We placed a huge catering order for our wedding last weekend. Almost 200 pieces of chicken, 5 fruit platters, 4 vegetable platters, and 3 sandwich platters. Everything was wonderful and ready on time, (even though we were late). Staff was so courteous. Thank you so much for helping us make our day special!

Honestly the store was nice and clean but our cashier was rude as all get out. I had already had a rough day, I came in with my husband to get some quick essentials and when I got to the express lane the cashier was so rude. She didn't say anything until it got to the bagging stage, I was trying to be nice and told her I didn't mind bagging my stuff because I'm sure she's had a rough day too dealing with people and she snaps back at me "do you want paper or plastic?". So rude, so unbelievably rude. I didn't catch her name, but she's an older black lady with very short hair and kind of heavy set. I will never return to this location. I work very hard for my money and I won't just give my money to a store that lets their employees talk to customers that way.

I stop by this location on the way home from work. It's smaller than a few of the stores I prefer, but the people are always nice and the store is clean! I wish there was a touch more to their produce department, but they have an amazing gluten free section so the trade off is worth it!

Unlike other grocery stores this one will always have a bunch of employees working the registers. Plus they don't allows customers to work there part time as cashiers lol in other words no self checkoutI like the fact that you could see your vehicle when you're in most parts of the store due to the huge window that covers the entire front of the store.

Can't believe I'm leaving a review for a grocery store but never going back to this place. The employees are typically terrible and talk about inappropriate things but today takes the cake when they were discussing dead babies in front of everyone. I don't know who the manager is but you need to fire every teenager youhave working there.

The store is very nice!. As soon as I entered, I noticed how exceptionally, neat and well-placed everything is. The produce was nicely arranged, all of it was fresh and crisp looking. There's a great variety of things to be had there! I've been there three different times and each time, the employees are busy, stocking and keeping things in order. They seem to have a great deal of energy and enthusiasm, actually. The personnel are all very friendly!It's not just because my neighbor and friend"Peanut" works there that I write this glowing report, either! Lol. I always give people, who do a good job, positive feedback. it's very important for morale. People need to hear the good feedback. people are always quick to write the negative but it's just enhances one self-esteem to get a nice word every now and then! They r very friendly people I went in today to grab a few things and they did not seem so friendly I was told my total or did not see it. Also I was not given a receipt and it had my card number etc. Was really disappointed today was 4/6/23 but yet I will keep the rating.

This is my neighborhood store. Very neat, great employees, and customer focused.What I like the most about Food Lion is the fact that the people who work there are not only Friendly, but also recognize the regulars, such as myself. Because I shop there often I also benefit from the shop and earn loyalty club. For real, I love this grocery store

If it's the Food Lion on Corner of Peter's Creek and Shenandoah they have rude staff members. If Radford, Pulaski, or the two in Christiansburg they are all 5 stars for staff cleanliness and full shelves. That other one though.... IT IS TERRIBLE

I’ve been coming to this store since I was a kid and of course things change some of the people still work there from when I was a kid… with that being said the new younger and a couple older workers have became irritated by the fact they have to work here. It’s only one lane open and it’s express the older lady mentioned that it’s a express line & I replied your the only line open with my basket full of market I just made. They take 7-10 mins to open another register mins u it’s several store associates that’s just lingering around the shelves and one lady walking away with a drawer as if she was going to to count it and then open another lane which didn’t happen by the time my order was rang up. also I would like to add they call another older lady to open a register but she agains turns on the express instead of full service ???? These people don’t care to work here or care to give customer services respectfully.

Excellent store. FL's are always so clean and organized. They had a decent meatless selection in there, too. Although competitors are more convenient to me, I'll need to check it out again more thoroughly.

I was at the Food Lion on Peters Creek today at 12:00am the cashier told me to not give her the items on top of my cart. She want the items on the bottom of cart first she said or she can come around and get the bottom items first.Now I'm trying to figure out when do they get the right to tell you that you can't put your items from your cart the way you want to put them.They need to put the items they want to put them ,because management complaint about them missing items on the bottom of the cart .So I've decided , now I'm going to try to do my best to go elsewhere to make my groceries that Food Lion don't bag your groceries you got to pay for a bag you can load your groceries on the lines. I am done..... Bagging your own items Can put the item on the front line the way you want to. Paying for bags. SAD way talk to customers.

The Food Lion I went to was bright and cheerful with everything I needed to make a delicious dinner of tacos for two. I especially their taco seasoning. It had a real kick to it and their ground beef was fresh and the price was reasonable. It was 2.99 a pound. I especially liked that the meat had been packaged that day. The checkout was reasonably fast. I really enjoyed my trip to Food Lion.

This might be quite the silly review however I normally shop at Kroger's but they have not had the bread that I like. When I went into Food Lion they had plenty of the bread that I like and everybody was super friendly and most helpful

I went to this food lion at 4 pm today, 8 had my groceries which were 23 dollars and change, the machine wouldn't take my debit card because it didnt have a chip! The 2 black cashiers could have cared less and you could tell it! Wouldn't even ask a manager and no apology!! Sorry customer service! Going to Kroger now!

No one to help handicap shoppers a lot of young students walking around or outside and all the lines are backed up .the one on Peter Creek shelves ate empty no matter if the truck had run 😡 or not . Shenandoah store is muvk larger and cleaner and shelves .The Electricroad. Store will help you to load your groceries and will take the groceries of the cart and put on counter to be scan .Peter's creek is closes to me than to drive to a better service

Everyone was so friendly and when I needed help getting 2 oranges cause they were to close to the grapefruits. I am highly allergic to grapefruit. So I want to say thank you Food Lion for caring about your customers.
