I bring my dog Ben here about every 6 weeks. He gets what I call "The Works". Bath,haircut and nails trimmed and grinded down. I use a girl named Ariana and she does a beautiful job. She's also very loving with Ben and that counts for alot with me. I think the place is a little pricey but for the Ben looks when I pick him up I'm willing to pay for it.

Brought cat in for grooming and Bonnie and staff was amazing! Took great care of kitty, she looked and smelled lol just wonderful when all done. Did ears and trimmed claws also, and that looks amazing too! All and all a great experience and I highly recommend

I've gone here many of times but today on their small business Saturday while I was checking out one of the staff members asked me to move out of their way so customers getting their photos taken with Santa could come through what was in polite about it was that I had a cart full of groceries and items I was buying from the store. It was pretty obvious that she could see I was buying things from them and I was about to pay full price for product they actually had outside on the sidewalk because my cats like it so much but because the staff was so rude and asked me to move out of the way while I'm about to give somebody my debit card to pay for my items I decided to cancel my entire order. Lucky for them the young man running the register was very polite and very honest and apologize that the item of cat food was left out on the sidewalk and was actually full price because of his kindness I was still willing to buy it for full price but after the staff member a woman at that asked me to move my cart to people could get out of this location could clearly see I had a cart full of items from their store as well as the grocery store right near them I was completely caught off guard. She was absolutely rude about it she could have approached me in a better way and I'm sorry their sores extremely small so I made the choice to bring in my cart of groceries I take full notice of that but she did not have to be inappropriately rude to me in front of other bystanders and customers and their staff. I will never ever ever shop at E.M Dodgers again. They should really look into how their staff approaches hectic events such as dog's meeting Santa Claus maybe figure out a better way for them to all come in and go out of the store because I'm sure I'm not the only customer who brought a cart in the location. Shame on that staff member for being so rude

I love coming to EM Dodgers. I moved to this area around 9 months ago and knew I needed to find a store for my new puppy and her needs when I was ready to take one home. I get quality dog food and products here and my 3 month old got her first puppy grooming here on April 8th and she looks so adorable. I’m so happy with the results and I can’t wait to continue taking my puppy here for grooming and all of her needs as she grows.

I had a great experience bringing my 90lb guardian breed dog here. They got her in quickly, were prompt about service, and gushed over how much they loved her when i picked her up. I had them do a bath, grief, and shedding treatment. Shedding season was taking its toll, and I couldn't keep up with it. They got SO much fur off of her and got her really clean too. She's been much happier ever since!

They have a really great staff there. Everything is reasonably priced. I've used the self dog wash which is pretty awesome. They always offer to take my dog food out to my vehicle for me. I also picked up some of their Christmas toys that are 60% off 😁

I’ve brought both of my dogs here to be groomed a few to times and used the self dog wash station. I’m always happy with how they look when we leave and the staff is amazing and friendly. I will definitely continue to bring my fur babies here for their grooming.

Wow the level of attention Greg and his staff paid to me and my beloved was more than I ever could have expected. I couldn't thank the team at EM dodger enough so I'm posting another thank you and pat on the back for an excellent job taking care of me and making sure Toby and I only had to come up one time for the particular task at hand. They reminded me of 2 things that came in very handy that I would have never thought of. Some times it's best to ask the professionals.

This is a fantastic place for all your pet care and growing needs. Marlene does an absolutely amazing job getting our big Berner all trimmed up, good smelling, and spiffy looking and we even got to do a photo-op with Santa and get a holiday gift bag. They have food, treats, medicines, dishes, leashes...everything you could imagine for your pup or cat. The staff is also friendly and helpful.

Needed some supplies and had a number of questions. A very helpful young lady was very quick to help my family and stayed very patient with all of our questions (and my young kiddos who were struggling to be patient).Only complaint is that the prices are a little steep for certain things, but I’m happy to help support the local shops when I can, and the helpfulness of the employees makes the difference worth it to me. I like saving money, but good luck getting all the help I got here from Amazon, it’s just not going to happen.

