Store is under new management. Shelves are full. Associates are nice. Don't judge a cashier as "rude" when in fact he might have special needs and social issues. Plumbing in the mall does cause the store to "close for maintenance " but not as often or for as long as in the past. Stop by and see how things are looking.

This store has really went downhill! You have 4 employees on the clock and two are outside smoking a cigarette gossiping about their job! The store is a mess, there’s empty shelves everywhere and the store needs cleaning! What happened to inventory? I just brought some socks and the cashier was very sweet! Get it together dollar tree, you should look like Vinton and Valley View! They are amazing stores!

The area isn’t true cleanest, but the service makes up for it. The cashiers are so incredibly kind and helped us find exactly what we wanted. They dropped what they were doing to help us and were very welcoming and kind. Would definitely recommend for very basic thing.

The Dollar Tree at 3016 Williamson Rd. was a total nightmare. Most of their Christmas stock was still in unopened boxes piled up in the aisles. I had to go to the Dollar Tree at 7208 Williamson Rd. which was well stocked and very neat.

Love this store, only complaint was I heard a worker on the phone talking to someone who was more worried about people in the parking lot, but my concern would be the trash all over the parking lot.That seems waaay more important than anything else js.I would even pick up the trash and junk in the parking lot each time I swing by.

I'm becoming more disappointed in Dollar Tree. One of the closest stores to my house closed before noon. Another store outside and inside was trashed. With just two people working. Oh, while there, the lights went out. I traveled to another store to find workers everywhere 🙄. So, is one store better than the other because of the location? Are they getting ready for the holidays? Hey, let's raise the prices so we can, do what? Close Dollar Tree? The one store where a fixed income poor person can shop and make purchases of excellent products and have an enjoyable experience. Shame on you.

Store has more selection but there is one particular cashier....younger man who's very very blatantly rude & actually stopped ringing someone up to tell the next customer they could not use the divider stick to separate items telling the lady she better put it back! Yes...really, this happened. Hello...thats what the divider stick is for. Very strange. The cashier then complained about his manager sitting in the back eating & not helping with the long line of customers.***Update on 01/08/24: this store has quickly deterioted! I don't even shop here much anymore. Boxes everywhere all the time in aisles, stock never put up, you have to go to other stores to get anything seasonal. There's never any stock, the store is always dirty & smells strongly of marijuana. The best Dollar Tree in the Roanoke area is over off 220 beside Kohls & Pet Smart. Now that store is always stocked, clean & offers more items than other stores. Valley View store too has gone down hill also. The Hollins store definitely needs new management.

The staff here are great. They are very helpful and polite. The parking lot is well lit. The store was being stocked at the time so a little messy but they kept it as clean as you can when stocking. I recommend coming to this dollar tree.

I love shopping @ $ Tree (or should I say $1.25 Tree). Large variety of merchandise with fair prices. Right now the shelves are a little bit sparse & this location is hiring.

Shelves always empty, boxes stacked up everywhere make it hard to get around with mobility issues. Not wheel chair accessible at all.

Very friendly people! Great selections! But... may we please have all 3 registers open, especially if one register is open with the line all the way down the aisle. The people are very nice though. The store is organized and clean.

It's a nice clean store however, a couple of the employees should SERIOUSLY take a course to refresh their knowledge of customer service and people skills! Then again, there are also a couple of employees there (2 to be exact 😉) that are so enthusiastic every time I shop there and seem happy to help and to their job.

Staff was friendly and treated my 95 year old Mom well. She likes shopping there for greeting cards and party supplies. We also look at the food aisles for the small portion packages she likes.

Have given store several opportunities before rating. Extremely disorganized and have been appalled at how how many times only one lane is open and the lines are 8+deep. Cashier ( Tu-Tu) was doing the best she could with no assistance from anyone.

The manager of this store is straight racist. I saw an African American woman standing outside the store, I asked if they were closed, she said yes! However it was way before 9pm, the manager locks the door so customers can not leave or enter. It was insane. The lady was not causing a scene, she mentioned she had been standing outside for like 30 minutes. There were customers still in the line. Racist situations like this should not be tolerated, however if we (black people) do not complain it will still continue.

I love this place. You can't beat spending a dollar for anything and everything and the selection always has new stuff to choose from. Most of the things are super cute and I find myself asking how some of the items are only a dollar because they don't seem cheap at all.

Dollar Tree in Hollins has friendly, helpful employees, in addition to the thousands of other reasons to visit the store! Inventory is usually fully stocked and items easily found. Always something new to discover.

Store is good and nice but i hate being talked to like im stupid by the cashier Robert he was very disrespectful and i just left all my stuff at the counter and walked out tried to call and complain about it to bad no one will even pick up the phone never coming back to this location again hope you lose your job ROBERT because you don't have customer service skills of any kind
