.

We signed a contract with Lowe’s at Salem VA to replace our deck because we thought Lowe’s was a reputable national company that would stand behind their service and product, but that was not the case. We WILL NOT use Salem Lowe’s service again for any future projects.1. During installation, the installer would only respond if we found something built incorrectly. Otherwise, our inquiries were ignored.2. There was about $3000 of unused material left after the installation was completed, and Lowe’s told us that we couldn’t return it. The majority were decking boards which represented 29.4% of the total decking boards. It means Lowe’s sold us one additional decking board for every two decking boards used on the deck. After extensive communication, the deck sales person from Salem Lowe’s came to inspect/count the unused materials. We thought Lowe’s might finally show some professional sincerity to help this situation, but instead, he totally dropped communication with us.3. The project is still not closed 8 months after the full payment of the project. Lowe’s is to replace a post with a hole. After many calls and text messages, as of this time, we still have no date when they will come to fix it.4. We called Lowe’s 800 customer service many times. We also came across some customer reviews online, It seems it is the local Lowe’s store’s choice if we can return the $3000 unused materials. No one at Lowe’s cares to help with the issue.

Lowe's is a great place to shop for home improvement items. Large selections and lots of great deals. There are only a couple of drawbacks, there seems to only be a handful of employees to help you choose the correct purchase you need for a specific job. And the fact that you may be there quite a while. It's huge so you should know exactly what you need before entering or plan on doing a whole lot of walking.

This is the first place I go for all home improvement, hardware, appliances, gardening and plants. I have bought many tools, rugs, blinds, ceiling lights, fans. Doors and appliances. I've never regretted or had a problem with any of my purchases.

So frustrated with this store. 9:42 AM . I go into the outdoor department ask where pressure washers are. In Power tools. Not in Power tools. Ask another after searching. It’s in the paint department. Once again I walk by myself to paint. Not in paint department. Walk down a mirror aisle. I see an employee trying to find a mirror. Being kind I don’t interrupt. After about a minute and after the second time he looked at me I left . I went down to the lumber area. The man at the register told me it was indoors in the garden center. Near the lawn mowers. I wanted a Green Works 3000 on sale till July 7. But it was not in the slot. The 3000 is on the very top. I walk over to customer service. She announces twice that help is needed on Aisle 27. After 10 minutes I settled on the 2300 Green Works. The aisle number is not listed on line.

Just stopped to look for flowers. I am extremely impressed by the quantity and quality of the selection. I wanted one of everything! They also have a large selection of vegetables as well. If you're in need, stop by here!

I love shopping at all the Lowes and this one is no exception. My only issue is that it is sometimes hard to find assistance besides the service desk. Once you do have someone they are extremely helpful.

I went into the store with the intent to buy a GE profile waser/dryer set ,, absolutely no one at the sales desk , no one asked if they could help me , I found the sales person but he was on the phone at the front door as I was walking out !!! Service certainly has gone away !!!

Very friendly staff. Fast service and very many choices for all home improvement needs. You can make keys there. They have public restrooms. Pretty much any tool you need they have and if not they can look up where to get it or order it. Self checkouts and cashiers available..overall great place .

My husband and I have recently been replacing blinds throughout the house and decided we'd use Lowe's, since they offer a military discount. We ordered blinds that we couldn't find the correct size for in store with a sales associate, who was very helpful at the time and willing to help. He ensured us that the only difference between what we were ordering and what we picked up in store was instead of being room darkening, the ones ordered were blackout, but would look exactly the same as the faux wood ones we had picked out for the other windows. The issue, however, was that the wrong blinds were somehow ordered and when we went to return them, they blamed us for the mistake. After going back and forth for a while, they finally issued a return. Afterwards they refused to help us reorder the correct blinds and told us to order from Allen + Roth ourselves. My husband told them we would no longer be using Lowe's for our home projects, to which they responded, "That's fine". Terrible, incompetent, and lazy customer service.

Heaven forbid there be any misunderstanding that you have through the app, because you will never be able to use the app again, because obviously they don't know what it means to forgive, this is the store not corporate.I was using a church debit card that I was given permission to use, issued in someone else's name. And there were some charges that weren't identified by the issued card user, long story short deemed fraudulent then, the Pastor went to the bank and cleared things up making sure all charges were honored.Now my PERSONAL credit card or emails connected can no longer be used, I loved the convenience of the app to shop at your store, no fraud has continued, yet because there was a SINGULAR problem that has been resolved, never again, apparently, will I be able to have the convenience of the app, even though I can go in the store whenever and use my same credit card.This world loves to claim great compassion...but not seen here at my local Lowe's. This isn't even a profit based job that I am doing, I have received zero compensation.I will continue shopping there only because it's quarter mile away from the church project, which I spend hundreds of dollars a week on it's about the folks that I interact with almost daily.I'm thankful for all the employees you have nothing to do with this.

