This pharmacy is not equal to all CVS ones. They can be unprofessional in how they speak to their customers. They frequently do have your prescriptions ready after saying that they would and then you have to wait. They also do not know how to use their own system when trying to locate the customers info and like to debate with the customer about their own information. Just go to another CVS or another pharmacy to avoid the hassle.

This Pharmacy is going down the tubes. They were closed all weekend during the day with the shutters down. Couldn't get needed prescriptions. Was advised one would be ready at 5:20, went at 5:30 not ready, still another 35 min. They act like nothing is wrong.

Had a 10:30 scheduled TB test. Waited 50 minutes before deciding to cancel the appointment altogether. Would not recommend coming here at all.

Unprofessional how the pharmacy personnel talks to customers in person or on the phone. Went to store ask for manager on duty, they said he was away from the store, as I was walking out the store I seen the manager and spoke with him, so clearly the lied about him not being there overall just rude. penny was helpful.

Terrible customer service in the pharmacy department. If i could have I would have given a -1 star review. Tried filling my prescriptions, and they were no help! All they had to do was call and confirm with my Dr. But they just handed my prescription back and dismissed me. If you need a good pharmacy, try the one on colonial drive!

I wasn't going to waste my time reviewing this place, but this is the third instance of complete failure I have had to endure from them. Nothing is ever ready when they tell you it is, and when you go to pick up the rx, they're all standing around giggling and eating cookies and your Rx is STILL not ready. Today is the straw that broke the camel's back. The pharmacy had to close up for some unknown reason at 4:00 and when my husband went to pick up our Rx he was told to try another CVS to get it filled. Well, forget getting anyone on the phone. CVS is a joke. Glad I am taking my business elsewhere.

I was sent to the Williamson Rd/Plantation Rd, CVS to get my prescription filled because my nearby CVS didn't have my prescription in stock. The dude that is in charge there that looks like Radar from the Mash TV show was very rude, ugly and disrespectful. This guy lacks good people skills and takes his personal problems out on CVS customers. CVS must be desperate for employees to allow someone like this to even be employed by them. I'm glad that I was the bigger man and that I took the Highroad and didn't lower myself down to his standard of ugliness, rudness and disrespect.

This is for the pharmacy. Train the young guy and the other lady who always has a mask on. They are both rude nd cant do anything. The young guy gave the wrong prescription to a man bc he pulled multiple order. They both do not know how to update insurance in their system. Still havent been able to get the insurance changed over bc they dont know how. You never get text message updates anymore for when your prescription is ready. Some helpful tips. Smiling goes along way and trained associates makes customers happy and they will not be giving bad reviews. Tighten back up bring Jason the pharmacist back and get ryan back. They know what they ate doing

AVOID THIS PHARMACY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!I have NEVER worked with a pharmacy with ruder staff anywhere I have ever lived. They are absolutely incompetent in their knowledge and refuse to give you the time of day. Everything is more difficult and you are treated like a pill pushing criminal. Please PLEASE don't use this pharmacy.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My doctors office has to fax my prescriptions multiple times before they get it. They are also rude and disrespectful. I’ve been without my medicine several times because of them, and the repercussions of me going without it are severe. One incident I had is where they told me they didn’t have any medicine in stock, when I was on the third day without my prescription, to only turn around and say they did. Very disorganized. I’ll definitely not be coming back here ever again. I recommend just sending your prescriptions elsewhere.

I don’t know what the drive thru lady’s problem is but I will never have my prescriptions filled here ever again. Rude and horrible customer service. I get if you have a day and your hands full but not being able to fix a customers insurance when they request it because you’re about to go to lunch is a little messed up. I needed that medicine or I wouldn’t be there to pick it up. Do better.

This CVS is horrible. The staff is not helpful at all and just about never wants to do their actual job. I have had to argue with the pharmacists multiple times about prescription refills. Some of them have even tried to refuse to fill my birth control. Others have refused to contact my doctor about prescriptions even though CVS says their pharmacists are obligated to. I wish I could go somewhere else for long term prescriptions but this is where I have to go.

