They need to check their dates. I just bought candy from here, more than half was expired and I'm talking about more than a year old. I'll drive the extra distance to Kroger or Walmart before I go back to this dump.

It was easier to get in and out today. Wasn't as many loaded product stocking carts in the way. Which there is normally so many, that one can't get into the isles to shop. Today was a better day in the store. Thanks

It wasn't my day. No Bosses Day cards. No sugar free jello or sugar free pudding. They were out of dish pans. The worker was nice and helped me look. Maybe another day.

Always clean and has a great selection. Well stocked. Staff aren’t very friendly just come off as not caring if you’re there or not but overall a really nice store.

I have to say this place looks amazing So please let me elaborate I have been around the area for several years and I have visited the store many time because I like to save money as much as the other well the place really went down hill you seriously couldnt walk through the aisles it looked more like a cluttered warehouse that lacked organization well I went back the other day the management has changed You REALLY NEED TO CHECK OUT THE NEW WAY IT LOOKS TOTALLY DIFFERENT AND OUTSTANDING JOB!!!! I have to tell them and anyone thinking of stopping in do it! To the staff I have to really give you a hats off I'm so glad that you are leading and making things so much better then what they were way to go!!! So do stop in and show them support they need it To keep the doors open we are going to have to look at smaller businesses and support them. If it cost me a few extra I'm ok with that as long as I dont feel like cattle being forced through a shaft just to get a loaf of bread and detergent

i’m truly happy with this store , while most of the stores are out of stuff this store has everything and mostly packed, tonight i got really lucky i dropped my airpods without knowing it and i called up and Brandon told me to come on in and get them !! i love this store so much! thank you for everything’

Awful.......i used my dg app throughout the store using the calculator and applying coupons as I went along. When I got to the register and put in my phone number to apply my coupons it kept saying download failed. Long story short. I didn't get to use any of my coupons. I even had two paper coupons i cut from the paper and the register wouldn't take those either. Very unpleasant experience! And there was a line that had formed behind me cuz of the time taking of this. I do not like the dg app. I planned my trip very carefully and selected my purchases with care. Very unsatisfied. Will not be going back there Again any time soon if I can help it. These days every bit of money that can be saved needs to be saved. I ended up paying almost double what I would have had to had the app and my coupons worked correctly

Great selection of items and reasonable prices. Convience being local and not having to go to grocery store. Would rate 5 stars if they had more help always long lines and waits seem to always be understaffed.

I went into the Dollar General I picked up the items that I was looking for needed I found the clerks the cashiers the stocker's to be polite and courteous and helpful with the items that I was looking for this was the Dollar General in a little town called Rocky Mount Virginia part of Franklin County the small Hometown feel that you get here is very felt and extremely warm very beautiful people I have enjoyed my trip here and the people

Store was not very well organized, shelves were in disarray, many items were out of stock and the checkout line was backed up. Pretty standard for Dollar General which is why I generally avoid shopping here.

The prices are good. I was disappointed that they as stopped selling the store brand soft drinks. Those were my favorite. Employees are nice, but checkout can be really slow.

Dread going into this store. Cann't even push a cart down an aisle because of all of the full stock-carts sitting everywhere. Half of the time, you cann't even get what you're looking for because it's still on the stock-cart blocking the aisles. And if you suggest that they need to stock merchandise, they tell you that they aren't given enough time by corporate to do that. The "ONLY" reason I gave 1 star is because there isn't an option to give zero.

This store is plain out NASTY. Every time you go in the Rocky Mount location on Pell Avenue there is stock carts on every aisle and empty shelves. It wouldn't surprise me if they don't just shut this one down.

Cause they are avery clean store and most of the time organized. If I need help they are right there helping me look if they don't have any of on the shelf.

Most of the time there are boxes scattered through the store and you can't push a buggy through the asile. It is not handicap friendly or fire safe I'm sure.

Constantly disappointed in speed at checkout. The registers are inconveniently situated. Total cluster-up when more than 2 customers are ready to pay.

Cheap product, could be less costly for what they have could be updated and have more like some of the newer ones i have been in. Beeing they have us over the barrel by not having but one other choice to stop at with out going all the way to town

Man there was so many box's in the isles you couldn't find anything.Biggest mess I couldn't get to the stuff to purchase. So I left. Very disappointed.

These stores are too crowded, you cant get a buggy up and down the isles. But have a good variety of items.
