First off, this 1 star review should be zero. It is not directed at the staff at this location. It is directed toward their district manager and leadership in northern VA.I visited this store at 4:10 on Wednesday, 1/17. It was soon apparent that their heat was off. I asked when it would be worked on (it was so cold my hands and nose were turning blue during the short time I was there). I was told that home office controls when the heat is turned on. Headquarters is in the same state. They have been in single digit temps inside that building. It is colder than the outside.I tried reaching out to the number the employees gave me. It is the same number they use for issues. I was on hold for 23.48 minutes. Then, I was told by someone I couldn't understand there was nothing she could do about it. She just gave me another number and passed on the problem for someone else.Is this what we have to expect from Family Dollar and more importantly, Dollar Tree Inc?Take care of your employees. They keep the store clean and they're always friendly. They deserve better.

Very clean store and Kelly was so nice. As a manager, Kelly has really stepped up and made that store look better than a lot of the other Family Dollars. I really hope she continues the hard work. It really shows. I believe it is really great to push your cart up and down a clear aisle. It's amazing really. Keep up the fantastic work!

This is a good store. However, the owners of the store do not seem to care about their employees, and exterior cleanliness. They have had a slab of wood in place of one of their doors for months. This store provides tons of service to our community but because of the location they have not fixed the door, it is an eye sore and laughable to others I am sure. They are in our community and willing to do business with us but are not willing to invest in our community by caring for their bldg.

Good location, im on this road alot. Employees are usually friendly. Kinda crowded with boxes in isles. Parking lot really needs to be cleaned up alot of trash around.

This store advertises it hours as 9-9! I was there at 9:45 a.m. this morning , and it was locked up tight! While standing there and looking for a sign that explained, I noted FIVE other people who tried to enter as well. WE ALL LEFT! I had gone out of my way to go this store this morning. Needless, I will NEVER go back to this Family Dollar Store or any other one ever again in my life time! They can kiss my posterior and go to Hades for all I care. We went to Dollar General INSTEAD!

So I walk in looking for two things. They only have one of the two im looking for. Get my Dr pepper on sale 2 for 7, great deal. Wait at counter for some one . Rings up $10.76. wait for the manager for 5 mins . manger said Dr p not on sale. well WHY ARE THEY UNDER THE SIGN THAT SAY 2 FOR 7? His answer its the display.... well move them. waisted 10 min of my life in this place!!!!!

They unlocked the doors late, I went in specifically to get laundry detergent and had a $1.00 off coupon the lady said it didn’t take it, and refused to scan my phone coupon. I then got a laundry bin that said $4 when I got to the register everything came up to $36 I asked how that was she didn’t speak to me she just handed me the recite and refunded me the money. VERY poor business I will not be going back

Family Dollar on Peterscreek Ext. Ugh.....that heavy gray haired pushy and soon as we walked n he come up to my husband ask could he help us find something. He said no browsing... Really no more than we walked n... Then being pushy ask him if he was ready to check out.....ugh....hum...uh... NO I LET U NOW WHEN THE WIFE READY THEN B READY TO CHECKOUT... I SHOULD OF TOLD HIM WHEN WE READY WE WILL GET N TO THE CHECK-OUT. JUST A BIT MUCH... REALLY........ WE WON'T GO BACK TO THAT LOCATION ON THE EXTENSION

very friendly atmosphere except for there was a a customer in there who was irate and cussing and I asked him to please watch his language and then he started cussing me so I did call the police and they were on their way this man was very irate thank you for being open
