Don't go here for a quick bite on your lunch break unless you want to go back to work hungry and disappointed. Due to a poorly staffed deli department, no sandwiches were available- and the one person there had absolutely no interest in slapping one together for me when I asked about it.I spoke briefly with the manager, Ray. Guy was very quick to make excuses for the stores shortcomings, but couldn't offer a single solution. No accountability from the leadership here, it's really no wonder why they're short staffed.

I spend a lot of money at this store. There is usually no one to help and there may have been one time my pick up order was right. Today I got rotten tomatoes and my avocados are all mushy. They need to teach there employees better! Of course when you call no one answers. I work 3 jobs and can’t make it to get a refund.

I dealt with Bonsack Kroger for years. Purchased a home and transferred my scripts to Walgreens but they didn't accept my insurance. I learned that after the fact. So, I asked Walgreens to send my scripts to Kroger near Sam's. That Kroger couldn't find my meds. Then my husband decided to have that Kroger send to Hollins Kroger pharmacy. Some of my prescriptions lost the refills in cyberspace I guess.I called to get a refill and had to discuss why/how my refills were lost??? The female tech literally hung up on me.I'm the one suffering but the empathy was absent. Lord help me.

Cashier Jackie was great. The people in produce and dairy were all so very helpful. The employees make this place wonderful.

I have been a loyal shopper at this Kroger for 20 years. Within the last few years EVERYTHING about this store has DECLINED. When walking into the store you are greeted with the smell of cigarette smoke from employees smoking at a picnic table just outside the doors. The store is dirty (carts with items piled up beside the doors, things on top of the ice coolers, dirty floors, dirty carpets in the entrance, the self check out registers are nasty) and has an overall foul stench throughout the store. The quality of the produce and meats have dramatically declined over the past few years. The pharmacy staff is always friendly but the lines are frequently very long and the app to view/refills prescriptions is very antiquated. There is never anyone at customer service and the light is always off. There are a few career employees who are very helpful and friendly. There were younger individuals who were chatting away at the front of the store. I didn’t not even know they were employees until one finally came over to assist me. Then I saw a small name tags pinned to his t-shirt. I was never greeted by him rather he just started entering numbers on the screen and walked away. This store is located within close proximity to several other grocery stores which has made it very convenient for me to take my business elsewhere. There I am greeted and offered assistance by staff - who are easily identifiable by their neat uniforms, shelves are stocked, and I don’t have to hold my breathe during my doing my shopping.

This particular location is okay. It's not as clean and organized as other locations but I think it's because it's not as big and has less employees. That's just my observation. But regardless, I still shop there on occasion.

This store is going downhill and fast! The condition of the floors are horrible. I haven’t had a decent shopping cart in my last 10 trips. There are no small carts anymore. Prices are too high. You can’t get down the aisles because of employees stocking shelves or Click List shoppers. I stop in there for 1 or 2 items when I have to but I have taken my business elsewhere!

I do everything possible to avoid KROGER because of the way they treat their customers. They have no customer service, their lines are long, and employees could care less about the job . I've taken away 99 percent of my grocery shopping from kroger and now use Food Lion .

I'm done with buying meat from this store. Just went to fix dinner and pulled out the beef (pictured) only to find that even though today is August 7, and the sell date for the beef is tomorrow, it's gone completely bad. The picture doesn't even do it justice - it looks even more gray and disgusting in real life. This is the third time this has happened to me over the past couple of months. The meat looks good when you buy it but after a couple of days in the refrigerator it turns into trash.

I'm not sure what has happened to the pharmacy here but so rude. What happened to Carrie? I know times are tough and employees are hard to get but there's no sense in an employee saying "have a good day or not".

Seems to be a problem with some attitudes and common sense…. Very immature vibe some of the time… some of these folks are great….. the older gentleman manager that wears a polo and is always organizing during the day, the folks that stock at night, and most of the cashiers are a pleasure to deal with…. There is a hand full that that act like you're an inconvenience and act miserable…. I’m sorry but this is your job. If you don’t like it, then maybe go be miserable somewhere else… good help is hard to find and the store must operate, so I’m empathetic. One more note to add, if the sale by date is today and its 2 hrs to close and all that meet is gonna be thrown out that same night, there should be no issue with giving an extra mark down. Its been done religiously by EVERY employee for years…. Not today tho…Nobody wants to buy food that expires the same day unless you’re gonna freeze meat….. even a small markdown out of good faith would be nice….again Ive been doing this for years but was shut down today out of the blue…this along with other issues of late made me feel a review was warranted… I hope it helps

Young kids working... you ask them to bag your groceries lightly & they don't do it. They have a bad attitude as well & like to make faces when they think you aren't looking. Plus, they just don't know how to bag... cold items go with other cold items & not with bananas & other fruits & vegetables!!! I've complained numerous times & management does NOTHING!!!

