Best cat shelter of a lifetime. We adopted a cat named Nickolas. He hid in our basements dry wall for three days. We called them and they came to get him out of the wall. Nicest people, clean area, adorable cats. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff who are willing to spend the time to make sure you get a car who is the right fit for you! We just brought home a adorable Cat named Moon! They have very reasonable adoption rates and easy to complete paperwork. If you are looking for a cat I definitely recommend stoping here!

Rescued first fur baby 6yrs ago. People there were great. Rescued 2nd fur baby 2mos ago. Awesome people helped even with a problem kitty. Place was clean, everyone had food and water and were allowed to socialize inside facility. Will be back! Pickles and Francis.

I just went here to donate sheets, towels, pillow cases, ect.On the cat side the women was very nice and friendly, all the cats looked healthy and happy as well.On the dog side a man and young lady were in there who were not friendly at all.

We adopted a couple of our cats from MGHS and they are two of the most loving and wonderful cats we've ever had. The shelter does a great job with limited space and funds and all the people there really care about the huge crowd of animals they help. We've visited to donate Kitten Chow and every cat they had was friendly and happy to see visitors!

MGHS has some of the most amazing, loving and personable cats we have ever had the good fortune to know and have in our family. The rescue does a fabulous job in a tight space with slight resources and overwhelming numbers of wonderful cats looking for families.We adopted 2 of our best and most loving "kneady" cats from MGHS. We lost one (Olaf) to cancer last year, but our other little man (Caesar) is my best buddy. We currently have 6 kitties from various rescues- plus 2 TNR porch residents of many years) but our furry kids from MGHS stand out as favorites in our family.

Wonderful! Love having people who care about the cats of our county. We've utilized their spay and neuter services, as well as contributing donations. It's very unfortunate that Greene county doesn't put any tax dollars towards caring for it's cats and kittens. I'll gladly continue to donate to the humane society since our county doesn't recognize their value.

Wonderful people who love and do their best for cats in the community. We have adopted 2 of our 4 shelter cats from the MGHS and both times had a hard time only taking home one kitty when they they have so many loving and sweet cats in their shelter.
