House of Paws is hands down the best place in Roanoke to get your dog groomed. The ladies are the sweetest and it is very one on one type of grooming. I would never feel safe bringing my dog anywhere but here to get groomed. House of Paws is the best. They care about not only the customers but also the well-being of your furry friends. I highly, highly, recommend.

We found Erica when many other places closed because of the beginning of the pandemic. She picked probably the worst time ever to start a new business. It has been a pleasure to be a customer and watch her business grow. Erica does such a great job with our Goldendoodle. We have recommended several neighbors and friends.

This was a fantastic experience. The shop was clean, and not over crowded. It was really nice to not have to worry about 5 other dogs in the space. Erica got me in on short notice and when I arrived she was immediately attentive to my dog and I. The grooming service was excellent and my dog looked and smelled fantastic when she was finished. She even noticed he need his nails needed trimming and did that at no cost. Overall this was one of the best dog grooming places I have been. 10/10 would recommend and will be returning. Thanks Erica!!

I am so glad I found Erica again! She has been grooming my pup for several years now, but I lost touch with her earlier this year when she stopped working where I used to take my pup. I was so happy to learn that she had opened her own grooming salon!! I know my dog loves her, because he is just as happy going in as he is coming out! She does an amazing job, but the real reason we go to her is the confidence we have in her. I have some special grooming issues and she remembers them every time. Her memory is amazing! When I drop off my pup, I like to talk to the person that is actually going to do the work, so there is nothing lost in relaying a message. When my pup gets his summer shave, there is never a nick or a hair out of place. He is perfect every time, and he smells so good too! Erica's new shop is conveniently located at Brandon and Brambleton - easy in and out. The salon is sooo cute, extremely clean and organized. She is not only good with animals, but she has a green thumb too, as you can see in her lush green lobby. I highly recommend her for your pup's grooming!! Professional, easy to talk to, great listener, gentle with your baby, speedy service, superior finished product - everything I look for in a great groomer!!

My husband called in today to make appointment for my dog. She asked him to wait and forgot to put him on hold, he can hear her cursing him very badly on the phone because we forgot our appointment last time which rarely occurs to us because they always call you one day ahead to remind you. That was our first time we missed our appointment.This time they didn’t call and remind you. We’ve been here for many times and groomer is always nice up front. We always tipped them very well because they do good jobs. Just to make sure next time you really put somebody on hold and they can’t hear you.

Found Erica (House of Paws) through a friend when we needed someone to groom our dog and our usual place was booked. She is our groomer now. Does a better job than our last place and is flexible and takes the best care of our dog. I highly recommend her and support her business.

What a great dog grooming experience! I have a large hound who absolutely hates baths, but the team at House of Paws was so patient and kind with him! He came out so soft and clean. It is clear that they love their work and treat every pet as their own. I'll be coming back!

After being loyal customers for 1.5 years, owner has completely ceased correspondence with us. Phone calls are not returned and we have been left on read on social media at least 3 times.It’s ok if your schedule is full but please respect your clientele enough to inform us of the matter

I took my St. Bernard there a few months ago and they did great. He is hard to get into the tub because he is scared to jump in, but they got him and they did great. Took him back 11/20/21 for his follow up and wasn’t gone but 5 min and got a call back saying she couldn’t get him in and that it wasn’t fair to him or her and had me pick him . I did ask her how he got in the tub the last time and she stated she got him in . So basically I felt that she didn't want to do it at all. Will not be going back . I do advise anyone who has a big dog and doesn’t like getting into the tub do not take your pet here. They can’t accommodate big dogs. My St. Bernard will be going to a facility that can accommodate big dogs.

So glad I went there. Erica was so helpful and friendly. After I picked my dog up and paid 2 days later she called me to let me know that she accidentally over charged me and that she will be more the happy to refund me the money or credit me the account and I love how honest she was because I never noticed because most other places charged me what I had paid originally paid but it needed up being less will different my using her from now on 10 out of 10
