Clean store, well laid out. The problem I have is that they label different things as "Buy 3", and it means you have to buy 3 of that one item. When you "Buy 5", you can buy any 5 items on that list of multiple items. Shouldn't the same rules apply??? They don't! I put all the items back that were "Buy 3" because they each had to be purchased in multiples of 3, even though it says "mix and match"!!!

Mandy at the Florist Center is amazing!!!! She not only fit me and my date in last minute for a corsage and bouttinere, but also customized them in order to fit the colors of our outfits. On top of all this, her customer service was through the roof and she was the sweetest worker in the building❤️10/10

I like the lay out, they keep it clean, the staff are friendly and I see a lot of good team work between the staff and leadership. They're always very kind and patient with me at self checkout. There's another Kroger closer to me but I will still drive to this one for my big grocery day because of being more reliable with having everything on the shelf.

Cave Spring Corners location:"Wore a mask, as many shoppers did, and felt safe. Browsed produce, and noted some disorganized areas, but there were multi Valentine floral arrangements, which made the area look festive and colorful. Noted many empty shelves in select areas such as cat food, canned beans, orange juice and some frozen foods. All associates noted were very busy stocking, pushing huge carts of boxed foods or shopping pick ups, working at check outs, bringing in carts etc. An overall increase in food prices was noted, but using coupons and shopping weekly deals eased the price tag a little. Meat area, bakery, and wine areas were busy, but nicely organized and clean. Used self check out and a friendly masked associate was very helpful when needed. I had a pleasant shopping experience!9/15/22Shopped today at Cave Spring Corners Kroger for a few items. Most areas I shopped were nicely stocked and generally organized. Prices on everything were sky high, as at all groceries currently. I used self check out and the employee supervising the area probably thought she was being helpful, but approached me twice when I needed no assistance. A little bothersome. I noted she was interacting with many shoppers, so I'm assuming they needed assistance, but I did not see anyone call her over. Store was clean and floral outside area was beautiful with fall mums. Added pictures of ceramic pumpkins and mum's on sale!‼️11/20/22(I would leave no stars if I could!)I had the worst experience today EVER in any Kroger store! I went to the customer service desk and nicely inquired about getting a free deli chicken coupon, as it was 11:20am and the promotional sign noted a free chicken if none were available by 11am. The associate in CS rudely responded "we don't do that anymore!" I noted what the promotional signs on both sides of the display advertised. The CS associate then lost any patience or cordiality she might have had, while loudly stating the signage should not be up, and was wrong, and continued to berate me. I responded quietly "Customer no service" as I walked away while she angrily left the desk and began walking around the deli and bakery area, but spoke to no one. I felt totally humiliated. I would love to discuss this with Kroger management. Please respond if you read this.Note: 9 months later and no response from Kroger.2/5/23Signage about free chicken' if none available 11am-7pm, is STILL up! So, of course, I inquired at customer service when none was available around 3pm. And of course, I was told they no longer "do that". CS could not answer when I inquired as to why other Krogers do it, or why signage is still up. She spoke to deli associate, who grumpily brought out some chicken, making a loud sound as he threw it out on the warmer for sale. I left the area.August 2023I noticed that all Krogers have changed their signage regarding the free chicken offer. Case of policy change before sign promotion change, which is hard on customers

Today I was racially profiled and harassed. While doing a large instacart order I had a woman named Sandy come and violate my space. she also took it upon herself to touch my personal belongings. Sandy was very condescending and disrespectful. Alongside that I also explained to Sandy while she was violating my personal space of she felt as if I was a thief she was welcomed to watch me check out from a distance. She ignored me and continued to handle my personal items and not distance herself. I have tried to contact corporate and the store with nothing being handled. She made my shopping experience degrading and embarrassing. I am extremely discouraged from shopping with Kroger.

I always shop here and that’s not the issue. My daughter’s class (local to this store), is building an igloo as a 1st grade project out of recycled gallon jugs. I asked if this store would let me come pick up the gallons they pour out once expired so I can donate them to our school, and the manager told me, “no, I don’t have time for that. We just dump them out and throw them away”. What a terrible response to helping out your local 1st graders with their big school project. I live across the street and could’ve easily picked all of them up any time, any day. One more reason to shop at the new Publix being built down the street!

This is one of my main grocery stores. Usually well stocked with competitive prices; you can find the weekly specials very good but soda wars between the rivals produce occasional bargains.

Every time I have been here the people are so nice and the pickup people always get your order right and are so great to deal with. The Kroger down the street is horrible! Go to this Kroger!