I have been a loyal customer of Kroger for over 20 years.Today will be my last time shopping at Kroger. An item had the wrong price tag on ( as in printed wrong) and when I questioned why my item came up wrong. I was told too bad guess you should have looked at our ads closer. What happened to honoring incorrect price tags. The price tag had the exact item on and sku number just a different price than what rang up. When inquired had they gotten rid of their policy to honor those things, I was accused of just wanting something for free. Poor service!!!!!!!

Worst Kroger and that's saying a lot.Kroger, of course, has the highest prices and their sales are not great.But then this one is smaller than most and the parking lot is probably the worst possible design you could fit in the space available.There used to be a food lion nearby and for the life of me I can't figure out why people shopped here instead of that food lion which eventually closed.I live less than a mile from this Kroger and I will drive to the food lion or Walmart neighborhood market by plantation/Hershberger if I can.

Produce department stock is always low, floors look dirty every time we go. Staffed meat case closes before dinner time. Shelves are faked out to look full by sliding neighboring products over to fill holes. Products empty for weeks, they say they can’t get the product, yet other Kroger locations get the same products regularly. Getting tired of having to drive to three different Kroger/grocery stores every week just to find staple items. I would not be heartbroken if they closed this store. It’s old and disgusting anyway.

Nice little store, but since that stupid bag tax went into effect in the city, people drive a little farther to the county. That unfortunately means "our Kroger" lol is way busier than usual & fewer mark downs. Bummer right?The reason I took away a star is because they always have their big carts blocking the aisles like they are stocking yet their shelves are so bare all the time. 🤷Friendly employees for the most part though.

Your typical grocery store. Some employees are friendly, and some don't seem to care.When it comes to the pickup, it's very convenient. However, one time there was one employee that didn't wear a face mask. I guess you could say he wore a chin diaper.

The pharmacy was very helpful and polite in helping to update my insurance information, and my current address and phone number, since it has been almost 6 years since I used this particular pharmacy. I made store purchases as well, and the cashier and bagger were very nice and sociable, and even asked if I needed help with getting my purchases to my car, even though it was only 4 bags.

They have the attitude that you need them more than they need you. If you speak up,they act as if you’re in the wrong.Management makes excuses,lack of help for poor service,attitude.Real problem is greed. They won’t spend the money to hire the right people and train them to be professional and efficient.It’s not just Kroger,it’s nearly all retail today.Aldi is the absolute gold standard for a quality experience and respectable customer service. They do not have self service check out lines where you have to stand n line to wait on yourself.Once they become full service,with deli,pharmacy….etc,they will force everyone else out of the grocery store business.

Always clean and almost always well-stocked. Great selection. No negative interactions with any employees. Everyone is always nice, friendly and helpful.Had one instance right before the holidays where we bought eggnog that turned out to be expired by over a month. Next time we went there was new, unexpired eggnog in stock. Was a little nasty, but hasn't been repeated, so just chalking it up to honest mistake on a less popular product.

I love the selection and variety at Kroger! The prices are good on most things, they've recently lowered all prices when they did away with "Senior Day." Getting fuel points and discounts at the gas pump are a huge plus! Managers always friendly.

Poor customer service in Pharmacy - rude and not helpful at all - immature staffing who cannot give information in an adult way ! Website indicates it opens at 8:30 and this is incorrect spoke with a girl who just kept repeating a stupid answer over and over and said Pharmacist doesnt take calls till after 9 AM ! nice that his work wife protects him from the public !!!!! i am so fed up with attitudes and inaccurate management and they do not carry the meds that we need !!!!! Store manager did not even know the hours !

Good selection, friendly, laid out pretty well. Very, very impressed that some of the products I've asked for they have started to carry. Produce section is quite good. Great sales. I think the only complaints I have are self-checkout staff and deli/bakery staff. Self checkout staff are only friendly about half the time. Otherwise, they range from airheaded to grumpy to occasionally downright rude. The deli and bakery staff are severely understaffed to the point that there is frequently no one at all at the bakery and only 1-2 people in the deli. The people who get sent to the bakery after the real couple bakers leave are entirely clueless, the actual bakers seem perpetually harried and annoyed, they frequently run out of roast chickens and are too understaffed to make more, plus the sandwich counter is almost never able to make sandwiches to order because they lack the manpower.

While Krogers in general tend to be nice with helpful staff, the employees here are always polite and welcoming. It just feels like a great place to shop and you get the idea they actually enjoy working there. I use them a couple times a week for small stuff. It's easy to get in and out of and usually it's a quick trip.

if i could give this review 0 stars i most definitely would. there is absolutely no help. every time i come into the store they have NO staff. the produce section is terrible, along with the mold that comes in it. the deli is absolutely disgusting and never clean.

Very friendly staff in pharmacy but phone lines in general for this location is AWFUL! Many many times I've called to check on a prescription and I'm told I'm being transferred and then there is nothing. NO connection at all. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!!

I did fine today at this location. But, it's not my fav to visit. There's a 'not nice' butcher I avoid ! Could not find a dozen eggs with a decent expiration date, passed. On a good note, the produce dept has kicked it up a notch. Can you please get Breyers Delights ??
