I just want to thank the associate Josh, who helped me with my online account and coupons. He was the most pleasant and kind. He was so very patient with me and knowledgeable about my issues. I have to say, coming from another store associate who works as a cashier, I have not seen good customer service in a long time!! And all though is irrelevant, he smelled quite well too. I surely appreciate his friendly helpful attention. Thank you Josh!

Today's pharmacy service was exceptional. I walked in near closing time, they were busy and I'm sure tired.. Myself just coming from work forgot the name of what I needed nor could I get the payment to work correctly. The Pharmacy Tech Cory was patient, kind, helpful, and generally a great person. Service like this is not found everywhere- just at my local walgreens.

Had an issue with one employee which was later resolved. Just like all of these drug stores the prices on every day items are extraordinarily High when asking about this they tell me they go by a convenience store model on their pricing. My advice is get your prescriptions here but shop at Walmart for everything else.

BEWARE of this pharmacy. Absolutely the worst service in town. Won't even answer the phones. They also have messed up my father's prescription twice. I can not say this enough BEWARE. The store part is okay though, a little pricey but that's to be expected.

I called to refill the prescriptions after hours as I had done with other pharmacies without issues. But at Walgreens, it progressed through all the steps to refill a prescription before it told me “the pharmacy is closed at this point, please contact.,,, “The next day, I called during the working hours to speak to the pharmacy staff, and was on hold with “there are 1 caller ahead of you.,,,” for over 2hrs..It seemed that how Walgreens is operated now because calling the pharmacy is worsening than calling the IRS.I’m thinking of moving my prescriptions to other pharmacy where I can communicate with the staff.

This is the WORST pharmacy I have ever worked with in my entire life. I have used Kroger pharmacy for years but after the new year - my in-network pharmacies changed.First of all, I wouldn't be writing this review if I could just talk to someone on the phone. Every single time I have called this Walgreens I am on hold for 30 minutes + and every single time the automated machine says "there are more than 3 callers ahead of you" and I am waiting for hours. Meanwhile I call the Walgreens Brambleton and they answer right away.I am not an angry person and I do not usually leave this kind of review. But DO NOT GO HERE.On top of never answering me, I was given the wrong prescription and the pharmacist told me that my prescription did not have anymore refills (when I had literally gone to the doctor the day prior and it was a brand new prescription AND I called Kroger and they also confirmed that I had 3-4 refills).Do not go here. Go to any other Walgreens.

Like everywhere, they are experiencing a staffing shortage in the pharmacy. I recommend calling ahead to make sure your Rx is ready. Can take a significant amount of time otherwise. Sometimes up to an hour to get a script ready. Friendly staff, doing their best to keep the drive-thru line moving

I come to this Walgreens frequently and in general I am satisfied with my overall experience in the store and the customer service. However this morning I went to buy medicine for a family member. It was 7:58 a.m. and they do not open until 8:00 a.m. I saw an employee standing in front of the register. I knocked and the employee standing right in front tried to tell me something but I could not make out what she was saying because she didn't move closer to the door and had her mask on so I could not hear or read her lips. I knocked again and said "I can't hear you". I knocked a third time and it was clear she was blatantly ignoring me. I realize sometime after I left what she was probably trying to say is they do not open for another 2 minutes however this brief interaction was very frustrating. This employee needs to receive training on professionalism, effective communication and decency. In the very least remove your mask briefly to say you are not open. Don't ignore a customer just because they cannot hear you through a door.

Terrible customer service. You'll most likely overheat your car plus your temper. Walgreens has the slowest prescription drive through I've ever encountered.One car in front of you and it takes a eternity waiting for them to serve one car per 20 minutes.

Pharmacy is pretty bad. Frequent mistakes, orders put in wrong, missing, and the wrong price is almost always charged. The last few months I've had to review each pickup with the cashier since they're not able to apply insurance correctly.

It doesn't matter if it's 1 car or 10 cars, the drive thru is the slowest ever... I really wish my grandmother would change to Kroger pharmacy. Walgreens just always seems unorganized, will tell you they just got your prescription when your notified hours ago it was received. Awful honestly.

The store need to do something about the older shift lead grey hair lady named Cynette. She is rude, always has an attitude, and does not know how to communicate with customers. If she doesn’t like to talk or be around people she needs to be in at a different place with limited people contact.

