I'm a long time grower, and snowbird I am currently in Florida and needed a part for my system was unable to find it there. Called Blue Ridge hydroponics. They had it in stock. So I jumped in my truck and drove 1600 miles to come to this shop. These people.Are amazing. Will highly recommend to anyone.

Great local addition to the area. There are 2 main garden/hydroponic shops in town. One is general chain and then there’s Blue Ridge Hydro which is the great local option. There’s a reason I’ve been a customer of Blue Ridge for the last year. They’re always super friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful with questions/recommendations. They also have a great selection of everything you need to grow “tomatoes”. Other place in town smells like a frat house walking in however this place has the respect for customers to keep it clean. I’ve taken my kids along with me on multiple occasions and have never felt uncomfortable about any smells/odors lingering in the air like the other place. Plus they have the friendliest dog waiting inside and looking for a quick pet and hello. I recommend the place without hesitation.

This place rocks! I'm a complete "newbie" to growing (not consumimg). Paul and Jeremy basically took me by the hand and showed me what I needed and helped me SAVE money! They have just about everything in the industry that's worth having. Their knowledge of growing is extensive and top quality. I literally could not have gotten started the RIGHT way without them. The owner is super nice also.

Good people, decent prices on many items but top dollar on plastic plant trays that keep the water 🌊💦 in check without running all over the place. Same trays were $0.59¢ each > $2 cheaper per tray and I bought ten, so I got scammed for $20. Buy your trays at Lowe's or Home Depot.

This is a very nice store with friendly and knowledgeable. employees. Michael helped me find some good soil and I enjoyed talking to him. It was a very nice experience, unlike to going to Lowe's or Home Depot and trying to find some help with plants and materials.

This spot had everything I needed. The guys were very knowledgable and quick with answers to questions I had. As of recent the best service I have received has been inside a grow store. Why can't every retailer care for their customers like this? If you are in the area be sure to stop here and the other grow store too. Different inventory and atmosphere, but both just as awesome and you won't regret it.

If your in the area this is a go to place for everything medical and recreationally. You will not be disappointed, will be a must stop everytime I am I'm the city.

Really great store and local resource for Roanoke, Salem and beyond. They have pretty much everything you need for indoor gardening. They even carry HLG lighting products which is super impressive! This is a one-stop shop for you to get everything you need to get up and running. It's not just soil and nutrients.... you can get everything from an inline fan, to fabric pots, to mycorrhizae, to Boveda packs and pretty much anything else you might be looking for. They have you covered from germination to curing.But the most valuable resource I found here was knowledge. I haven't seen a store worker take so much time with a customer in a long time. Not just knowledgeable, but also kind, patient and supportive. You won't get any attitude here or feel stupid for asking a question. Just super positive vibes all the way around.Let's all shop local and help our our business owners as much as we can. If you're about to order something online, call up Blue Ridge Hydroponics first and see if they have it in stock. They probably do and it's probably the same price as online, so support the local scene and go check them out! You will be glad you did.
