Stopped here on the way home. Place was busy, and the self checkout was broken. However, the one cashier was working super quickly and was nice! Everything was decorated up for Valentine's with many options for you to get something nice for your honey!This store has definitely improved in the last few years. It is by far one of the better ones! Clean, employees are friendly and helpful, lots of space to walk around in. Most of the store is a cake walk in terms of layout and appearance.What would've been a 2 star three years ago is now a 5 star, which goes to show you that the right set of people makes or breaks a store. Highly recommend!

This is without any question the nastiest most unorganized cluttered dollar general store I have ever been in ! You cannot find anything for everything in the floor and so out of place ! The cashier was on the phone the whole 45 minutes I was there and never stopped talking on the phone to wait on customer she carried on her conversation while waiting on people . I have never seen any other store in such a mess and with no one working on putting things in order . Wouldn't suggest that anyone go in this store and I know I will surely not be back in this one again!!! Management needs to be addressed ASAP !!

This has to be the best Dollar General in the area. They have a great crew who keep a tidy store and are always super helpful and courteous. They are convenient to me, but if I move I'll still go out of my way to shop here!

Absolutley rude!!! The cashier at this location with the long nails and golfers hat has no business working with the public. Store is a total mess. Carts in the isles and no room to move or shop. The cashier I explained above just took my wife's change and dropped it everywhere instead of handing it to her.THIS STORE HAS BEEN GARBAGE FOR AWHILE NOW !! Dollar general DO BETTER!!! This employee needs to be retained or something.

Very good customer service. They even let you use the restroom which is rare now days. Prices are decent and the store is pretty well stocked. Parking is fine and you're able to exit directly to 220 or use the stop light to go back towards Rocky Mount

Store has went downhill a bit since my first rating of it. Some of the staff is great, but others need to find new jobs. The one lady with short hair, Lisa I think is very hard working and friendly. But the rest should find new jobs.

Very large store any thing from chicks to boots. Prices were decent. We went for the first time on Black Friday this year. It was packed very long lines. But did get a lot of great deals like a heated cat house.

Needed to grab one item for kids school party and the staff had the door locked 15 minutes before the posted closing time and refused to open up. Update your hours if you are not going to stay open til your posted times.

Place is always a mess. The people that work there are so unfriendly. If there was another place on my way home to stop at, I would go there. When I am not in a hurry, I do go into town or down to the other one on 220.Also, you will always wait at the checkout. They are never around. The manager will be outside and will not come in from her cigarette to check you out. You will have to hunt down the employee that is putting up the stock, which is everywhere, to cash you out.The store is out of what I am looking for a lot of the time. When I asked an employee: they said it is probably not put up yet. I said you have been out for a while. They said that sounds right.Lastly, the milk refrigerator smells so bad. Milk spilled in it when it first opened. They put paper towels in it and that was it. Never cleaned it. I never buy milk from there now. Anytime someone opens that door, I gag.

No problem with the store per say but the morning manager isn't very friendly and isn't in a hurry to help customers. If she is unpacking boxes she will not stop what she is doing to if someone is waiting at the counter. She has even stopped other employees from going to take care of ppl waiting. Other wise nothing wrong with the store or other employees!

I love going to Dollar General, but it's very obvious that the company doesn't care about their employees one bit. They totally overload them with job duties making it impossible for them to get anything done. No matter which store you go to, you'll find stock everywhere blocking aisles, etc. None of them have an adequate number of employees working. I feel sorry for all of them. If you ever encounter a pleasant Dollar General employee, be sure to compliment them.

Short of help... store needs to be cleaned up. To much stock in the middle of the floor needing to be put on the shelves, but because they are short of help, it doesn't get done. The workers are very nice.

Two workers stocking shelves near the register while I was standing to be. Checked out. I asked if anyone was working the registerOne said l be tbere in a whileThe other said everything is free today, go ahead and take it. I left my items on the counter. I'll never stop there againVery poor customer service. This happen at 1:15 May 6, 2019. Two women employees. Fire them.

Libby the manager is rude. Trisha a worker also rude. Neither can do math! I recorded all but the first 2 minutes. Now bb&t is going after them due too 4 transactions Libby did on my card. A pack of cigarettes cost me a little over 20$ but they acted as if they couldn't do simple math! I suggested that the new girl Heather run or stay and be promoted. I wouldn't shop here. Also I took all but 2 receipts that Libby was able to grab.

Glad to have DG near me, didn't have to go into town. The day was calling for the Big Snow Storm. Madhouse. The lady that was on duty was the best. She was the only one there on check out. Long line but each customer she greeted with a smile and friendly customer service. She was an African American lady@35-40yrs. This gallery deserves a raise.

Cheap prices, clean floors, polite staff. Plenty of checkouts open so lines tend to be short. Aisles are easy to navigate and not as cluttered as other locations in this area.

I went there bought a glass tray and as the cashier handed it to me I dropped bit , the cashier told me they would replace it , but I do not blame her I dropped it ,they did not have another one but it is ok I took it home and fixed it . I love the way they tried to help me, we will go there again, thank you.

Store Manager is very unprofessional, unfriendly and very Ghetto! She walking around the store with dark sunglasses and have the radio station on 97.1 with an attitude! She doesn't set a good example for a Store Manager for a huge corporation she needs to go through another training program or be demoted! It's hard to believe that Dollar General allow this to continue in there store! Eveyone I know complain about her, it's really a shame!

Like to shop here but every time I go on a saturday I forget my coupon....they need to be able to do it at the register if you buy so much without that paper coupon..

Everything I go in there, everything is thrown and very messy. They seem to be in the middle of stocking 24/7 or they have never finished. Big carts with boxes block every aisle.

The lady at cashier was saying no dogs aloud it was a puppy and there was no sign saying no dogs and the lady was rude at the cashier tonight and tell me this would y’all leave a puppy in the vehicle I don’t think you would it wasn’t walking it was being held she was really rude about it all y’all should have sign if don’t want dogs not common sense not to have dogs around because got food like said before it was a puppy not a big dog and I walked passed two other coworkers and neither one of them said anything thing to us but she was really rude about it all
