We've just moved to Palmyra, and unfortunately, this is the closest Lowe's. I've been here 6-7 times, and have not been impressed with the customer service at all. We stopped by several weeks ago and asked if someone could answer a question about blinds, and we were told that there was not a single person in the store who could answer questions about blinds. There is apparently only one person who works there that knows anything about them, and they weren't working that day. Today, I called and told them that the pressure washer that I bought broke less than a minute after I started using it, and I asked if there was anyone there that could help me troubleshoot over the phone. I was told that I would need to call back on Monday (it's Saturday) because once again, no one in the store knows anything about pressure washers.I then decided to just go ahead and drive to the store and return it rather than wait until Monday. When I got there I asked to speak with a manager. I was told that there was only one manager, and he was busy, and they didn’t know when he wouldn’t be busy. Then, the two employees at customer service just started having a conversation with each other as though everything was fine.I then asked them to have the manager call me, and I gave them my phone number. Unsurprisingly, the manager did not call me when he was done with whatever pressing situation he was dealing with. So, the moral of the story is that they will offer to do the bare minimum. They will tell you where an item is in the store, they will accept a return for an item, but that’s about it. Most of their employees have little knowledge of their products, and they will not even go try to find a manager to see if he can help a customer who is upset.

Ordered a PET PRO washer and dryer to be delivered and installed today. Ahmed the delivery driver showed up and refused to install because my house “smelled like dog.” I am a dog trainer (hence the purchase of PET PRO appliances) and all dogs were contained. Ahmed NEVER saw a dog. They should ask customers at the time of order if they have pets if their delivery drivers are too sensitive to deliver to homes with pets. I had to find someone privately to pick them up and install. This will be my last appliance purchase from Lowe’s.

The self checkout attendant is completly rude and needs a lesson on customer service!While checking myself out- as there were no registers open- I overheard an elderly gentleman ask for assistance checking out (he only had one item) she rudely snapped at him "I'm running 4 registers at once right now, you'll have to wait a minute." While there are 4 self check outs, she was by no means running 4 registers at once.I then had trouble with my newly opened Lowe's credit card, as I had the last time I tried to use it, and when I asked for some assistance she smirked and said "well your cards declined, I don't know what to tell you."I asked if I could take my order to customer service and try another way since I've been having issues, she then repated that my card is declined and doesn't know what to tell me.I said thank you and walked away as she spoke about me to 2 other employees.

Great location that is never too packed. We have bought numerous products from this location such as a front door and screen, lawn mower, Kobalt double stacked rolling tool chest, and of course small items such as charcoal and hinges. The cleanliness and service is what keeps us going back; in addition to their Veterans discount.

This store sucks. They aluave too much going on which results I'm horrible customer service and I'm not blaming the employees. There is a lady in returns that was rude to me after I patiently waited for waaaaay to Ling for them to figure out how-to work the system. I had my cash so I walked out. Never to return again. 👋

Went for Christmas/Thanksgiving Cactus was difficult to find all on rack stacked up in center of walking path in plastic. Poor selections of Christmas/Thanksgiving Cactus and small. Bought 2 and lack of pot selections. Replanted overwatered Christmas/Thanksgiving Cactus which then had most blooms fall off before opening. Gave Christmas/Thanksgiving Cactus bigger pot and more Cactus potting mix. Overall wasn’t pleased with shopping at this Lowe’s location. Too far from checkout to doors for disabled customers.

Purchased a vanity and when we unboxed it for our contractor it was completed damaged and broken. Called the Lowe's in Ruckersville for assistance and the only thing they said was we could bring it back. I tried to express the urgency in the fact that we had the contractor at the home and I had no way to return the broken vanity, asking if another could be brought to the home and they could pick up the broken one and I was told no and offered no other options or solutions. In the construction world, things happen and if Lowe's, especially pushing Lowe's for Pros wants to be a competitor in the building industry, they need to understand and have the flexibility when these things happen and be willing to offer solutions instead of just a no to every question.

Lowes is fine this time of year. Disappointed the dewalt 20v max 4 battery set for $199 was sold out. The $1.75 elephant ears bulbs were tempting but I passed on those as well as the red cannas priced the same. A lot of people working but only the self checkouts were open. I despise the self checkouts so I purchased nothing. Actually I didn't need anything. 5 out of seven stars for a perfect score. Still great.

Scheduled delivery never showed. Waited all day, called the delivery line which sent me to an overseas call office, who assured me the delivery would be made and just running late. Called Lowe’s back and they never loaded the truck. I’ve paid $400 to rent a mixer and here I sit with no concrete. Can’t deliver, tomorrow, or the next day, or the next day…I’ve got help lined up and off work with no materials to work with.

Lowes has just about anything you'd want, including a very nice garden center. In the last few years their employees on the floor have become fewer and less knowledgeable, but you can compensate by downloading the Lowes app, and not bothering to seek out the few employees you'll find. The downside is that you must know what you want. Lately, Lowes has gone to self checkout. I'm not a fan of that; they aren't paying me to do that work, and since I get a military discount, I can never really self checkout anyway. The machine calls for a real human to authorize and complete the sale when you select military discount.

False advertisementThey didn't want to honor their own promotion. Associates argued that this blower is not a tool and is not part of the promotion mentioned. That only the items listed on small print are applicable. One of the item number is for a battery, not a bushed bare tool. No were in the promotion mentions only items on the small print. Poor customer service.

Went to the appliance area to purchase 2x dishwashers & John told me to go up front to get then. Matt, from up front, was very helpful but John kept me waiting outside for 30+ minutes on the appliances. He helped several people who hadn't been waiting as long. After waiting over an hour, I had to have another employee tell me that it was out of stock. Never saw John the rest of my trip here.

Lowes in Ruckersville is wonderful. I received great help from Shawna in paint department and Vestris in doors department . The shelves were well stocked and I found everything I needed. Then I was checked out by equally friendly and personable Cathy. I highly recommend this Lowes. The employees here are so knowledgeable and nice.

Sadly, last time I ordered on line for pickup, I arrived almost 4 hours later. And, I asked that I had not received any notications about my order for 2 toilet paper holders. Apparently, it was a special order item. They didn't know when they would be in. I nicely explained that was 'a need to know info, and I shouldn't have to come in 4 hours later'. I cancelled the order.

Great store !! Never a problem finding anything especially with the Lowe's app installed on my phone and the app includes inventory so even better. Very rarely do I go there that someone doesn't offer help at least once before leaving the store. Shopped there since they opened and remodeled most of my house with items all purchased here and always had great service.

Ordered materials for a project we're not delivered within the window. That was scheduled, the delivery company did arrive with the raw materials. Then Lowe's employees got attitude and does not want to claim responsibility along with the shipper.Is full of rude and arrogant employees and management that even disrespect other employees? It's alright as far as box stores go, but the curbside pickup is a little unreliable. Also, they routinely block the aisles with parts, ladders, etc. I've had to walk three lanes down just to avoid the blocked aisles at times. Hard to find help sometimes. But it's never too crowded, pretty well organized, and the staff that is there is always helpful.
