Came here for an oil change. There was two cars in front of me. Took them 10 minutes to even acknowledge I was there. Hateful technician and cashier came to my car to tell me they are booked. Booked??! Yeah ok. Two technicians standing around not doing anything. Don’t go here. Go to Take 5 instead.

Too crowded. Impossible to get help in most departments. Today the customer service center was very helpful and fast, and the employees have been much more courteous recently so I gave two more stars than I would have a few months ago.

Waited over 30 minutes for someone to come open the locked Lego case. Pressed the button to call an associate. Went to customer service. Still no one came. I don’t blame the associate’s because they are stretched thin. Management is to blame.

Good experience shopping before going to eat! Nice Customer service helped us get to self checkout because we accidentally went the wrong way and got out quick! 👍 wasn't busy at all

Tried to pick up a little early. I was told not available until after 4:30. I offered to go in store and get item etc. Before I got back home at around three I was alerted item was ready. I had to download app. In order to get the item after I arrived at the store. I assume wages are up to $15+ an hour. They have no authority to alter system to provide customer service. When pressed on the issue they become rude. Saved $10.00 by ordering on line instead of buying in store. What a deal.

Honestly just the most ratchet Walmart in the Roanoke/Salem area. Way too many areas are locked up and the wait is too long for an employee with a key to get even the most simple things - underwear, shaving cream, hair supplies - and especially women's health items. If you happen to even need monistat, it is all under lock and you are forced to wait for an employee to come unlock it for you or have to hunt one down who has the key. I think it's absolutely degrading and humiliating that women have to wait for a male employee to come unlock that case and be forced to explain what they need - then they just give the customer the item anyway, or they take it to the front. The amount of items under lock is utterly ridiculous to begin with, but some of those if they must be, should just be behind the pharmacy desk for customers to have any privacy and dignity to purchase. No other Walmart in the area does this - it is absolutely worth driving a little bit further out to go to a different one or even a different store entirely just to not have to deal with how messy the store is and everything being under lock - also half of the cases that are locked have an assistance button so employees can come unlock it but half of them don't work. They don't change the batteries or check them

Strange enough this was one of the best out of town Walmart's I have ever gone to when visiting a city. It was the middle of the day and there was no crowd. The lines weren't long and there was an abundance of staff asking if you needed assistance (definitely a first). Store was well stocked and clean. Very easy to get in and out both the store and parking lot. Didn't have search for a parking space either.

The nastiest, most disorganized, messy, unprofessional Walmart I’ve ever been to. The shelves were an absolute mess and things all in the floors. Clothes were messy. Couple employees wearing belly shirts. Just disgraceful.

The place is staffed by morons that don’t know when to use discretion. Properly , they declined to sell beer to a 59 year old without identification. So, the 58 year old spouse with identification was making the purchase. The counter person stated, they are under audit and the 58 year old can’t buy beer for 24 hours because we were a couple. I imagine a world where there is a Walmart manager that can identify a moment to use common sense. But, moron won the day. Same beer at the same price next door. Did I have to give one star?

Only deserve 1/4 of a star. Worst experience ever at this location! No check out lines and staff completely rude to customers as if we are a bother. Will be happy to spend extra money at Kroger and food lion since Walmart is not worried about service.

Came to this store to buy some boxers (and about $100 of other goods). The men’s underwear are locked up in a glass case so not only do you have to wait on someone to come help you, but you can’t even reach into the case to look through them. THEN, when you tell the worker which ones you want (which can be a little embarrassing), they won’t even let you carry the merchandise around the store. They want to carry them to the front for you!?Of all the items to lock away, why the men’s underwear!?I left all my merchandise and walked out.I refuse to be treated like a thief when I’ve never stolen anything in my life.

Valleyview in roanoke VA, huge store checkout but only a small fraction of the self checkouts were active. No human cashiers even though the entire front of the store is checkout lines. Not only did I have to wait in a long line to check myself out I then find my item dosnt exists in their system. After dealing with that they want to charge me for a bag. I think eventually customers will get tired of being treated like this. To say something nice, at least I didn't have to show my receipt to prove I didn't steal my purchase.

I wanted a battery put in my WalMart watch. The girl said she would page the manager, Frank, who was in charge of the jewelry department but she thought he had gone to lunch. I asked what time he went to lunch and she didn't know. I asked if she could call somebody who knew but she didn't know anyone and she didn't know the manager's cell phone number. She didn't know how long he took for lunch either.I shopped for a while waiting for his return, but an hour later he had not returned. I asked another girl and she said he had gone to lunch and I told her I heard that story one hour ago. She called over Melissa who was supposedly over them and she said she didn't know when he would get back, but she had talked to him on the phone. Melissa said he was getting his car fixed.So the manager of the jewelry department takes off, fixes his car, and no one knows when he left or will return. In the meantime, no one except Frank can put a battery in a WalMart watch.This store is the pits!!

