The store is great and great prices. The reason for the low stars is the checkout time is horrible. I have been in line for 20 minutes and I had to ask them to get help before they would open up another register. That is not good customer service. If you do not mind waiting a long time to checkout. This is a great place to shop. The people are great but they only have 1 register open and the line is at the back of the store. You just need more cashiers. I think if they had more cashiers they would do more business. The staff is really nice. But you can tell that the one cashier was extremely stressed out because of the long line. She handled herself very professionally under the circumstances she was put in. Once they got another cashier. The line went down very quickly. The sad part about this is I had to tell them to open up another register. if it would not have been for the wait time to check out. I would’ve had to give them a five star.

Always find great bargains when going to this store. It was pretty crowded. Two shopping carts were stuck together. I asked a young teen working to help me get the baskets apart and she said... can you just use another basket instead. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I said well I want to use the small carts and not the big one and even if I don't use the ones stuck together... you're gonna have 2 pull them apart eventually. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I always go to the back of the store to check out the misc. stuff. Then up front to where all the cookies are. I love the shortbread cookies, and I got one of those and a big canister of mixed cookies.

A visit to Ross in Roanoke Virginia last night and to say that it was dirty nasty is an understatement. Everything was on the floor shelves down and cloths hangers where everywhere. I spoke to an associate about the condition of the store and she looked at me as if it didn’t matter and she could care less I am done will not ever shopping at that nasty place again. Go where ever you have to do go shop but not go into the Ross location in Roanoke Virginia it’s a great place to fall n get hurt

We usually love ROSS. but this one is a little in disarray . Things were laid all over the store. U could find one shoe and never the other. We love shopping at ROSS but like it a bit more organized.

This store in doing a great job and turning around messy store. Understand they have a new manager. Place is now clean, less clutter ( some is needed for stocking) . Long lines were moved quickly with pleasant cashiers. Guessing it has to do with new store manager being supportive of the staff.

This a typical ross store. The store did have a fair amount of clothing but wasn't much bigger than the one in lynchburg

I love this store. So many deals on anything you can think of. From clothes, to a tool set.Last time to the store I found several jackets, top brands for 25 bucks!? That's a steal.

I will never forget the experience I had at this Ross about 3 years ago. We had left the house late that morning and my children had a dentist appointment. Ross was our last stop. The timing of visiting this store must have been impeccable because we met a lady there who was so kind. She was older with blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She talked with us about how prices had gone up. She helped me with my children and told them to always listen. After our conversation we turned to continue shopping and my youngest son swore she was an angel and that he saw her fly away. Lol. I looked behind me and she wasn't there. I looked around and didn't see her anywhere in sight. We finished up our shopping and got to the front counter. I guess I was having buyers remorse because I started to put some items to the side. All of a sudden I told the cashier "Just ting it all up, I know God will provide." She rang it all up and before I could pay, the woman appeared behind me, gently moving my hand out of the way, she paid for all of the items. Stephanie. Stephanie was her name. I will never forget the day that we met an angel unaware at Ross. God is forever on time! Trust Him and He will lead you to where you need to be and right on time.

VERY disappointed. I realize with the shortage of employees things are tough but I was shopping in this store yesterday and it was just simply ridiculous! Not sure of the details but the lady in line in front of me walked up to a register & the what I aaume to be a manager of some type, pulled a shopping cart packed full of already bagged items up to the cashier.. They pulled out each item & rang it up..... The other registure was busy with a return.... My issue is why couldn't the manager take these matter to the service desk and handle them instead of standing there handing each item to the cashier? Did it really require 2 people to do what the cashier normally does? Is that not what managers do? I was tired of waiting in line for over 20 mins. so I ended up just leaving my items and shopping other stores.... Check your camers to see what a long line & wait there was bc of this issue. You might want to get a new definition to "managing" before you loose too many customers.

Went there Saturday at 130. Friend had told me they had a nice selection of Plus Size clothing. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Ended up buying 1 top for work. Not crazy about it, but it will do.

One of my favorite stores!!! The best designer names more than half off the retail price...Rated four stars instead of five because there is never enough Customer Service on the weekends. I have never had anyone to ask me if I need some assistance and there are never more than two cashiers on a consistent basis.

I haven't been able to find anything I super love recently, but prices are pretty good for certain things. Make sure you do your returns within the designated return period and have your receipt. otherwise your purchase may plummet in value. I had a nightgown set that didn't fit (was a gift) and was offered $0.49 store credit, down from $9.99.

I think every time I have been in here they change the layout of their merchandise. 😂 It’s usually well stocked, though, unless it’s after a holiday, and they have a nice variety of things. The cashiers and workers are really sweet, too.Edit 2021: This place is a literal disaster now! So messy and not worth shopping at.