Just wanted to say a special thanks to Jennifer. I have seen her doing multiple jobs, front customer service counter, cashier and today 8 26 2023 pushing a bucket with a mop in it to make a clean up. Please please tell her about this. Because i feel like we all need some extra appreciation for a job well done. We are all and have always been in this together. Each playing our part. May we all continue to endure discovering all The Father Jehovah above and Jesus Christ's real love with the nudging of His comforter, The Holy Spirit, what HE created EACH of us to be. This location is chronically understocked. Shelves are often empty. The selection is not the greatest either, you're not going to find much of a variety of ethnic foods for example.The prices may be good but I'd spend an extra few dollars for better variety.Update: at this point it seems it's well known that Kroger leaves a lot to be desired after hearing the same sentiment from others.Word has it there's a Publix coming though!

My disabled husband was trying to get us a few groceries and was doing his best to get us the cheapest price because we are struggling financially. Someone from the store called the Roanoke police because my husband was taking too long in the store. I'm sorry, when was there a limit on the amount of time you can spend in the grocery store?! I will be contacting local news outlets about how my disabled husband was was basically pushed out of the store and we weren't able to get anything we needed because someone thought he was "taking too long". Good job, Kroger......NEVER will I step foot in here again. Our poor, poor, disabled people are apparently on a time limit in Kroger, and if they are too slow, the employees call the police. NICE, NOT!!!! I bet my lawyer would LOVE this case, and I will be calling him

I’ve now been waiting AN HOUR for click list. I’ve watched numerous cars come and go. In speaking with staff, I’m told “I’m working on it.” What’s the point of picking up your groceries if you have to wait a solid hour to get them? I could have gone in and gotten them myself by now. If I could give less than one star, I would. But, here I sit. Ridiculous. Ridiculous!!

The store is always clean. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It's busy around 5-6p. The best times to go are around 12-3p. It's usually calm, and you don't have to feel rushed or like a part of a circus.

I wish I had taken pictures of this place. This Kroger was dressed to impress when I visited the other day. Everything was stocked, well marked and organized and clean over the top. Upon checking out. I complemented the cashier and she informed me.” oh yes that’s because vice president is coming in today.” ha ha he should visit every day!!

I have shopped at Kroger all over the US. My home is in Arizona. I have even recently purchased KR stock in my 401K portfolio. Visiting Roanoke. And this store? Is poorly managed with awful staff service. It is also very dirty. The most important areas all need a thorough cleaning. Deli floors, counter and glass filthy. No wipe downs in meat section. Staff here? Are unhappy and the most unfriendly and right up there to the border RUDE. Corporate? I hope you are seeing this review and investigate why your standards are so poor at this location. Also, investigate why your employees are lathargic, don't want to serve people and don't have a kind bone in their body. Fix it.

This store seriously lacks customer service. Spoke with the store manager and he couldn’t come up with a solution to my problem. He told me I was on my own and put money right before the holidays. Being a store manager is all about customer service, being able to think on your feet, and multitasking. I would say this manager is unable to do all of those. I would recommend to drive the extra 5 mins to the store down the road. Their customer service is amazing.

The store itself was good. I didn't have a lot of interaction with employees but almost everyone was smiling or looked pleasant. Overall they had a good selection for groceries and their restrooms were clean so I'd go back.

One of the better Krogers in the area. Kind staff, usually short checkout times, and clean. Highly recommend. It also features bakery, deli, pharmacy, and a large selection of greeting cards.

This store always has stock issues. Lots of bare shelves. Once I walked in and the entire produce sections was practically empty: I just walked out. This is not supply chain issues either because if you go to the other Kroger right down the road (Brambleton or Tanglewood) they have everything you need. Avoid.

The woman covering guest service during the week lacks the speciality of customer service. She was rude to both me and my friend. I do hope genuinely that one day she is in severe need of help one day and gets the same treatment she gave to us.P.S. We are all short staffed. I work in healthcare and would never once say to someone “you can come by if you want to, but I can’t help.” I would have taken a number to call back if I was stuck on a register, and btw have been before, and couldn’t help in the moment. I never tell my patients, or families, that I just cannot help them right now.

I want to recognize Mary in the Deli Department. She helped with my Thanksgiving Dinner order for my family. She was extremely helpful and very friendly.When I went to pick up my dinner on Thanksgiving Day I forgot my receipt. You are supposed to bring it with you when you prepay. She remembered me and said if I should have any problems at check out for cashier to call back to Deli department.She is an asset to your Kroger Store!Thank you Mary for your friendliness and kindness..it wasn’t unrecognized!
