I wanted to pick a good pet groomer for my Maltese, Yeti; read a lot of reviews for multiple places. I am so happy to I picked Petnificemt. Everyone was so friendly and kind, especially the owner teresa. From the moment when I made the appointment with her until we said good bye, she had a smile on her face the whole time. Not to mention how great of job that she did for Yeti. My whole family loved his haircut. Petnificent will be our regular place for grooming. I highly recommend this business.

It’s always a delightful experience to bring our mini goldendoodle to Petnificent! We have been coming here for a few years and have seen the transformation from Teresa’s home to the new storefront in the shopping center. The staff are friendly & efficient and pricing is appropriate. We had difficulty finding a good groomer in our new area so we came back here during the holidays during our visit. Great system for scheduling appointments and communication. Highly recommend!

They did a wonderful job last time so we are headed back today so Luna can see her new friends again! I decided to add before and after pictures from our first visit. (Lunas 1st groomer experience) They made magic happen! The last 2 pictures are after our second visit today. Those big beautiful puppy eyes! Love it! She is so white and fluffy and she smells so good! See you in 6 weeks.

We are from out of town and needed our dog’s nails trimmed. They allow walk-ins here. We walked in and were greeted immediately and got our dog’s nails trimmed immediately. Our dog gets very anxious with getting his nails trimmed but the groomer was able to do it quickly and efficiently. We were very impressed!

This was my first experience with Petnificent, and I am going to be a loyal customer! it was the first grooming visit for my 15 months old English Springer Spaniel, and Teresa did a wonderful job. He came back looking perfectly groomed, despite being a squirmy youngster. Fair pricing, and great grooming are a wonderful combination. Thank you!!

The grooming was good. She looks great. my issue is with communication. I specifically said that she gets playful and overwhelmed with the air and needs breaks with blow drying. Never once did they say they would muzzle my dog. I pick her up and find out she’s been muzzled without my consent. I recognize they are going to fall back on safety and, obviously, safety is a priority. I get it, they don’t know my dog. Case in point, they didn’t even get her name right. However, it’s not actually about the muzzle. They were warned she finds the drying process overwhelming, equipped with the knowledge on how her previous groomer handled it, and still chose not to communicate or ask for my consent or provide any indication they would do something different than what we talked about when I dropped off. I would not have proceeded with the appointment or would have picked her up early to dry at home had they communicated this. So if you want a solid grooming for your dog, sure, I’d recommend. However, if you have specific expectations, I would be more hesitant and make sure you spend a lot more time than I did communicating with them.The owner reached out after reading my initial review, offered a full refund which I declined since they did a lot of work on a very large dog, edited this to make it clear that my concerns are with communication and expectations after I clearly set out what my expectations were for my dog’s experience. I respect that as a business, they did what they felt is best, however, it is not what is best for us so have found another option that is more aligned with my communication expectations.Edit 2: dropping to one star because now the story has changed from what was initially communicated to me at the store upon pick up and what the owner and I discussed on the phone as a follow up.

I wish I could give them a million stars. They are so wonderful. After an amazing experience with Petnificent a few months ago when they groomed our cat, we brought our dog in to be groomed. We were welcomed with huge smiles! Everyone was so kind and excited to have us there. The appointment was super fast in my opinion - under two hours, and our dog came out looking fresh as a daisy! He was shedding like crazy before we brought him in and no matter how many times we brushed him, we couldn’t make him look better. But Petnificent did!! Highly recommend and can’t wait to come here for years to come with our animals.

Petnificent did a great job grooming my two English bulldogs. They were attentive to every detail of the process including their nails, ears, and even their facial folds and ropes. The dogs came back happy and smelling and looking great.We’ll be back!

We had a beyond wonderful experience with Teresa! We had just rescued our 90 lb baby from the SPCA and desperately needed him groomed. Poor baby hadn’t been properly groomed in forever and was FILTHY with painfully itchy matted fur. We were in dire straits looking for an experienced groomer who could help him. Many turned us away because of how emergent our situation was and because of how intense of a task it would be. Teresa listened to our situation and fit us into her already busy schedule. She listened intently and made our dog and us feel so at ease after a stressful day. After 2.5 hours, 4 oatmeal baths, and a complete blowout, our matted boy looks like a million dollars! We are completely indebted to Teresa and would recommend her highly to anyone looking for an experienced, loving, meticulous groomer. We will be Teresa’s clients for life. Look at our precious, beautiful boy now! And it’s all thanks to Teresa!

If I could leave 20 stars for Yvette I would! I have two older dogs and was nervous to get them groomed. I had a really terrible experience at the last groomers. Yvette was kind, did an amazing job, and made me feel comfortable leaving my dogs. Petnificent as a whole is also very easy to do business with- payment, schedule, etc. THANK YOU!

