Love to shop here , the friendly employees always bring a smile to my face , they have better prices than many other stores in Rural Retreat, not that there are many stores in general around here but due to inflation the prices at all stores has ridiculously shot up , yet Dollar General has managed to impress me and many others keeping their prices lower than the majority of their competitors.

The two girls are really nice and get you checked out fast. This location has the best selection and is usually stocked. Worth the drive if your looking for something.

Merchandise in boxes laying all through the Isles you can't get through the Isles with a buggy. Store very cluttered up. I asked one of the ladies a question and it she acted like it bothered her to answer me. Then followed me around the store the rest of the time I was there ...felt very uncomfortable. I will not stop here again.

Stopped at Dollar General in rural retreat last night at 9:50 just to run in and get a cold drink. Doors were already locked. A family was already there when I arrived and had gotten there at 9:45. They do not have AC at home and wanted to run in and get a fan for their daughter's bedroom window to try to combat some of this heat. They were trying to call someone in the store and were hung up on. If the store closing says 10 PM, that is what it is supposed to be! Shame on you Dollar General!

This is the cleanest DG I think I've ever been in even though it's a small store. It's always clean and you can get through the isles.

Different experience than in large cities. Shelves were stocked with items I didn't expect but was happy for the variety and prices.

The staff are rude and mean and there selection is very poor compared to the family dollar and the prices are outrageous its supposed to be a dollar store not Macy's lol somebody needs to hire new people for this dollar store
