Dollar General on Ladysmith Rd, is two thumbs down. It is always a mess, you have trouble getting down the aisle. Trouble find what you want, prices are wrong on the shelf. I went in there one time and there was moldy bread. Staff is no help, not to friendly either. It has been like this for awhile now. The pet food in the picture is dog and cat food, all throw on there, no order, It is disgusting!!! I will drive out of my way to a different Dollar General.

This store NEVER has any stock of anything. All the shelves are completely baron and have been that way since before the pandemic. Store is constantly understaffed,dirty and just an overall nightmare to be inside of. Dollar general should bulldoze this location and try again

Trashed store a real mess no bathroom for a 7 yr old to use unhelpful employee rude employee at register to check out. Likely last time in store for me. Sad a company your size has Dutch of a mess of a store. Employees bust wander around total lack of supervision sorry to say.

I went in there today with my Mom and I have to say, in the last few months, it’s a mess in there. Even though they remodeled, the aisles are still super small and they are always blocked by huge carts that belong to store employees who are stocking the shelves. They are always blocking aisles with their carts. Not just one cart. Multiple carts. There are more employees stocking than working the registers. One person at the register, 5 people stocking. The lines get really long and I have watched the manager walk out to the front from the office, see the long lines and still not open a register. She just walks right on by like there is no line. Ten people standing there. One cashier. It makes social distancing impossible. The self checkout is right in the middle of where you stand in line for the ONE open register. Not to mention seeing employees not wearing masks. Blocked aisles. You can’t social distance in a store with blocked aisles so small, you can’t even turn your cart around to go the other way. Shopping here isn’t worth getting sick. Risk/benefit here is a no brainer. Way more risk than benefits.

I love my dg store now that they have a good staff. I have no problem with them they seem to go out of the way to help. What I don't like is there shelves are always empty. Got to better with ordering . I notice they do stock right away. But you should have a stocker on the floor everyday because they do get busy at the redjusters.

Great location and very convenient. Store has too much product around the store, it is very cluttered. Suggested to staff that they need to hire someone to put up stock. The store would look more presentable and inviting if stock was put up and not sitting in and at the end the isles.

The store looks like they need to close the doors for good. I could not upload a picture on here but I took multiple pictures of the mess, if any upper management wants to see I can send them. I believe they only have 1 person working there on any given day. If they have more I don't know where they are hiding.

Will always love shopping here for price savings. The staff has changed a lot over the years. Ironically seems to now be all men (nothing wrong with that) but it's lost its feminine touch with greetings, smiling faces, personable customer service. Lines always long. Ughhh.

The young man who was a cashier was very pleasant and helpful but the older lady who was stocking shelves from the metal cages was very rude and not helpful. Is he was wheeling one of those carts to the back room when I said excuse me 4 times before she stopped and looked back at me I asked her for a price on some canning jars that had no price and she just yelled they are 7 something then continued in back room. I don't normally complain but a person like her don't need to be in retail. I worked in retail and you don't treat people badly even if you might be having a bad day. Therefore I did not but the jars there I will go where I will be treated better than that

I wish I could give a half of star for custmore service. Everytime I go in here it's always a line wrapped around the store! I mean the prices are good as well as the selections. But I think some of the employees need more training on customer service skills. Some of the employees are very rude and unprofessional! I spent alot of money in this store but they want be getting another dime of my hard earned money. I rather go to family Dollar and spend the extra money and get treated with respect and courtesy!!

Went in with my mother to pick up a few items. Waited in line (had only one cashier at moment) when man came up to register saying next and proceeded waiting on the lady behind us. (We were there at his register) Even the lady in front of me recognized this fact. He told me we'd have to go around and come back. Yeah, right! Never apologized for the fact of making mistake, etc.

I like some of the employees. They are helpful and nice. Others are rude and need a lesson in manners and customer service... And the store is sometimes cluttered... But then do have great sales also...

Went early Sunday morning to get balloons blown up before it got busy and the 2 girls working acted like it was so much trouble...no one in store..I even helped. Still a problem... One girl said she would help if she knew how to tie them ..really. I wont go in that store any more.. Just 2 rude girls. Wished I had gotten there name!!

I go here at least once a week. Good prices on things especially outdoor decor my lawn gnome's I bought there 4 years ago are still going strong and cost 5 bucks way cheaper than anyone else.

Computers were down took over 30 mins to pay for my items but employees were nice and apologetic. No stars at this time due to technical difficulties during my experience.

The store is always a mess they don't check frozen section a lot of dates are bad I've gotten stuff that went bad next day store is run very poorly

Good selection. Many items like all Dollar General stores are overpriced, but I know this going in. The 3 star is for the customer service, it's usually completely absent.