We switched to this CVS after several less than stellar experiences with another well known chain. Employees here are so much easier to deal with, they have never taken an unreasonable amount of time to fill a prescription, and they are friendly.

I used to get Rx from Walgreens. I would call while driving from other side of town and in 30 min I would get to the store, wait in line for 10-15 and still no one had answered!They choose not to hire enough people to adequately handle the number of customers.I was on auto refill and every time I would run out of refills they never called doc to get refills.Since changing to CVS I’ve never had to wait for a refill. They don’t have long lines at the drive through or inside. At Walgreens I was treated like a drug addict when I had to get pain meds refilled. My doc would change amount I took and WALGREENS would make me wait to get refills. CVS knows me and knows I never took more meds than prescribed.Everyone there is so nice and helpful. I would recommend CVS to anyone wanting adequate care and customer service.

I’ve never had an issue at CVS. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I usually go to the CVS on Williamson Road, in Roanoke or the one in Bonsack. Those are the two I use most often, but I’ve been in other CVS stores and I don’t have one complaint about any of them, at all!

This is a fairly nice CVS pharmacy, but the employees can be very disrespectful from time to time. It is kept very clean, and the building feels very new, even though it is a couple years old. The thing I enjoyed most about this pharmacy was that the Water Authority provided the water. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent. I intend to travel to this pharmacy again soon and buy some essential medical things like sleep aids, and possibly to wash my hands. It is a very accessible building as well, with several entrances and a lot of parking spaces.

I transferred my prescription to CVS because Walgreens stop taking my insurance and I must say I will be transferring them to some where else I mean you need at least 20 min to pick up your prescription if there is not a line if a line 45 min What I mean by a line 2 cars in front of you! Going inside is no better! I mean really!

This place is not even a mile from me, but I can't use it because they never have anything I need to be filled in stock. Ill ask them to order it and/or keep it in stock when I need it monthly, but its never there. Have to drive further away just to get my scripts filled.Staff can be hit or miss as far as polite as well. CVS on down Plantation is much better, as is the Hollins Kroger.

Rudest people way to make people feel like they are a unconvinced my son is 3 had a fever of 103 and I came to get his meds they said they didn’t have it and couldn’t help so I came back and said we’ll call the Er and fig it out cause he needs something so then they actually helped and we’re able to get us another medication . I called and asked did they fix it the she said well didn’t u get a text I said yes a generic one which doesn’t tell me if u were able to resolve and fill both .

One Star is good because I would do negative if would allow! Worst of the cvs they all are horrible rude and over charge. But this one charged me twice and want to act like I stole the $60 they double charged my account! Thief’s!!! Cvs is a rip off period and all are rude think they are better than someone!!

This CVS has one main problem with it, and that is why I knocked off two stars. That problem is a particular employee who is extremely rude and unfriendly. As far as I am aware the other employees have generally been okay.

I have called several times during open hours and no one answers. I placed my refill order via there app a week ago & have heard nothing as to if its ready or a reason to why it wouldn't be ready by now! I wouldn't even be using CVS if it weren't for the type of prescription insurance my employer has for us. I miss Walgreens!

I don't even use CVS and now I know why. Was on hold for 5 mins and got hung up on when they answered, called back and when I asked my question there was a long amount of silence...I said "Hello?" And a few more seconds of silence and the lady said "hold on" . Rude.

Someone named Steve would not give last name, I picked up my liquid pain medicine and as soon as I got home half of it spilled out .. the top was very loose and I told Steve who doesn’t have a last name that the top was really loose / all he kept saying was I definitely screwed the top on straight.. this CVS is awful.. don’t waste your money on this place… Very rude and disrespectful, didn’t even say he was sorry …

Gentleman I spoke with on the phone was very rude (no name given when he answered the phone). When I asked if he could assist me in finding an item at another location because he did not have what I was looking for he said no, he can only see his store. I'm calling from out of state and assisting a relative in Roanoke.
