Great store. Fresh items, clean location, friendly staff. They have delicious bakery items. And I can't get enough of their lump crab cakes. I'm looking forward to seeing what other items I love. It's pricey, but most of the times the quality is worth it.

Very pleasant and nicely displayed grocery store. However, it’s unfortunate that it doesn’t have a wider selection of organic fruits and vegetables, as well as organic packaged products. I’m among those who try to avoid all non-GMO and all non-organic food products as much as possible.

I was so impressed of all the variety of healthy choices. Many Gluten Free choices as well, I was very pleased with Rachel she took the time to help me. Rachel and her team where very kind and generous. I will also note this store was very clean and organized. Will definitely say if your looking for healthy choices for your diet this is definitely a great place to shop.My favorite thing about this place it’s ‘’Very easy shopping no brain storming for choices’’.Two 👍 👍 thumbs up.

This store absolutely blows my mind with good thoughts and complete satisfaction with service, staging of store and unbelievable service from all of the staff which I have encountered! I am reported my delight with the store manager and try to do likewise with the staff which I encounter! A star for them from a very satisfied customer! When I asked an employee how it happens that everyone makes an effort to help…his reply “this is a good place to work”. Enough Said.

I went in last night to pick up flowers and dessert for my mom to continue celebrating her anniversary. My dad has been gone almost 13 years. I picked out an assortment of stems and the florist happened to walk by and struck up a conversation. He was so unbelievably wonderful and asked if he could arrange them for me. It turned out so beautifully! His kindness just about brought me to tears. Unparalleled customer service.

One of the best fresh and organic food markets,it is Expensive as usual,but worth the visit,As Name " Fresh" food,fruits and Vegetables are Fresh,Prices are too high but you enjoy every moment,high quality,great Variety carefully selected and cleanliness..get a free coffee samples,then grind it yourself fresh Almond and Peanut butter,for cheese lovers there are best selection,wonderfull Backery and french pastry.Nice friendly staff and good Managers...No WiFi,,free parking

I have always loved fresh markets, chicken salad from their deli. I went into the store recently and noticed that it looked different. I asked the person behind the counter if it had changed. It took a little bit of going back-and-forth and I was told “we change the way we process it“. Well, I can tell you it tasted nothing like it used to. Whatever you did, I would stop doing and go back to how you made it in house before.The chicken salad was one of the things that definitely drew me into the store most often. Don’t mess with perfection.

I just spent 30 minutes trying to fill out an order for Christmas platters that I would like to pay for upfront and pick up on December 24 ,2023, and because of so many intrusive ads on their website. I could not accomplish what I was trying to do. I have almost 200.00 worth of food I would like to buy, but it seems like they could care less . I called their store, and it just hung up on me . WHAT A WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS.

First time I have ever been completely disappointed with my trip to Fresh Market! Hit this store for most of my steak and all of my seafood, but this morning I was greeted by a guy in the meat department that acted like I was causing him great pain when he had to wrap my $30 porterhouse and then I waited 15-20 minutes at the seafood for a batch of scallops. Asked for help twice and got "In a minute" so I put my steak on the counter and left. Such a shame. Oh well, at least I can get choice beef anywhere. If I want prime I will just order it. Was a great store before the equity firm took over and now Cencosud.

Always a good, healthy experience here, including customer service. I didn't find the variety of seasonings in bags that they used to carry, but I did find some new jellies/jams to try in the pictures. I love making my jams/jellies, etc. from April to Fall when fruits and veggies are in season and plentiful.

I am at a stage in my life where I I look for quality and value. I looked around the store and picked up a couple of things. I later put them back and went to a competing store where prices were two times lower.

Really enjoy the free coffee smells. 😅 The fresh made options are great and if you sign up for the loyalty program you get coupons and notifications of their specials. The raspberry pillow cookies are too die for, I eat a box on the way up the mountain.... I need some right now.....

Happy to find this little grocery store. They have so many things that we haven't been able to find since moving to the area. The store isn't massive, but they definitely have a lot of hard-to-find items as well as a great selection of meat and seafood. The cheese selection is the best in the area, and we can't wait to try the bakery.

