The worst pharmacy in the state of Virginia ! I don’t go there anymore. I go there to pick up stuff for my son. I moved all of my medication and it’s 10 of 7 and they won’t wait on anybody in the window and there are 1234 people standing around talking, I buzz the buzzer. The gate is already down so I sent my son inside. They say they don’t have anything for him one thing that’s not what he was looking for and they don’t care in that pharmacy. They don’t care at all.

I wish I could give a 0 star rating!!! The Pharmacy is a NIGHTMARE! They shorted us a few days worth of ML’s on my sons seizure medication and flipped it back on us saying we were “giving him too much”. I fought hours and hours on the phone to get it fixed. You wait and wait on hold and they hang up without helping. I should be able to wait on hold and speak with someone. Not have to load my children up and physically go into the store to speak to someone about my son’s medication. They are incredibly rude. Wont make eye contact, walk away and all. I wish we had a better place to get our meds but this is one of the only choices.

"I had a disappointing experience trying to get the Hep B vaccine at two different pharmacies. When I arrived at the first one ( CVS Charlottesville - Seminole Rd) at 1:30 PM, I was told I needed to make an appointment online, despite their online schedule showing availability. It was frustrating to learn that walk-ins were only accepted until 12:30 PM. The staff seemed disinterested and were not accommodating.Thinking I might have better luck elsewhere, I went to another pharmacy in Ruckersville at 11 AM. Unfortunately, the experience was no better. The staff there were unhelpful and had an arrogant attitude, insisting that I check online for availability, even though it was clear they were not busy. It's disappointing that these pharmacies seem to prioritize bureaucracy over customer service. I hope they consider improving their scheduling systems and training their staff to be more accommodating and respectful to customers."

If I could give less than 1 star I would. The pharmacy at this place is level of horrible that I’ve never experienced before. The staff, including some of the pharmacists are beyond rude and not helpful in any way. You will get text messages saying your prescriptions are ready, you go to pick them up and they aren’t ready. No apology, just “pull around and wait 15 min.” Oh, and good luck if you want to transfer your rx to another pharmacy other than CVS. They tell you they can’t do it.

By far the absolute WORST customer service you could ever get from any pharmacy. Numerous times we have gotten a text stating prescription is ready for pickup only to get there and have them tell you sorry it's not ready you will need to come back in an hour. Then today we got a text saying prescription was ready so go there to get it and it's taking a very long time and she finally comes to tell me well it's been filled but we can't find it. So she goes back and continues and 10 minutes later she comes back and says we can't find it. We know it's here but not sure where, to which I replied well that's pretty scary that you can't locate a prescription. I said someone needs to be looking in all the bins and she replied what do you think we are doing. I replied this is pretty f'n ridiculous and she went ballistic. Demanding I leave, pointing her finger in my face saying I cursed her which I did not, I made a general statement using a curse word for which I apologized for and yet she was screaming I'm calling the police they are coming for you!! So I sit there and waited some more and a nice lady came and asked if I would pull around while they continued looking for my prescription and they could help the next person so I said sure did just that. When I pulled around a man gave me the meds and I paid and was on my way. None of this should have went this far. The lady went off because of something someone in her workplace caused. I didn't misplace anything they did. This is 1 of many issues with this place. It's by far the worst CVS I've ever dealt with.

As other people have said, I wish I could give this pharmacy a minus rating. I have never experienced such lousy service in all my life. I forget how many times I have requested automatic refill. It's fine for one month and then, wham...they take it off again! Now I tried to refill a med on the phone that has 7 more refills and the message says they will put me thru to the pharmacist. Fat chance! I was on hold for 25 minutes and they then just disconnected me! How can one place be so mismanaged?? How are they still in business?? I'm going to change to mail delivery from my provider. Pretty bad when the Postal Service is a better option!

The pharmacist is wonderful. They are overworked. And they are dealing with sick ppl at times and run the risk at getting sick. Or verbally abused. Very high turn overLast year 2022 every month the cashiers you could relate to just disappear and new ones arrive. Only to leave shortly after I guess payday. Truly sad. (One of the pharmacist is not nice) he is very short with the customer's. He lied to me saying " meds will not be here for 3 says." Refused to listen. I was straight out of surgery so the next day I called cvs back and they stated it would dry in 15 to 30 min. So he is not a very nice person.

