Awful. (Used to be decent as shown in older reviews. Now, not so much.) Not open when advertised. If you call them on the phone from your car in the evening while actually seeing employees standing around in the store talking, playing around, laughing and making glaring, disgusted eye contact with waiting customers outside knocking on the door, they tell you they are closed at completely different hours than the big printed sign on the door and advertised hours on Google, etc. If nobody is there at opening, hang out for an hour or two and they may stroll in only to go in and come back to unlock the doors thirty minutes or more later. They will cost you money and wasted time driving there. Go somewhere else. It'll be worth it. The store is always low or out of stock on essentials and/or sale items. If you ask about the items, they could care less and get mad at you. The morale of employees is horrible. Always complaining about working there even after getting a new self checkout machine/station. Stay away from this degraded excuse of a dwindling, spiraling black hole to Hades.

Awesome. This Dollar General is arranged differently than any other $Gen I've been in. Shelves were all stocked fill. VERY good assortment of products. Employees were very nice and helpful. +++Bathroom was the cleanest I've every seen in any store.

Got everything I was looking for. Store was well-stocked, but cramped, with a lot of stock crowding aisles. But, hey, better that than not enough stock! Mens restroom was clean and well stocked. Cashiers were friendly and helpful.

It is always nice to come in and talk to those who are looking out for me. They are always nice and helpful even though they are busy with stocking shelves.You are not going to be in a better store. It will be a good visit for All your needs.

This is a new store, not far from my house, which is nice. Any time I need something, even last minute, they have it. I'll ask the GF if she thinks they have something, and sure enough they do. Store is always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Nice addition to the neighborhood

I love Dollar General on Virgil Goode Highway in Rocky Mount VA! The prices are great. They have just about anything I need. The employees are very friendly and helpful. It is very convenient since it is less than a mile from my house.

Store is clean and maintained well. One of the better ones ive been to. I would reccommend anyone to go there if you are in need of something. The staff is also very friendly.

Dollar general... What else can I say? Excellent. There isn't a word in the English language that more aptly describes this company. Although excellent doesn't quite invoke quite as high a feeling about their business as it should, I cannot think of a better word for them. The English language just has never come up with a word to be descriptive enough to let you know what level these guys operate on. I love their deals, their skills, and their no frills. The customer is forever number one here and it shows, they make you feel as if they work at Dollar general only to serve you, like you're the only customer in the world. That personal touch really goes a long way. When you're in the mood for a personalized shopping experience and also the best deals on the face of the planet Earth I recommend dollar general, also known as pesos generales. We are going dg at Dollar general, getting Dem dealz on the realz, loving how they making us feelz. They keep your wallet a little fatter than other places because they love you. They really do, most dollar general stores love you so much that they actually try to marry you and that is so weird, but I accept and understand it now, ever since I became a dollar general insider.

I always love going in DG. I always find a barging & something surprising. I plan to stop in there thy his wk to see if I can find 3 kids travel chairs. I need blue or something boyish. My 3 grandsons love DG to so I try & visit when they're home, it's cheaper, lol.