Our elderly fluffy cat was in desperate need of a bath and haircut after struggling to keep herself clean. After calling a ton of places that weren’t taking cats, I saw Petnificent on Google Maps. I texted and got a response back in minutes. They were able to get us in the same day, which was so huge and appreciated!!!! The owner was so kind to help me understand cat grooming and hair cuts, as this was our first time. She was so knowledgeable and compassionate. (I felt terrible our kitty had a few mats.) The entire staff was non-judgmental and loving toward our cat. They took such great care of our fur baby and cleaned her up so nicely. I can’t thank the staff and owner enough for their incredible communication, service and help today. Thank you!

After searching for years for a place who can cut our little girl’s hair the way her breed should be cut! She’s a Havanese, and we have had a tough time finding a place to groom her to where she looks fluffy and pretty. Most places we’ve found in the area have cut her hair really short, without any fluffiness at all. Our overall experience at Petnificent was great also! We were greeted in such a kind and friendly manner by the owner/groomer, who was very gentle and patient when first introducing herself to our Mia. She asked us what kind of haircut we were looking for, and once we described and showed her what we were looking for, she took Mia over to the table and did a test cut to make sure we were getting the type of haircut we wanted. When we returned to pick our Mia up, she seemed to be really calm and relaxed, which is something we’ve never noticed when picking her up from other groomers. The people at Petnificent were all very friendly, and it is clear that they really have a passion for what they do and a deep love for dogs in general.

We are new to the area and I have been searching for a great groomer. Finally found it at Petnificent! We had a wonderful experience with Teresa. She was so welcoming with my dog and the groom was quick! My dog looks great and left there tail wagging! The no cage experience is a game changer. Highly recommend. Yvette is the best groomer. I appreciate her compassion and integrity. I am a helicopter pet mom and I fully trust her with my pup. She’s very very competent at grooming too. My dog used to be anxious at the groomer but now he is calm. I HIGHLY recommend her.

They did an amazing job with my cat Phoebe. I needed to get her in for a sanitary/hygiene trim because she has long hair. I was trying to get in same day or next day and couldn’t find anyone who groomed cats or who could get me on such short notice. They helped me out tremendously as I called around 11:30 this morning and was able to make an appointment for 4:30 this afternoon! Thank you for taking such good care of my girl! I will definitely be back!

I moved farther away from this business but I drive the distance because of how caring and quickly they groom my dog. I wait in my car listening to a book or working for the 1- 1 1/2 hours it takes for the grooming. Your dog will not end up in a cage waiting for the next step. They handle critique if you do feel a touchup is needed (only happened once for me) because they care that you get the best grooming for your pet.

Petnificent was recommended to me during the pandemic and because of my open availability was happy to drive to her home from North Chesterfield to have my ShiTzu/Chihuahua mix dog groomed there. Ziggy was ALWAYS excited to see Teresa and her staff. Once I started working, however, it was more of a challenge to get to her new location so I decided to try a local groomer - that proved to be a mistake. When that particular groomer suggested my 9 lb ShiTzu be sedated for his visits, I felt I had no other choice but to go back to Petnificent. Ziggy still gets excited to see Teresa and her staff and I’m more than happy to make the 30 minute drive knowing how well loved he is there and how great of a job they all do in caring and grooming our family dog. I never recommend anyone else but Petnificent. I just bring a book or my laptop to get some reading or work done and wait for Ziggy at the coffee shop in the same plaza. It’s worth it!

We brought our dog Charlie to Teresa for the first time and it was amazing! We love the fact that she does each appointment at that time so our dog doesn’t have to stay in a cage all day. Our dog had very very very curly hair and we always have difficult experiences at other grooming facilities saying that she’s “matted” and needs to be shaved down completely. This was thankfully NOT the case with Petnificent!! She was the first groomer who actually understood our dog and her hair and took the greatest care of her. The appointment process was SUPER easy, Teresa was attentive, kind, professional and we can tell she loves what she does. She not only is a great groomer but her customer service is phenomenal. After seeing how Charlie’s haircut was perfectly executed and how happy she was when my husband picked her up, (she’s never been happy after a grooming visit), we know Teresa will be our groomer from here on out.

After frantically searching last minute for a groomer before our vacation I am so glad I went with Petnificent! I got real lucky I got in a same day appointment because dates were booked solid(that shows you right there a lot of clients like going here). Teresa upon arrival was VERY friendly, provided immediate comfort for my nervous furbaby, and when talking put my mind at ease with her expertise & professionalism. I had to find a new groomer for our Bichon Frise after her longtime groomer went out of business due to the pandemic, and I’m so glad I found Petnificent. Teresa was so good and gentle with our older dog, and she looked beautiful after her grooming session. I especially like how you could pick and choose the various services and options online, along with scheduling an appointment, which is very convenient. Also, the text updates while she’s working on the dog is very much appreciated. Highly recommended.
