First time kennel experience with my new dog and the entire experience was awesome! Both drop-off and pick-up were a breeze. The staff members were extremely professional, and my dog stopped for kisses from the staff member on the way out. This was a great sign that she was shown lots of love during her stay and I will definitely use them again whenever I have to kennel my little princess.

I'm so glad to have found Breezewood. Our terrier mix has been very reactive with other dogs, which made us wary of a kennel situation. We arranged a few day care visits before boarding her for a longer period. Becky and her team did a fantastic job making our pup feel comfortable and gradually introducing her to other dogs. When they sent a video of her calmly walking around in a group, it was like a miracle. Highly recommended.

Love Breezewood. I've been taking my dogs here for years. My current pup literally drags me happily down the path and into the office. She's so excited to be there, doesn't even look back to say goodbye. I can leave knowing she'll be well taken care of and she always comes back looking great and nice and tired from a fun visit! Highly recommend!

Where to start!?! From the lovely drive down to the gravel road and driveway to the path up the kennels we were instantly pleased with the setting and looked forward to kenneling our dog here. Breezewood Kennels exceeded our expectations for our senior boxer! She was well rested and happy when we picked her up. The reservation process, check in and check out was a breeze. The owner and staff were very accommodating and understanding and took the time to listen to all our concerns about our dogs stay. We couldn't have been happier with her first stay at Breezewood Kennels! Oh but please do take care of the traffic on your driveway and road, I had to stop for a small turtle and a bunny of all things crossing the road, they might of been having a race!!! :) Love this place, we'll be back!!!

Breezewood Kennels is without a doubt a 5 star facility for our pets. I have boarded several times (3 large breed dogs) and my dogs loved it and most importantly she treated them like family! Becky does not hesitate to answer any and all questions, has convenient pick up and drop off hours, offers a serene spa like atmosphere and goes above and beyond any kennel in making your experience stress free. There is no other place for my dogs!

I can't say enough about how great they were. They squeezed us in last minute over a holiday and our pups were there for 4 nights. We recently got a new addition to our family and prior to boarding, we hadn't introduced the dogs due to timing. When we picked them up, they had worked with our pups and the dogs came home friendly with each other. We will definitely be back.

We have been bringing our Aussie here since he was a puppy. He has stayed numerous times. I cannot say more great things about this place. Stanley always has a great time and they enjoy having him. Other boarding kennels will make you pay extra for your dog to have outside play and activities. Not Breezwood, you get so much for a very reasonable price. It's like sleep-away camp for Stanley. They will also send you pictures, video, and text updates of your dog while you are away. I could not recommend this place more.

The best kept secret for sure! We have been so pleased with their services and releived to find a place after trying many in the area. Our dog is always happy playing in the beautiful fenced area they have and we trust he's well taken care of. Our dog hurt his paw right before taking him which worried us when we were about to leave town. They cleaned his wound and bandaged him, sent us updates and pictures that made us feel so much more comfortable. He was back to normal when we picked him up!

Here is our experience with breezewood kennels:We called and spoke the owner, Becky. We have a very active dog with a medical condition and she needs her medications twice a day at specific times. The feedback was positive and she said it would not be a problem; they can handle it and do it all the time. So we made a reservation, they had room for her and all seemed fine. We were planning to go on vacation and needed to make sure we have a good place for our dog.A few weeks before our vacation we went to tour the facility. We were not impressed by what we saw. This is a family owned business at the end of a very long and unpaved driveway. We again discussed our dog and we clarified she needs her medications twice a day at specific time. Again, they were fine with that.Then, that evening, we get an e-mail stating that they cannot administer the medications in the needed times and therefore cannot take our dog. This is two weeks before we had to leave! So we have no solution for the dog. This is really unacceptable as we see it. If there was an issue with taking our dog, why not say it from day one? Why waste our time and then stick us without a solution? I called and tried to talk to them, they are not returning the calls. We see this as rude and unprofessional behavior.This is a shady business practice, I recommend avoiding this kennel. I suspect that they don’t spend as much time with the dogs as they say they are, hence why they cannot administer medications on time…Update, June 10 2017:Thank you for posting a clear answer. It would have been better to answer my phone call and give us this explanation directly, I wonder what prompted your reply? Is it because I made my opinion public? Well, I intend to keep doing that on every possible media, because I completely disagree with your approach here and think you did us a disservice.Our dog has a stable medial condition and has no ongoing issues, as long as medicine is administered correctly. Any kennel that we ever worked with had no issue taking her. She does not require a medical facility. This is also formally supported by her vet.It is completely within your right to choose what dogs you take. However, we did talk to you and you said it would be fine, then it suddenly wasn't. The only new information disclosed was the fact that the meds must be given at a specific time...so I don't "buy" your explanation. It seems that you rejected her because it was not convenient to your schedule. The medial condition was fully disclosed from the first phone call. If you had an issue, why didn't you say it then? This is highly suspicious.Your facility was not the worse we have seen, but far from the best. We live in town and have no issue with beautiful loudoun county. It is your kennel that has issues. We were willing to give you a shot. We also made the mistake of counting on you as our only booking, and it was late to change, but then you made it easy and ditched us in the last minute...What kind of kennel owner dumps a dog like that in the last minute? Look in the mirror and ask yourself.May you have a great weekend full of only healty dogs. Leave the rescues and the ones with medical needs to those that really care about animals..

This is a creepy operation located deep in the woods in the middle of nowhere. When I brought my small dog for boarding a couple of months ago, I was relieved to see other small dogs. Other than that, though, the experience was a little disconcerting. The lady who runs the place makes you sign an unreasonable amount of paperwork. She gives no indication of having any love for animals and seems to have just opened this operation as a side business to make a little extra money since she owns a lot of land. She is completely disorganized and doesn't appear to have any employees (at least I didn't see any). She makes you pick up and drop off only at two narrow time windows, and even after I complied, she was surprised and confused to see me during the agreed-upon times and made me repeat information I had already submitted online. In a nutshell, this isn't the best place to board your dog. Unfortunately, all the reputable places in town fill up quickly.