THE WORSTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. Nothing ruins my day faster than having to go here to pick up a script because its likely going to take an hour to still find out something is wrong and they don't have it ready. Its insane. Other pharmacies wont even deal with them. I had to wait over an hour to talk to someone to find out the prescription I requested over 10 days ago and never heard back from them, couldn't be filled. I was told to try to call Walmart or Walgreen's. Called Walmart, waited like 5 minutes, they said they could help but they refused to call CVS. She literally told me "We will not call CVS. They do not answer the phone, you're best bet is to call your doctor and just have the send the prescription to us directly." I cannot grasp how they can possibly be as bad as they are. There is zero sense of urgency. There's 7 people in line, with one tech assisting... the rest of the techs are in clear site of customers on their phones. Its like they know they have your medication that you NEED so they don't care because they know you'll wait because you have no choice. Do not send your scripts here. Go to Walmart or try to CVS in the Target in Hollymead.

Edit to put this fist! I got my prescription with three labels on it. And two of the labels had all of the prescription information for two separate people that were not me. (One was mine) Your privacy is not respected. Getting anything done here is a hassle. Phone calls are impossible, dropping off a script is impossible, and make sure to clear your whole day if you need to pick a prescription up. Not once have I spent less than an hour waiting for any service here.I waited hours for a prescription once, and when it was finally available the tech brought it to me and then told me I needed to wait longer for pharmacist approval. And again another day my script was supposed to be ready at 4pm on Friday. And is yet still unavailable to me at 11 on freaking Saturday. These people have no sense of urgency.

03/012023 5:00 PMI started 3 weeks ago to get a prescription transfered from another pharmacy to CVS Ruckersville. I spoke to the Pharmacist/manager on the phone and at the drive through. The prescription was not ready the Pharmacist/manager looked it up and stated my insurance company would not cover it. I looked up the medication on the BCBS formulary and it showed it was covered. I showed that and she said basically that I needed to call the insurance company it was not her job. I again questioned it and THEN SHE stated it needed a prior authorization. That is not the same and she began arguing stating that is what she told me. A woman behind me stated she clearly heard the Pharmacist and she did not tell me it needed prior authorization. The PHarmacist was rude, condescending and very abrasive. Another Dr. Submitted 2 prescriptions on 2/21 and they had not been filled and one on backorder with no fill date. Neither of these prescriptions generated an email or phone call to meIt is now 3/21 and the regional supervisor has never contacted me.

This CVS pharmacy is as poorly ran as the other reviews note. Drive through has been closed for days with no sign, so regardless of illness, you have to go inside to see how to get your meds because no one answers the phone. My meds were filled 2 days ago but I just got the notification today. It shouldn't be that hard to be a functional pharmacy, but they are clearly struggling.

Worst CVS pharmacy I've ever had to deal with. Prescriptions are never ready on time. You can't get anyone on the phone. Never enough staff. Pick-up window is never open. They never have staff. I'll definitely be moving my Prescription.

I would give a lower rating to this place if it was possible. They're always short staffed. Some of the staff are very nice, but they're so overwhelmed and always rushing that sometimes they come across as rude, when they're not. I had to come back twice for the same issue and they wanted to come the third time, after waiting for over 1 5 hours! Also, a few months ago, my wife picked up her prescription and when she arrived at home there was someone else's paperwork with all kinds of PHI attached to it. First, this is a HIPAA violation. Second, it made us wonder if her paperwork didn't end up in someone else's hand. This this the last time we're using CVS!

IT SHOULD ALLOW A NEGATIVE REVIEW. This is THE worst pharmacy in a 50 mile radius. They say the pharmacy is open 10-2 but they take lunch from 1:30 until 2. They can't even work for 4 hours? They lose prescriptions or are to lazy to look for them in the system, then lie to the patient telling them that the doctor never sent it in. It is so funny when you can prove to the patient that their pharmacist is lying to them and not their doctor. CVS has become the new swear word.

Ruckersville CVS close the pharmacy drive up window 2 hours early. They are very very slow and they never answer the phone. The is always a very long line for pharmacy, expect to wait at least an hour to pickup a prescription. The pharmacy manager (female) was very rude.

