I've passed this place a number of times, but finally the timing was right that they were open when I had free time. So glad I stopped in! This place is crammed with fun, interesting, affordable antiques and vintage items! The proprietor was very helpful: moving things to get to something I was interested in, giving me price breaks on a few items, holding everything up front until I was ready to check out, and offering to help me to my car. My only regret is that they don't have longer open hours, but now that I know their schedule, it's worth the effort to make another visit happen!On my visit, I purchased some vintage Fisher Price toys, vintage board games, and a lovely wooden box that I'll use to create a diorama of some sort. But there's something for every antique lover here!

This is a fantastic hidden gem of an antique store. I found it two years ago when my daughter moved to Roanoke & I have to stop there every time I visit!

Mike is a great guy!!! He was closed and we called him and he came right away and opened for us. Great items at great prices. When we come here stopping at Yellow Dog is a must!!!

Great prices, unique items! You could spend hours looking at all of the vintage items. Great customer service. The owner is always so helpful and kind. Would highly recommend!!
