Thank you very much this is the best Kroger I have ever been to the best experience I've ever had in a grocery store.I am 50 years old when I was sixteen my first job was working at a grocery store and there was a great importance for going out of your way to help a customer without them ever asked you.I was here today and I left my card at the register to go grab another cart. I stopped by to ask the manager something and when I returned to the register my card was gone it was all placed in bags ready to pay for! Thank you 10 stars! The floral dept employee went above and beyond to help us with flowers for a wedding. Due to supply chain problems beyond her control she worked with us to develop plan A, B, and C to make sure we had the flower arrangements needed. I was so impressed with her. Thank you Kroger and especially their floral dept!!!

Good place to shop as long as you use the kroger card and get coupons too! They have pickup which is great!

EXPIRED MILK.. today is Dec 17th, the milk sold to me today is Nov 28th… I shouldn’t HAVE to check every single date on every single item I pick up, I should be able to TRUST the store to not be selling SPOILED MILK.

First let me say that the Customer service folks are always very polite, professional and courteous.However, today we noticed a jar of low sodium Miracle whip that was 2 months PAST the BEST by date! I just bought this last week.This is the third different item we've purchased from this Kroger that had the exact same issue. On the previous ones we notified customer service and they kindly offered a replacement.Unfortunately this is still happening. Just be aware. Clearly I need to.Thank youDon

It was very nice. They sell boar head sandwich meats. My local Kroger doesn't sell that so had to go to Rocky Mount VA to get it.

Since Kroger left NC to break the employee's union it's definitely been missed by customers. We visited their knock off store called Ruler Foods by Kroger while in the Midwest and found some toilet paper we like better than what Aldi has.Since we were in Greensboro we decided to take the 90 minute trip up to Rocky Mount to get more of the TP. Yeah, call us crazy!Never been to this particular Kroger, but it's like all the others insofar as the merchandise. We found the TP we were looking for so loaded up on it. Don't know when we'll make it up this way again so might as well.

It's generally clean overall. Not the most friendly employees, but at least they're showing up to keep the store open. 🤦🏻‍♀️I recently noticed that my dad only buys fresh, raw meat from one specific Kroger. He says that, from Kroger specifically, it's much better quality. I've been such a Walmart shopper forever.. feels like cheating.

Purchase bread from the bakery if you don't like the taste or odor of laundry soap.This Kroger places the strong odorous laundry soap & fabric softener in the same row and on the same shelf as the bread for some odd reason. The strongodor contaminates the bread.The potent odorous laundry soap should be with the rest of the soap in the general merchandise section.

This Kroger has always treated us well and usually has what we need in stock. I'm not sure if it's still there, but they used to have a section of dairy with a motion censor that made a cow moo. Two of my children would be entertained for quite some time by that alone.

My chip in my card was not working and the woman U scan watched me try it well over 10 times and never ask if I needed help they say on the screen that have tap to pay and that’s a lie that was the reason I come here instead of Walmart you can’t even swipe your card anymore I knew my chip in my card was not working right then found out I can’t use tap to pay this is why I don’t usually shop at Kroger.

Shopped at Kroger on 460 near Botetourt on a Sunday afternoon and the store was absolutely packed! All the checkouts were manned and had lines, as well as all self check outs. People were rushing with their carts, and it was sometimes difficult getting through some areas! Some of the weekly coupon deals were sold out including the mandarin oranges and store brand soda. As I'm not familiar with this store, I asked an associate for the location of a product, and he kindly looked it up on a hand held device, stating that today was his first day on the job there! I think he was in management, and was very helpful and professional with a cheerful attitude. All the associates did exceptionally well in what could have been chaos, but the lines moved smoothly, and I noted no negativity in the shoppers, so maybe they are used to the shopper crowd there! Good Job Kroger!

Was in the same parking lot getting a pizza decided to pop in and get a 12-pack of diet Dr peppers they were $8.99 at Kroger's . get the same thing at Walmart for $5.99

Very easy to move around and even with a ton of people inside it was still roomy. The employees didnt know where some items were at when I asked but that was the only issue.