My appointment went well. However, my father scheduled his as well after we found out the Ruckersville location didn’t accept walk ins, yet everywhere else did. That’s fine. Made an appointment for the following day, got the confirmation text message so went the following day and they didn’t have anything in their records and the pharmacist was downright rude about it. Pops rescheduled for a couple hours later and got a cancellation message 30 minutes after rescheduling the appointment. To top it off, it was completely dead. There wasn’t a line of people anywhere. Keep in mind I was at the Orange location the previous day and not only where they insanely busy but also kind, respectful and willing to do walk ins. Unfortunately they didn’t have the booster we needed or I would have gone back to that location. Long and the short. Screw this location. This hasn’t been the first issues we’ve had here either but I’ll tell you want, we’ll never go back to this one if we can help it and Id warn you to find another too.

I'll give this CVS one star like everyone else. My doctor called in a prescription and 4 or 5 hours later, it still wasn't refilled. I told the person at the drive through window it was called in mid-day and she said "That doesn't mean anything to me." Such customer service is appalling. CVS is simply another big box store that could care less about their customers. So, after I pick up my prescription which was called in yesterday and for which I'm on hold waiting for someone to pick up the phone, I will transfer any prescriptions I get in the future to Gordonsville pharmacy. They're polite, you can always get someone on the phone, and they can fill my prescriptions without aggravation!!!! Bye bye CVS. You're pathetic.

This store has PROBLEMS. The drive thru is a joke. They wait until you show up to fill you RX. Nine times out of ten, you get, "We're working on it, give us 15 minutes." If you get back in line, it takes 20 in minutes to get back to the window.Apparently the app is useless, as it and the store apparently don't always mesh. (According to the pharmacist.)When you complain, rather then listening and passing the info up the line, the pharmacist would rather argue with you.I know most of it is not her fault, which I thought I started with, but when I leave angrier than when I drove up, YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!Did you think telling me it was my problem, would make me a satisfied customer? (Not her exact words, but that's the way it came across)I have an idea, keep a log of how many times in one week you tell someone to come back in 15-20 minutes, and see how big a problem you have. The most inefficiently run pharmacy I've ever seen.

WORST PHARMACY EVER!!!!!The only reason a star was given is because that is the only way to post the review. WORST PHARMACY EVER!!!!!Someone needs to address the problems at this location. There has been a prescription called in 3 separate times from the doctor for the same prescription for the same patient and we have spent 3 months trying to get it filled and today it is finally getting filled because I called and raised a fit about it their ignorance and mishandling of this medicine. The patient has been in horrendous pain waiting for this medicine to be filled at this location and they have continued to mishandle it even though the time spent on the phone and in person over this medicine has been extensive. I spent 32 minutes on the phone before anyone even answered the phone at all today. This is medical malpractice in a new degree and the pharmacy should be held accountable for their negligence at this location. My husband had to call from another line so I could actually speak to a live person. The person who answered, claimed to be a manager, yet was volatile about, no one can even answer the phone if they have customers at all and there is nothing she could do to assist with the situation because the other two front end employees were back in the pharmacy already trying to help with the crowd. I used to work for CVS and the front end employees were not allowed back behind the register to pull patient prescriptions due to hippa violations. HMMMM has this changed? However, this is a terrible response to just trying to call in and find out if a prescription that is desperately needed is going to be taken care of or continually mishandled as it has been for 3 months.Come on CVS get it together. Ridiculous! Totally disgusted with this location and the way business is handled and patient care is handled, totally negligent. Shame on the managers and the employees and the pharmacy needs to specifically be held accountable for their disregard to patient needs and health concerns.

I rated this store higher in the past. A particular pharmacist left and everything has changed. You need your medications when you are sick. I have called Corporate twice. One of the new pharmacist is helpful. The front store staff is great. I called yesterday and gave them 24 hour notice I would be there today. I was told they were running behind. When you get there,, you are told another 30 minutes to an hour wait. Then they will say they will expedite it. When you call, sometimes they don't answer the phone or hang up. So then you are waiting there sick and spreading germs. I use the app but sometimes your prescriptions will say in process for days. You cannot change the in process in the app. You then have to call the store. After holding for a long time, I have also been hung up on and they dont even say hello.

Wish zero stars could be given. This CVS has been getting worse and worse ever since Craig left as the pharmacist. The last several months have been unbearable. If you call plan on being on hold at least an hour, if they bother to ever pick up before you give up. Have much better, faster and friendlier, service in Culpeper even though they are always swamped being close to the hospital.

