I asked her a question and she said "have a nice day" and handed me my receipt. I understand work can be difficult but it's not hard to have common courtesy and be nice to customers. Was told my truck would be towed for parking there overnight even though I made a purchase there before they closed. As you can tell from the pictures they are not in dire need of parking. Due to the lack of business, I bet they turn it into a spirit of Halloween soon.

The employees are very helpful, every single time I've been there if I couldn't find something someone was there to help, they are kind and friendly as well, I enjoy going to big lots, I plan on going there regularly as well.

Found the "black-out" curtains I've been looking for. Also bought an electric frying pan. Excellent prices, good selection and helpful staff.I plan to buy a new recliner soon, and I'll be buying it from Big Lots.You really need should check them out!!!❤️

Wonderful store! I was greeted when I walked through the door! "Good morning, welcome to Big Lots!". Very nice!The store was spotlessly clean, and well stocked with brand name merchandise at great prices. All I needed was a notebook, which I easily found, but I left with a big bag full of bargains!Wonderful shopping experience! Very, very pleased! I will definitely return, and tell all of my friends!

Was looking for a larger above ground pool as our previous one had worn out. Not many available around town come to find out. I called the store on Hershberger and a delightful young lady named Maddie answered phone on 3rd ring, she said that she thought they had them - but went to verify. Came back to phone very shortly and said they had 2 in stock. Told her I would be there in 5 minutes. When I got there she pointed me to where they were - an older gentleman met me and went to they back and loaded it on a cart and he and the manager helped me load it in my van. Both were super nice and helpful. I am sorry I did not get their names. In todays world I was totally impressed by their quick, kind, and helpful service.

Kid that helped me in the furniture dept. Was young, but very willing to help. His supervisor the other hand, talked down to him like he was STUPID AND COULDN'T DO ANYTHING!I WAS SO EMBARRASSED SHE TALKED AND TREATED HIM THAT WAY! IN THE FLOOR OF THE STORE. I was in there deciding on a recliner. I bit my tongue. But no person deserves that. I've worked in the public for many years, there's a time and a place to direct your employees, on the floor where EVERYONE SEES AND HEARS IS NOT THE PLACE. Store was Hershberger Rd., Roanoke, VA. Dec. 14, 2022. Just after dark.. was rainy night.

I did a curbside pick up and not only did they make me wait 30 minutes but they put me on hold two times and I had to explain myself to THREE different employees then they still gave me the wrong stuff and I tried to tell the guy who finally brought out my order and he ignored me and walked away back inside then the ladies were no help inside and I had to go find my correct items. Terrible service.

It's been a while since I've been in this store. The remodel looks wonderful and the store is very clean. I ordered a table online and picked up in store. Josh was very helpful during the whole transaction. Will definitely be back.

The store was very clean and well organized. There's a large variety of items to choose from. The store is well labeled allowing for shoppers to get in and out quickly. The store is also arranged to allow for a peaceful, pleasant shopping experience. There's endless items to choose from. Everything is reasonably priced.

Every since my first visit cause I never been before it was a bad experience. They automatically follow you around as if you are a known thief. All I am doing is checking out the store to see what they even had in the store cause I know nothing about it. They followed me and my kids around as stalkers and one lady yelled at my kid for just touching something cause he wanted me to purchase it and I wasn't for sure if I even wanted to purchase anything cause I am a bargain shopper. They keep doing it every time we come into the store and yet I haven't ever stolen anything and they cant prove I have from all the stalking. Every time I come in I always purchase items and they still continue stalking me I am about ready to say something soon about it but I guess I will do this first. But they are horrible people but I will always continue being a bargain shopper and this is the only store I ever been to that has ever in my life stalked me. I have come in with strollers and they just follow me from a regular stroller to à bike stroller. I have really young kids and I need to shop and I am shopping without any help and I definitely will not ask them since they been this way toward us. The worst store ever. Burlington never does that to me and I always feel comfortable shopping with them. You dont have to do anything or give them reasons to stalk you and they will do it. Horrible store employees

Always an awesome place to find just about everything you could possibly need... just not bread! With all stored stores transforming into Stores of the Future, they are getting more and more fantastic things in with each truck that comes! The Broyhill furniture is amazing!!

I have to travel almost a hundred miles to shop at a Big Lots and relish the opportunity. However, this had to have been my worst visit ever to any Big Lots. I used the sales flyer and posted specials to shop well over $100 of "great buys." I was dismayed at the checkout counter because only 1 cashier was serving 4 customers. In order to assist the wait time of customers behind me I bagged my purchases. That was a huge mistake because when I returned home I found the sales slip had overcharged me almost $20 more than the advertised specials on my flyer that I brought home. Buyer beware.

They were busy in the furniture department today! Zac did a very good job of communicating that there were others in front of us and that he would be right with us. Also very happy with the console that we purchased.

The store was clean and well organised, which are 2 of the most important aspects I look for in a store. The prices seem to go up higher and higher everytime I visit a Big Lots store. It's not Walmart for crying out loud, it's a discount closeout store. Knock down those prices! I found spices for $1 each. That was a good deal.

Great service at checkout. Friendly, helpful and very upbeat for the end of the night. Were were in there 1/2 hr before closing. Always have good deals with the 20% off entire purchase sales.

Store is quite large and there I'd a huge assortment of things. The store seems overcrowded with items blocking you from entering your cart at certain points of the store. Always had friendly service here and can always find something. Will go back.