It's a Lowe's. How do you give it a 5 star rating? Well, when they ask you if you want help without having to go on the prowl it helps. When they check you out promptly with a joyful attitude, it helps. And the next time you decide you need some of their product, you don't want to go in for that same good experience you order online and do the curbside pick up instead. The guy comes out and packs the goods neatly into the car. Then he says thank you like he just had dinner at your house. Why then, you would have to be a stingy hearted no-good for nothing to not give full credit. Not my style so they get 5 stars like they earned it.

Started in May to design a bar area and fireplace cabinets. Were told they were so backed up it would take 2 weeks to even start the process. Took at least 5 weeks before we were contacted. During the process lost all the notes with our design and selections. Fast forward 4 months. Design in process but had one major issue. The cabinet dimensions would not leave ample walkway space. Asked for it to be updated so we could order. We were sent an email telling us they are too busy to complete it right now. Too many jobs ahead of us. Told us to deal with Reico who we started with but wanted another quote. Jerk us around for 4 months! Funny thing was we were going to purchase from Lowes. I have always been loyal to Lowes with my rentals and primary residence. No more.

Bought appliances at Lowe's with no delivery fee. Now a month since last purchase they are charging a delivery fee. Save yourself money go to Home Depot where there is no delivery fee!!

Walked around for about ten minutes looking for a specific item. Found it. Was passed by 3 different employees and not a word was said to us once asking if we needed anything or could be helped. Not even a hello. Very unfriendly place to walk into. Even the cashier wasn't too thrilled to see anyone. All in all I believe the cashier was the only person to speak to me and it was just to tell me where to put my card and ask if I wanted a bag. Lol great way to make someone feel like they are wanted in your store. I just moved to Salem but I can assure you I will shop at my old Lowes from now on. Don't wanna inconvenience the staff here with my presence.

The young gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable and able to find the correct insecticide I needed. Very polite walk me to the area and help me locate it, hope you all have more employees like that may a lot easier for me to get in and get out quickly.

So let's start with I used to absolutely hate tool and hardware stores and within the last 2 years of my life and recent job history I have learned to become obsessed with this place!the lady making paint was super helpful! The register lady was amazing! I highly suggest checking this place out. They have anything you need to improve anyrhing around your house ! Or needs !

The delivery people are some pretty sketchy people to try and deal with. Tried to bribe us to by an extra part for our appliance. Then told us to be quiet about it, that it had to be between us and them. I'll go to SE if I want to deal with people like that, not in my own home.

I'm a local contractor in Roanoke VA. I purchased a range from Salem Lowe's and it was delivered damaged!!! The manager at the store passed me onto a third party distribution center and told me I had to deal with them, then they transferred me to another department! Customer satisfaction guaranteed does not exist anymore! Especially at Lowe's! After hours of dealing with Lowe's mistake I was asked by Lowe's management if I could install the damaged stove and I said absolutely not! Then I was offered a 10% discount! With all the delays because management did not do their job! I ended up with a senior citizen woman left alone with no stove for almost two days! Not to mention my companies lost wages for their mistakes! They finally delivered the stove/ range I ordered 2 days later! Lowe's could have afforded to reimburse myself and customer to salvage the relationship but chose to put corporate profit ahead of local consumers who spend insane amounts of money there every year! I will never order anything from Lowe's in the future and will only shop there if it's the last possible place to go!!!! Thanks Lowe's for a very unenjoyable experience once again!!!!! Buyers beware!!!!!!!!?zero stars from me

Ordered 4 products for a bathroom remodel. Two products for the shower were broken, after being delivered almost 2 weeks late, and the toilet had already been installed elsewhere and returned to the store and resold with a used wax ring and parts missing. Poor quality and service.

I received a gas leaf blower for Christmas from my father. He purchased the blower from Lowes in Salem VA. And included the receipt. I took it back to Lowes to exchange it for a battery powered leaf blower. I presented the receipt and asked to exchange it for a different leaf blower. The cashier rang it up and told me the money had been refunded to the card used to purchase it. I told her that it was not my card that was used to purchase it and that it was a gift. She said she could not do anything about it. I spoke with a manager as well who could not offer a solution. Not only do I leave empty handed, but my father now knows that I returned his very thoughtful gift.

Dont even think about trying to warranty exchange Craftsman tools at this Lowes. Even though they are a stocking retail partner and had the exact same tool I was attempting to warranty exchange (1/4 inch ratchet) Hailey in customer service and Manager Lisa would rather argue with me and roll eyes when presented with facts from Craftsman website about full lifetime warranty and no proof of purchase required for 25 minutes as to why they could not complete the exchange instead.