On Jan 12, 2023 We go into the Rocky Mount Kroger, good shopping experience so far, then go up to the checkout line at 2:50 pm and this older cashier woman they have working was hateful to the customer in front of us. She doesn’t know how to smile or say thank-you and just handed us then change and proceeded to start ringing up the next customer. Is this how bad its gotten kroger? You have to put people that hate their job and have absolutely NO people skills as a cashier? One line open and thats who you have representing Kroger?

been shoppin at this store for over 10 years but that has finally ended. This store has done nothing but continuously gone down hill for 1o years now. Dirty, shopping carts are never replenished, hand baskets are never replenished, stock is never rotated (better WATCH those exp dates), prices keep getting higher and higher, and now the last straw - they consistently never have more than one cashier on duty - 1/2 hr + wait in line (unless you check out your own groceries - no thanks I don't work here). I;m sick of it!!! Its so bad that I can be in a good mood entering the store and will walk out in a foul mood... No More am I spending this kind of money for slum-level service

I like the Kroger in Rocky Mount, I used to frequently shop for my grandfather here.It’s a pretty good store but they definitely need some improvement. One time I found expired juice being sold, I went to customer service and showed them. They didn’t apologize, just said “Oh no, this isn’t good”. They asked if I wanted manager to call me, I said yes. They promised the manager would call me in a couple days, manager didn’t call me until a whole month later!!! I missed the call, The manager’s voicemail was completely unprofessional. For one thing they did not even state their name. If I had wanted to call back I wouldn’t have known who to ask for.

Bad experience with customer service and manager who was suppose to call me back about a refund, never did. I was initially told to come back the following day to speak with a manager (who wasn't there at the time) and bring receipt so the cameras could be checked so I could get a refund. Drove way out of my way to do so and waited 20 minutes in the store for the manager to never speak with me. Another employee took my info at customer service and told me the manager would call me back after reviewing the camera. That was 3 days ago, unacceptable. I was told I could get a refund and did everything I was told to do. I won't be shopping there again.

Good store, helpful, friendly staff (go visit Sharon in the deli section; super lady!), we run into a lot of our friends there. Plus, they've also changed the software for the self checkout registers so they are not so annoying. Also, it is easy to rack up points for gas discounts, they run specials on items that have coupons, so it's easy to save money. Too many reasons to list why Kroger is the place to grocery shop.

The website said said closing at 5pm on Christmas Eve, but they were blocking the door at 4:45. The man was rude saying, "that's what you get for waiting until the last minute." Well, Sir, it wasn't my choice to be there at 4:45. If I had known the website was wrong, I would've gone straight on to the other stores along the same road that were open until 6 & 8pm. I'm embarrassed that Kroger in Rocky Mount has always been my 1st choice. I cannot believe the guy was so rude!Merry Christmas, rude dude.

I tried the online ordering thing for pickup and this store completely messed it up. I paid $15.98 for chicken I never got. I ordered "quantity 2" of bananas, thinking I would get two bananas, instead I got seven. The shampoo I ordered turned out to be conditioner. I ordered 1 avocado, but instead got two. I can tolerate one or two minor mistakes, but not four. I shopped like this at the neighboring Walmart and my order was perfect. They even upgraded a bunch of my items to larger or non-generic brands for out-of-stock items. If you want to shop online for pickup, do it at Walmart, not this Kroger.

Customer service is not the greatest. Helping customers should be a priority not an inconvenience. I like Kroger's because they offer certain items not found at Wal-Mart, like fresh sushi, but their produce section and meat department cannot stock as much so often times they are sold out of certain items, especially items on sale. On the plus side, purchases earn fuel points which is a nice bonus.

In the past, I rated this Kroger a 5 star, but sadly it has changed, probably due to corporate decisions. Popular brand names have been done away with on many items. I usually like their store brands, but in some cases I want a particular brand which is no longer available there. In addition, the last few times I've been there, they were lacking items on my list in any form and so I had to go to another store! The look of the store itself is no longer upscale. The aisles are crowded and close. The people who work there are fabulous, and I continue to go their because I like their pharmacy and I like the gas discount. However, if the store goes down hill any more, I guess I'll find some place else to shop.

Wonderful young man at the self checkout named Logan I think was super friendly and all smiles. Made my day to see such a happy young fellow working on a Saturday morning. Just love Kroger so so so much better than Wal-Mart.