Wow…it took this pharmacy 2 WEEKS to fill my prescription after insurance cleared it the day after my doctor sent it over to them. No calls, no notifications, so I just kept checking their automated help line, and all it kept saying was it was “in process”. When I would call over those 2 weeks I could Never get through to a live person until I waiting on hold today for about an hour. Then the lady who answered said it had gotten rejected by my ins. when I told her that no, it was approved the day after it was sent over, and I had emails and MAIL from my ins. to prove that, she kept saying it was rejected. Come to find out, the Pharmacy had sent the claim incorrectly over and over again to insurance with the incorrect date. And only fixed the issue (to cover their tracks, without telling me that she figured out what the issue was) literally while I was on the phone with my insurance rep. Right after I hung up with CVS. She could see it and told me as it happened. Luckily this wasn’t Rx for a life threatening illness (which is why I was being more than patient) I’d probably be dead a week ago. Definitely switching pharmacy’s after this incident.

I love Annie has a pharmacist, but there are to many other problem. I wait on hold for more then a hour. When I do get through and tell them I waited for hour, they never say sorry to hear this or apologize. It’s always someone else is fault. I will be changing to a different CVS, because I can’t take it anymore. My health and medications are so important, they don’t make me feel like they are important at all! Good luck Annie, your new and this is not your fault, but you might want to go somewhere else!!

After 25 years in the area, and constantly declining service, we are switching away from this CVS to a different pharmacy. We receive texts that the Rx is ready, wait up to 30 minutes in the drive through to pick it up, only to be told it's not ready yet and please come back in 15 minutes. Why/how did I get the text that it was complete if it's not filled yet?!? This happens 9/10 times. The final straw was yesterday when my wife had surgery. Afterwards, the surgeon called in her prescriptions and talked with a live person. Hearing nothing, we drove by that evening to 'poke them' for our usual 15-minute wait, only to be told no Rx was in their system. They were about to close, so we had to get the Dr. to send it over to the Walmart pharmacy. Never again. We are switching and I recommend you avoid this place for your own health and peace of mind.

The sign outside the drive thru says call ahead to ensure your prescription is ready. I did just and was on hold for more than 15 minutes. I hung up and drove to the store and still had to wait for someone to assist. This is the second time in as many days that the pharmacy staff seemed ill-prepared to assist customers. They are also not the most polite...

Absolutely horrible service. I have been sitting in the drive through line for 40 minutes. I am going to switch pharmacies.Update: got up to the window after 50 minutes in the drive through line to find out the prescription refill I called in before 10 AM wasn’t ready by 6:15 PM. Called my doctor this morning to have my prescriptions move over to Walmart.

My family and I have always had the worst experiences trying to get prescriptions filled at this location. I would have never gone back except our insurance changed. They are constantly late in filling prescriptions, either by filling them days later or when you show up they will have you wait for extended periods of time while they start to fill them. That’s if they can even find your prescription from the doctor in their system in the first place.

I have tried repeatedly to use the Ruckersville cvs , and every time they never fail to disappoint me for extremely poor service. If you look at their website (all cvs) for flu vaccine appiontments you will see they only schedule one appointment per hour, with no walk-ins.WHAT pharmacy needs an hour to provide one single flu shot. I do not reccomend their services for any pharmaceutical needs whatsoever.

Pathetic and act as if dealing with customers is an inconvenience to them.Wow can you believe that? I had the same experience the many other CVS customers writing reviews had at this store.First visit: I dropped off a handwritten prescription from PA in Charlottesville.Second visit three days later: Someone that seemed not friendly said they are behind in the prescriptions and mine was not yet filled.Third visit few days later: pharmacy was closed early on a Saturday mid afternoon.Fourth visit a week and a half later: Again not ready but this time agent told me they had my prescription item on hold but not yet filled and not ready for pickup (no explanation given) Agent went on to say would be ready in 15 minutes. Wow I am getting closer...Fifth visit about an hour and half later: Its ready but that's not the end. Tried to charge me more than five dollars over the Good RX deal and agent said was being priced to me on a discount card already when I asked what would it be using my insurance card. I don't know what discount she was referring to. Next had to wait while charge was adjusted to the Good RX deal. While waiting I noticed Walgreens' Good RX price was over three dollars less. WHY DIDNT I JUST GO TO WALGREENS IN THE FIRST PLACE? I certainly will go to Walgreens in the future when filling prescriptions in this area. I have been Walgreens Seminole Trail Charlottesville many times and always had a positive experience. My primary doctor is in Harrisonburg and usually get my prescriptions filled at CVS South High Street Harrisonburg and never had poor customer service at that location despite having many prescription filled there over very many years. Shout out to the team at that store...