I went into the store last night to pick up a Western Union at around 7:30pm. I went to the kiosk and entered my information and it said to proceed to the register to pick up my cash. As I was finalizing my information on the keypad at the register, the register went down and had to be rebooted. I understand these things happen and didnt mind waiting at all. The cashier was by herself and was very busy, so she had to go back to the front register and help customers. She called the Shift Leader on duty to come help us. I cant remember his name, I think it was Kenny. He had to be the most unprofessional , non customer focused staff member I have ever met. He told us the computer needed to reboot and walked off. As we patiently waited for someone to come back and help us (32 minutes later), the cashier finally came back over, although she was very busy and logged back in the computer. She finished all of the verification with us, but had to wait on the shift leader to return to get the money for us. We could see in the mirrors at the back of the store and noticed the shift leader was back in one of the isles having a "fun" conversation with someone who appeared to be a friend. We waited another 20 minutes for him to come up to give us the money. He finally came, counted out the money and walked off. Not once did he apologize for our wait or anything. This is very poor customer service. He is the shift leader and should be setting the example for his employees. We should not have had to wait almost an hour for a service that should take 10 to 15 minutes at the most, but for him to not even try to provide good customer service was uncalled for. I noticed on his badge it said he had been there since 2009. I cant see how with those skills he has. For me and my family, we will never visit that Walgreens again. We are having our prescriptions moved and will drive across town to the CVS before we step foot back in that store. Kenny needs a lot of retraining and needs to learn that customer service should be his main focus especially when wearing a badge that says shift LEADER.

THE ELDER LADY ( with short white/ blonde hair ) that is the manager of this place needs to be fired. literally ordered a few things with a coupon that you can only use once , and they didn’t give me half my products . then when i went inside found the products ( second time this has happened to me ) she told me to just reorder online, and i had to explain every detail of everything to her about how it was a one time coupon and how much everything was ... she wouldn’t give me them for what they were online. the three products almost cost more than my whole first order . pitiful. fr ... gonna find the number of the whole store manager and complain. never coming back here . EDIT: went back after my dad ordered me the products i had in my hand , and she rejected one of them once again. went in there and she FULL ON LAUGHED in my face . and told me she’s going to price match only this one time and then was talking about over and over again infront of me to another employee. how do people like her become managers... ridiculous. just because i am young does not mean i am stupid and you can step all over me .

Drive thru is extremely slow. Waited in line for 45 minutes with two cars in front of me. Seems like they fill the perceptions right when you pick them up instead of them already being ready.

I stopped by Walgreens late Friday night (3/16/2018) to pick up a few items before heading home. The evening Manager on duty this particular night comes storming down the aisle and advises me that I need to hurry up and check out and if I’m planning on stealing, she will catch me. I of course was extremely offended and I advised her that I had no reason to steal. She then begins to use racial slurs and says “now ni**er” I was in total Shock! I assumed I heard her incorrectly. I replied, excuse me? She stated that I was probably planning to steal what I had in my hands. And that’s what ni**ers like me do at this time of night. I advised her that she was being extremely rude and racist. She continued to follow me around the store. I’ve heard of many stories like this happening at Walgreens but I never thought it would actually happen to me. I felt extremely disrespected by this outright display of discrimination and hatred. This needs to be reported and the night manager for that night needs to be held accountable for her actions. You can view the surveillance footage from that night and confirm that I’m not exaggerating this story at all. This was the Walgreens on Williamson rd. Located in Roanoke, Va. The incident occurred on 3/16/18 at night. I know it was late and she probably just wanted me to hurry up before closing. I have no problem with that. But the racial slurs and intimidation tactics were extremely uncalled for. My experience is one of many stories that I am seeing happening at Walgreens. What are you all doing to make sure your store associates aren’t continuing to behave in this manner? Racism of any kind should never be tolerated.

The pharmacy staff was ver friendly here and helpful when another location (Franklin rd) treated me horribly. The franklin rd pharmacy employee Hana was very rude but this location was very helpful and friendly... it’s sad that a place like Walgreens can allow a person that works as a pharmacist ruin someone’s day by being so mean. Very thankful for the help at WILLIAMSON rd
