Got two pies that was on sale for $3.99 charged me $6.89 asked the cashier if they rang up right she said yes, got out checked it didn't.When back in talked with the cashier so she got someone else to help me .then had to go back outside get the pies bring them in to get the difference took about 10 minutesThen they said they had to do the same thing earlier this morningWhy didnt they fix the problem then so I wasn't inconvenience.Just saying

Be careful of buying cold items here. I bought a 12 pack of Activia yogurt (best by date June 26,2023) and when I opened one of the cups the yogurt was very runny like water almost like they let it get hot before putting it in the fridge. Now I will have to make a trip back to the store to return the yogurt. I will never buy my yogurt here again. The ladies at the registers are always very friendly.

Overall, I found everything I was looking for (only went in for 2 items). I signed up for a rewards card back in August and it still didn't work today. Tried again, we will see if it works this time. Not the level of grocery I have become accustomed to by any means. But for a few quick items I am more than happy with it. And as far as small town groceries go. It is great.

Every time I go to the deli to order and say Hi how are you the woman always have a hateful look on their face and they don't speak or if they do it's not friendly. Why they work a job if they don't want to do it. Hospitality has gone out the window! Make sure you look at the dates on groceries you buy.

Always good people here. They tend to be low on supplies these days, as a lot of other stores are too, but the employees are always busy stocking the shelves and they are quick to open a register if too many people are waiting to check out.

The Foodlion in Rustburg V.A. is a lot better than the Foodlion on Florida Avenue in Lynchburg VA. The produce is not half rotten like on Florida Avenue. Well worth the 10 minute drive to get better quality than getting horrible quality and the employees are nice and friendly, not like most employees at the Florida Avenue/Fairview Square location.....

Good clean store. Would be a 4 or 5 if i could go and buy DEVIL DOGS by Drakes the lol two times I go pre month. Those things are so frickin good. If you had them you know the struggle. But I know if they don't have them, Campbell Av will have them, basically when one has them, the other does not.. Other then that awesome grocery store clean and fully well kinda fully stocked. Stock up on more Drakes DEVIL DOGS. 😈 🐕 please 😉 😜

I shopped several food lines in several different areas and I just love them. The folks are so helpful there they go out of their way to find what you need. They tend to carry some of the specialty items I can't find in other places. Their produce is absolutely superb. As an organic Gardener I know good produce. You pay a fair price for excellent products and I hold them in my highest regard.

There wasn't an option for no stars so I had to choose one star.Where do I begin?Well first and foremost the employees treat the customers like garbage and openly discuss things they find funny about their personal looks i.e I overheard 2cashiers discussing a woman who was obviously handicapped and mocking her,there is little to no customer service,the management act like they are children.It is the worst shopping experience I have ever had,I'd rather shop a scratch n dent store than rustburg food lion.Oh I forgot the sewer smell that's usually there every month.After I heard the 2 female teenage cashiers discussing and laughing at the girl in the wheelchair I never shopped there again.The one cashier was bragging how as he never gets tickets because her dad's an officer also which I assume she meant a deputy but I didn't realize people like this actually existed.

It's great to have a local grocery store! The manager here works very hard to serve his customers, and some of the cashiers are friendly faces to see every visit. I enjoy seeing the younger cashiers start working here too.

The prices are a little higher overall compared to some competitors, but it is at least 10 miles closer to me. The store is clean and well stocked. Everyone knows one another, so wait times in line can be a little longer than average at peak times.

Love Foodlion...but....their shelves and freezers looked scarce..I'm sure due to receiving product in due to Covid has had an impact.I always find what I need for the most at Foodlion.The Timberkake rd. Location,has super nice and helpful folks.Their manager(a really nice lady),when I see her ,she always ask,"How are you?,Did you find everything,or Can I help you find anything?Just always a GREAT shopping experience.Great Job Corporate Foodlion,you got the right folks in place at this location.

I've been shopping at this particular Food Lion for over 5 years and have noticed that the quality of customer service has gone down greatly in the past few months. A few people that I know have told me that they've noticed food items, from this store, are out of date. So, I've started paying more attention to dates on food items and have noticed alot of expired dates. I brought this to the attention of several different employees, none of which bothered to do anything about it. Because of this and the extremely rude employees that I've been encountering, I will no longer shop at this store even though it's near my house. PAY ATTENTION TO THE EXPIRATION DATES!

Went to buy coke products on sale at 5 food lions from alta vista to Bedford this week. Seems like coca-cola is dropping the ball or they only want to sell coke,diet coke and coke zero. Love Food Lion ,great people for the best part. Fair prices and quality products.