Cannot say enough nice things about this establishment! I love the people that work there(they are all very kind and helpful), I love the selection (everything from toys to vitamins to treats as well as food), the grooming is fabulous (the young lady that took care of my Louis was kind to my boy and he came back looking wonderful) and the owner is amazing. Greg has helped me with nutrition suggestions as well as suggestions for my power chewers. Everyone there seems to genuinely care about helping you and your pet. Definitely my very favorite store! ❤

I took my 17 y/o dach there Saturday for a spa day. Kaitlin (not sure of spelling) was very professional and did an outstanding job on Sadie. She even called me to say she'd be a couple extra minutes longer bc she was gonna let her air dry instead using a blower bc of her age. I'm gonna put Sadie on a routine schedule. TY

E.M. Dodgers is a fantastic pet store with the most amazing staff members. Gregg is extremely knowledgeable and a true animal lover. I visited his store five years ago to shop for our adopted pup and Greg helped find the perfect food for him, and his store became my go to place from that point on. He has helped me navigate picky eaters and is always willing to add products in the various lines he offers that are not already in store.He hires very friendly, helpful people who are always willing to help customers find what they need. The products carried are high quality and there is a great assortment to choose from.Plus, the store offers full- and self-service grooming! The groomers are also amazing! Bonnie always does a phenomenal job with our little Havanese.Whether shopping for your dog, cat, bearded dragon, or rabbit, E. M. Dodgers is a wonderful place for all your pet needs!

Love that we have this store right here in our small community. The staff is always helpful and friendly. We buy all our dog food here and we love that they have a great rewards program. We've also purchased some treats for our dogs that they have absolutely loved. If you wanna avoid going all the way into town for your pet needs, definitely give them a shot. You won't regret it!

Ive been taking my dogs to Arianna to get their nails trimmed for the longest time and she always does a great job and is super sweet!! You can tell she 100% LOVES what she does :) 10/10 I will always recommend her for grooming services!

I personally can say I will never be going back to em doggers to get my dog groomed I could hear my dog who remind you is a big dog but very gentle and sweet, whining and I heard the lady telling my dog to shut up yes they may have good food n supplies for dogs but the grooming team is unprofessional you do not tell an animal to “shut up” specially when your job is to comfort and groom the dog that’s all specially when I’m paying over a hundred dollars.

Great for self grooming or serviced grooming! Never had a problem getting scheduled in, dogs smell great, nail and cut are exactly what I wanted even though I wasn't sure what to ask for. Always polite and have great, helpful advice for both our dogs and cat. Amazed at how moderately priced they are and the specials and deals for a small business. Love this place!!

E.M. Dodger's is great for specialty pet supplies and grooming, and I'd recommend it to all pet owners. There is a wide variety of foods, toys, supplements, etc. that are provided at fair prices. My dogs eat Acana, and this is the only place I can get it for a good price. The whole staff is extremely friendly and helpful, as well. I like and appreciate them so much, I even have their sticker on my car. 😄

This place is great! The owner is awesome. His employees want to be there. Always a positive experience. Lots of well branded selections for dog and cat food, supplements, and bathing/treatment products. Small selection of good quality accessories/etc... Indoor bird stuff, too, and gerbil/hampster/bunny stuff. Good quality CBD for pets at the counter, a grooming service area, and in the past I've seen him help with adoptions. Great guy, great local business to support!

Since moving to Beaverdam VA, we only take our dog, Loki, here for grooming. They always do such an amazing job cutting his hair and nails, which is no easy task because he doesn’t sit still. The staff is always extremely friendly and professional. Very grateful that we have a groomer close by that also has an amazing selection of food, toys and treats. Love that we are able to support this small business. If you need a new groomer and also care about supporting small businesses, this is the place to go.

It's a great little small business pet store and if you live in the area it's definitely a lot closer than running up to one of the big box places. The staff is always cheerful and they have very accessible pet washing areas. They also seem to have very high quality pet food, not the bulk over processed stuff.