Huge variety of products, starting from groceries, then home, garden, car, tools, electronics, clothes, toys and different sports products.And of course big choice of different dort of meat. Today I picked some nice piece of beef (sirloin center cut). And it was awesome!!🥩😋👌🏻Lots of goods with really good quality and at a reasonable price. Really recommend it. One may get everything one needs to buy in one single spot in town.😎👍🏻

This place is a mess. It was my first (and last) time at this location. There was a very bad spill in the automotive department. I informed an employee and she tried to get help but no one came while I was there; at least she tried. Another employee, younger looking and thin female, was just wondering around the store. I saw her a couple of times. She seemed to be hiding from someone, who knows. Many aisles and shelves were clustered messes. Some were impassable. See Photos

sat there for about 30 minutes in electronic section trying to find someone to unlock a section and there was nobody in the section and everyone you go up to doesn’t have a key and tells you to go to customer service but then there is nobody at customer service either. also everyone is apparently on a break and talking to other employees and won’t even acknowledge you to even help what so ever also on their phones while talking to the customer

Love coming here. Never had any trouble. Things could be a little more organized at time but when you have a ton of people coming and moving things everyday that could probably be hard at times especially when changing from seasonal things and getting ready for holidays and such.

Store is always clean and organized. Staff everytime I been to this Walmart is helpful and super friendly. The area and location used to be no worry but tbh these days I usually go to a different Walmart fr. Don't be surprised to hear gunshots close by. Nothing at all against Walmart, it's all gotten worse in parts of Roanoke. Flip on WDBJ7 news anytime it's on, 7 out of 10 days you'll see the yellow crime scene tape and location Roanoke. Next they'll show the number that's wounded and that didn't make it.

It's not bad enough they make mother's feel like thieves with the formula locked up and a button for assistance to get into it, a button you press and wait forever to get help with. Then the employees look at you like you're the idiot when you ask for the formula at the register and make you ask around to find it. The cashier also bagged frozen fruit and cheese with my raw chicken, grapes with my raw hamburger, and bottles with my bread. Honestly taking suggestions on different places to shop; this is not the first time this Walmart has showed how little they care about the training of their employees and the treatment of their customers.

It was a typical Walmart trip. Store was busy, freight in carts everywhere with no one working it. I will admit the store was clean and the associates I did interact with were very personable and helpful. It wasn't too crowded, but it was during the week. I'll leave it at that.

Fast and easy and you are on your way home if you order online and have it delivered its there within a few days.The only thing that upsets me of these people parking in the reserve pickup area. I seen five people Park their car and then walk into Walmart to do they're shopping. There should be a sign saying TOW away. But other than that I am very happy with Walmart.

I WILL BE IN TOUCH WITH CORPORATE CANT BELIEVE MANAGERS WOULD LET EMPLOYEES ACT LIKE THIS. I placed an order 3 days in advance for a hunting stand that was on sale to ensure when I get off work I would be able to come pick it before it sells out. Called and the online pick department they were very rude and would not make sure that my item was reserved and refused to check if it was in stock. When I called I was put on hold for 20 mins for the girl to be completely out of character. I can't believe the managers allow their employees to act like this. I will never return to this walmart and I will be in touch with corporate.

Well, it would have gotten the full five...but i don't believe I'm ever going to hey behind this wally world that is not the 24 home-away from...All-night-Heeli Rink....and just, such a safe and wondrous place to spend those wee -hours ov the morning...you know, you could share away the part of the day you couldn't sleep away.Ok, I'm rambling. Whichni would t do if I could go hang out at Walmart!!!!

This walmart is Ghetto , it's no other way around it. The employees are ghetto, I watched them stop someone's basket, cuss them out and accuse them of stealing. They linger around you at the self checkout kiosk, looking in your cart to make sure you aren't stealing. They just make you feel like your doing wrong and the whole receipt checking thing. If I paid for it , I own it and I'm not showing anything. Get rid of self checkout if that's the case.

They have rearranged and brought out some new merchandise.I didn't like that they had 4 employees looking over your shoulder while you used self checkout. I mean heck man help me bag up these groceries at least 😂And that's 4 employees to 6 check out machines. They could have sent a few to actually run registers

The wal- Mart here don't have much in the way of product's concerning dentures, why is that ? I can go to other wal- Mart storesIn other states and find more products concerning dentures like Reline it kits and denture cream etc...most people say welcome to Roanoke...,
