Stopped by the Plow and Hearth store and outlet. The staff was friendly and helpful. I love the Plow and Hearth products and am very happy that these stores have not closed.

I love Plow and Hearth. I keep flags on my house and in my garden. I can always find something I love, and was even able to get a new USA flag. I also love wind chimes, and they have the best. This store just makes me happy.

It's one of my favorite shops in Virginia. Wonderful selection of yard/garden supplies and decor (incredible wind spinner selections), yummy jams, etc. (I'm trying tangerine strawberry marmalade this time), fireplace accessories, cool t-shirts (Life is Good), the list goes on. The main shop is in front of the outlet and it's great, too. The icing on the cake is the genuinely nice and helpful staff.

A long drive for us (about two hours each way from central Maryland), but worth it. We were looking for a specific patio chair & table set, but needed to see it before purchase. Bought it, and several other things as well.

Interesting, attractive, useful resource. between their retail store, and their online presents, and their outlet store, they provide a good smattering of decorative and useful, accessories for homeowners and decorators and gardeners. they, even, have their own branded chemical sprays to protect lawn furniture, and other things. Check it out!

I usually find a lot of cute discounted items at the outlet and the store which is located behind it. Cute flags were bogo. They are moving more Christmas items into the store although there still are a few Halloween/Fall items available. Free parking lot.

One of the employees there, is hateful. She jelly t telling the gal on the register to ring the wrong prices, I had to correct her several times and each time she argued, no, I was wrong. Long story, but I proved I was right, and told her how hateful she was. I sent a complaint to them directly, and they never responded. Her attitude is unacceptable.

Not a big fan of the items here. Most are cheaply made and over priced like crazy. Nice store but the isles are small and usually very crowded with boxes and items. Just makes it difficult to get around inside.

Went with my wife and mother-in-law to do some shopping. Had an older cashier act very rude and unprofessional. Never caught her name, will include reciept info below.User AC Spl DLO Rg#302 Dr#302 Time 3:22 Oct 9 22My wife just wanted to get a drink while her mother shopped around. Found a few free samples that had and wanted to try some out. She grabbed a few samples and the drink she wanted to purchase. Went to the counter and waited patiently to checkout. The cashier almost didn't help her, and during the checkout commented on the free samples. When my wife mentioned that she wanted to try the different flavors to figure out which ones she wanted, the cashier replied "That's not what they are for, they are for paying customers that are actually going to buy them." Didn't make any sense in making a comment like that, implying that she wouldn't buy any of the jam after trying the free samples. Overall, a negative experience, I hope to never run into this employee again.

I have been shopping here for years. Never had to return something until now. Per the return policy, all sales final. The return in question was a set of curtains with very misleading dimensions.

My husband and I browsed the store and made our way outside to the outdoor furniture. We noticed a tent with several sale items and we walked in as a few caught our eye. After walking down an aisle for went felt like several minutes a woman abruptly yelled at us to leave the tent because it wasn’t open to the public. We did not know as there were no signs nor any acknowledgment from the staff working outside and in the tent. We of course apologized and immediately turned around and walked out. The women then made a very snide comment about their lack of sign (but yet we still should have known). We again apologized and I told her to have a very nice day. To which she responded a kurt thanks. Then, another woman shouted from where she was standing that the tent would be open soon. At this point, I look at my husband who is equally offended as I am and we decide to leave. My response to them was point taken, we got it.This was our very first time ever in a Plow & Hearth and it will be out last.
