I love this store! They have such a variety of things with excellent prices. It's very close and convenient to my work so I go on my lunch break. However, lately (more than once) I've had to put everything in my cart back because there is only one cashier with a long, long line of customers waiting to check out. So disappointing!! I hope they hire some help soon.

I grew up shopping at Roses, so I am very glad that we now have this one in Roanoke. I have always been able to find exactly what I was was looking for. The prices are unbeatable, too, which is important to me and my budget. The employees are helpful and pleasant, as well. Wish we had more locations around the region!

Great place to find brand names and off brand items. Excellent prices too! I found an off brand dress and hat that matches for July 4th-- $15. for both, also a brand name wireless comfort bra for a dollar. Picked up a couple of food items to take back to the hotel an only spent about 20 bucks total.The cashier was excellent, gave me great directions to a couple of places and was very friendly.One star off because of all the hangars and other things in the floor, but I will go back for sure. Rose's always has an interesting mix of things to buy.

I know this is a discount store with good prices, but that doesn't mean we have to settle for clutter in the aisles and messy racks. Things are out of place and just all around unorganized. The music on the p.a system is too loud and makes my head hurt. Most of the women's merchandise is just plain ugly. I'll go to Cato from now on.

Love this former Maxway store. I remember when Bedford , Va. had a full size Roses and i bought my first home and bought most all my housewares from Roses.Love the Old Dominion Peanut bars made in Norfolk Va and difficult to find anywhere else.

I use to love going to this store. I'm not sure what's going on but the store was trashed & the cashier was absolutely one of the rudest people I've ever encountered! Corporate office really needs to pay this place a visit.

Rude people working here. Store is an absolute mess. I heard a casher bitching about customers not taking the carts back outside, and how it wasnt her job. Never going back in there again.Going to Gabe's from now on.

Today I attempted to locate an item within the Roanoke store unfortunately I never found anything near what I wanted and several times found myself moving boxes of product just to maneuver the aisles this was very difficult as I am handicap and very unsteady on my feet, I did find some reduced items and waited in line 15 minutes until I became frustrated and left my items I selected and departed the store without purchasing anything!

Waited 20 minutes to check out, 2 people ahead of me, just one cashier. After 25 minutes just left, did not make purchase. Sales associates, not helpful. Will take my business elsewhere.
