We are new to the area and starting with a new grooming service. I felt very welcomed and well-informed as I made my first appointment for my dog’s grooming. Cheryl, the receptionist, is a warm-hearted, congenial person. My dog, and I look forward to her first grooming in May!

They were extremely kind to take my dog in for a quick nail trim at the last minute. I'm disabled so it's extremely difficult to trim his nails myself and the huge corporate groomer I had just come from didn't touch his nails at all.But Star City's Bark Avenue came to the rescue! They brought my little guy in right away and took great care of him. And now he's comfortable because his nails aren't bothering him.They are great people who do a wonderful job. Shirl is the best! I know I have a new groomer now.

Teddy loves how he looks when he gets done. He is a nervous ninny when he gets there, but they handle him perfectly and he struts around for days afterwards. They do just what I ask and all the guests at my B & B comment how silky he is and how good he smells.

I absolutely love Star City Bark Ave! We've been taking our Australian Shepard, Duke, there for close to a year now. It's amazing how the staff remembers Duke and takes such good care of him. We always see Kim and Duke absolutely loves her! He is always so clean and his fur feels SO good when he's done! Duke used to be nervous for us to even use a brush on him (we think because of a past groomer before we owned him), but Kim has worked with him on everything and now he lets Kim clip his nails- which is huge for him!The whole staff is so welcoming and sweet, and it is also super affordable for all they do! If you're in the need of a groomer, DEFINITELY check them out!

Haley & Kim are fantastic! Took my somewhat nervous, recently rescued female retriever mix Scout for a nail clipping and they treated her as if she was part of their family! Very impressed with their professionalism and empathetic touch! Will be back next week with Scout for a full pampering session!!!

On Friday, my family found a stray dog who was in really, really bad shape and utterly filthy. When a home bath didn't work, we reached out to Bark Avenue on Saturday morning and they quickly scheduled us for a bath as soon as we could bring the dog (now named Rudy) in.Upon arrival, it was clear the staff was very concerned about Rudy and wanted to help him. He was taken immediately to the back and we went to grab breakfast. We returned ~45 minutes later to find Rudy in much better shape and the staff was still doting on him.I was impressed with the way everyone was concerned about seeing Rudy get better. The service was prompt and very affordable. I can't recommend Bark Avenue enough.

This company changed their name. Previously known as Taj Mapaw 2. THEY CUT OFF THE END OF MY DOGS TAIL DURING A ROUTINE BATH! He came out bleeding which led to a visit at the vet, antibiotics and a cone for 2 weeks. No apology! Please, if you value your dog do not bring them here.

They took such good care of my older Shih Tzu who had one eye removed due to an ulceration followed by rupture. Being sensitive of grooming of his head she used technics to gently distract him. He looked so handsome with his new hair cut.

We have been very pleased with Star City's Bark Avenue. Before we moved here our bischon was well established at her groomers and with moving to a new location there is always the stress of finding a good groomer. Cheryl is very kind and we like how she is grooming Holly.

I just had major surgery and my dog really needed to be cleaned.i called bark Ave but was told she was fully booked.i totally understood it was the holidays after all.but they returned my call a few minutes later and said she will fit me in l could not of been more grateful because I knew my dog was miserable. She went way above and I can not be more grateful. So thank you. I am not able to go out for 8 weeks other wise I would thank you in person.Sincerely heike and most of all beau.

So friendly and great prices! She had my 2 dogs nails trimmed in less than 10 minutes and for $10 each. And my dogs are not very cooperative when it comes to nails! Will be returning!

People there were very nice but person that cut our dog's hair didn't even wash him I ended up having to cut his hair on his ears the hair on the top of his eyes and around his snout we won't be going back

After having my dog for 5.5, he came out looking like a rat. Not a Westie. The fur on his face and ears was cut so close, you can't tell what kind of dog he is. They definitely didn't do a Westie face. It's so close under one ear, I can see the pink of his skin. The only reason I gave two stars is bc she didn't charge for the horrible job.
