Went in today to purchase a few pounds of ground lamb. Their meat is always fresh, and most importantly halal. The store is immaculate, and the staff is always friendly, and polite. This is my preferred halal market in the area.

Needed specialty spices for a dish I want to try. I received excellent service and found several ingredients. Also tried several sweets from their bakery case which were delicious. Before I left I was offered a complimentary item to try from their menu. I will definitely be going back!

This store is nice, clean, and stocked with a good variety of food and other items. The selection of freshly made sweets are amazing, and their meat prices are good. The employees are so friendly and I'm really happy they have opened, since the other stores that sell halal meat are on the other side of town.

What a gem! This store has everything your looking for for middle eastern cuisine. From sweets to teas and coffee, herbs and even a butcher. Very clean store and friendly, welcoming staff that will help you with any questions. The food they have is also absolutely delicious. So happy to have them available here in Roanoke!

This place is phenomenal. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, the in-house baked goods are delicious, and they offer affordable prices on hard to find Levantine and Middle Eastern grocery items, as well as international imported goods. There are plenty of options for all dietary needs, with an exceptional variety of vegan groceries. They also have cheeses, dairy, and a butcher in the back corner. I couldn't be more pleased to have found this hidden gem.

Super friendly staff, and awesome home made meals and treats. You can't find such a wide variety of spices anywhere else, and they're priced very reasonably. They also give back to the community! This place is true gem, can't wait to go back.

The team at Roanoke Grocery Market could not have been more delightful and helpful. Upon receiving other stellar reviews, I called from California to have food prepared for a local family. They took great care in helping me select the food, prepare it beautifully, and then even deliver it to the recipients with a nice note. I got true VIP treatment all along the way. And the food was delicious! When I am in town next, I look forward to stopping in to extend my gratitude in person. You have brought a real gem to the Roanoke community, Roanoke Grocery Market!

Got the daily special.. chicken & rice.... the chicken was well seasoned and moist .. the rice was very flavorful... oh .. I also received a small toss salad with a homemade vinaigrette.. sooo yummy may I say it was delicious!!! And I'm kinda picky about my chicken... please go check them out!!

Roanoke Grocery Market is truly an asset to Roanoke. You will find products here that are only found in large city specialty markets. The employees are superb, the baked goods and prepared foods are delicious and the butcher shop is full of great finds! Butcher Mohammad is a very nice man and seems take so much pride in his work and pleasing the customers.This new Roanoke market is a must stop and shop!! Prices are excellent too!

Wonderful grocery with wonderful staff! They had an excellent selection of unique items. Very clean and friendly staff. Great place for getting ingredients like Sumac, Zaatar, and Labneh!Haven’t tried ordering prepared food from them yet, but the pictures they post on their Instagram look stunning!

They was supposed to have Chicken Biryani today for special but instead they had lamb liver. I tried it but I just had liver a couple days ago so it wasn't that interesting to me, hopefully tomorrow they will have the Chicken Biryani, but overall it was still very good.
