My go to for years! Good prices, great selection and customer service! As much as groceries cost now, it's nice to have a store with actual cashiers, always people in the store to help you . Their night shift could use a little more customer service. Mostly teens who are more interested in socializing with each other and playing on their phone.

The Food Lion on Plantation Road NE is Wonderful! The staff is quick to help if needed. The shelves are well stocked and the store is clean. We recently moved and the Food Lion on Bennington in SE was our go-to. I do NOT miss it at all! Dirty, disarrayed shelves, and the employees either seemed too tired to even smile much less speak, or had an attitude like they were being bothered by having to ring up the groceries. And the managers who changed every other week were worse than the cashiers. If possible avoid this store. Go to the Food Lion on Plantation Road NE.

The store is really clean on the inside, the staff is nice and well maintained, and they've got pretty awesome prices on their store-brand sodas. Their flavors are pretty sweet too (check out their flavored ice-cream sandwiches!!)! It's also easier to exit the parking lot from the Food Lion side now.

Very clean and nicely stocked. Just wish my cashier had been a little more plugged in. No interaction at all ... she actually turned her back on me after handing me my receipt and left me to finish reaching for my bagged groceries to put in my cart. Didnt expect a thank you. Didn't get one.

Very bad customer service. Employee I sad hello to. Went off on me. Yelling at me. Though I was going to give her a death treat or hurt her. I was only saying hi. Very embarrassing. Manager said he would write her up. Not good enough. I will not be shopping there anymore. All the Employees and customers saw this.

Went to pick up a few things tonight, ice was one of them. This very helpful and outgoing young man named Cole went right over to get my ice for me and made my long day much better by complementing my hair and being so awesome. He is definitely an asset to the store!!!

This location stays pretty busy. It is across the street from one of the neighborhood Walmarts. Considering how busy they are most of the time the cashiers seem efficient and I usually am not in line that long.

They do an AMAZINGLY AMAZING job on the canes they make I had them make my daughter's 1st birthday cake and it was massively huge and I only paid $50-$55 for it

Usually do not remember to shop on this side of town, but it's always a pleasant experience coming to this Food Lion location. Store is always clean, and the shelves are always stocked. It's worth the drive for me.

Let me tell you about my Food Lion...my Food Lion is awesome. Between the products they stock, the pricing and the people that work there it is all awesome! I'm a new mom and if I had a full cart, whatever line I went to the cashiers would unload my cart for me. They are just wonderful to deal with!!

In this ridiculous day and age of self inflicted supply shortages, its become pretty standard to walk into a store and find an endless supply of bare shelves. Fortunately, Food Lion, or at least this particular one has figured it out! It so refreshing to walk into a grocery and see fully stocked shelves and not have to leave missing half of the list you went to pick up in the first place. That being said, I also don't like going to some of the other grocery chains and being forced to put in all the work to ring up and bag $300 in grocery's while a bunch of paid employees stand around watching. Fortunately, this wont be an issue at this Food Lion either. They gladly open as many registers as needed to accommodate the flow of shoppers……..and would you believe they are actually friendly? Its true! Imagine that!…. Stocked shelves, full service checkouts with friendly service….. A dying breed for sure!

My husband and I were joking around and I told him he was crazy. There was a guy working there that was special needs and I guess they thought we were talking about him. His co workers told us not to be rude and and that the guy had special needs. We tried to explain I wasn't talking to him and then the manager came over and kicked us out.