The staff is the best I've ever seen. They are all so very helpful and even thanked me for coming in to the store. The store is clean and the produce was excellent. It's a little pricey, but it looks like they have quality items. A wide assortment of coffee's and candies. So glad Roanoke has this store!

First time in there. Looking for more healthy and whole food options, store was very nice clean and everything was Fresh. Enjoyed fresh whole coffee beans and assortment of nuts and candy. Meat department looked fantastic.

It's been a few years since I have been there, but I feel like the quality of the fish has drastically gone down. Everything was frozen in the case and did not look good. Also even with prices increasing and fresh market typically having higher prices. The prices seem to be astronomical. I paid $20 for a cheesecake which I was told was 6 in and is only 4 in. I could have gotten a real cheesecake in New York for about the same price and it would have been three times as big. I was extremely disappointed because we drove 30 minutes to go there specifically to get a better quality piece of fish or meat. We left there without it and said we will probably never go back. At this point I would rather just get something from Kroger.

I love Fresh Market and shop there about every 6 weeks as I live 40 miles away. I really like the quality of the meat department and often stock up for the month ahead and freeze the extra. I purchased 2 PRIME rib eye steak as I often do Aug. 8, they were so tough I couldnet eat them. Pretty expensive dog food, yes the dog gave them 4 stars. VERY , VERY disappointed at more than $50 for 2 steaks that are usually one of the reasons for the long drive , may stick with ground chuck from now on.

I used to really like the roasted chicken salad until I went in there about a week ago. I don't know what has happened but it was the worst I've ever had( also found a bone at the bottom of the container)the chicken was tough and the mixture as a whole was really dry.if i didn't live 40 mins away it would've been returned that day

Let’s forget about the absurd prices for a minute, because that’s a given… I have never once been able to get help at the bakery counter. I’ve probably tried at least 15 times now. Thinking I might be invisible because its always staffed and I am just totally ignored but other people standing next to me don’t ever seem to have this problem! Earth fare has a delicious bakery and I can actually get service there sooooo we’ll just stick with that

Fresh Market has so many great deals! Monday - coconut shrimp, crab cakes, pork loin roast, bacon and more are half price. Tuesday- reduced price chicken breast. Weekly Little Big Meal. And they can help make your holiday meals easier.On top of all that, the quality and freshness of their meat, seafood and produce is better than the average supermarket.That's why I drive out of my way to shop there.

This is a great way for niche products and ethnic ingredients.The meat counter has an abundant selection, the coffee has a large variety, and the hot food bar is a great go to when you don't feel like cooking.Overall, definitely worth a browse. There's something for everyone. Bakery, beer, drinks from kombucha to sweet tea and sodas.Look for the meat specials, salmon discounts too!To the owner response:The produce section leaves a bit to be desired. It may be that I come in between stocking but it's usually low stock. Also, as there are a lot of ethnic foods of the prepackaged variety I wouldn't mind seeing more ethnic produce as well. I understand, however, that you have to stock for your customer base.

A little pricey on some things, but amazing selection of meats and produce. Feels like a mix between Earth Fare and Publix. Nice ambient lighting and music, the staff are always very polite, and it seems like the products were selected for quality.

This is the place to go for super good food, especially fruits, veggies, and their deli food selections. A little pricer than Kroger etc, but worth it. Store is always clean and nicely organized. I shop here when I want something special..the desserts are fantastic!Added 4/24/22:Chose to purchase the Sunday special chicken meal which consists of a rotisserie chicken, two deli sides, and absolutely delicious sweet cornbread muffins. Joined my mom for lunch and we had a feast! The food was excellent, the broccoli slaw was tasty with cranberries and walnut slivers, and the chicken was thoroughly cooked and juicy. I shopped early on Sunday so the store was not particularly crowded and was surprised that they did have fresh chicken available that early. Check out was easy and all the associates were masked and very helpful and friendly. The store was clean and it was a pleasure to shop in the nice environment. One of my favorite places to go when I want something special.
