I called Neat Sweep for expedited service and a second opinion during the sale of my home. I was in a time crunch, and very stressed after another “supposedly reputable” chimney service give me an outrageously high quote for repair and cleaning of chimneys. Nick came within two days, and spent considerable time and care in evaluating the chimneys, pellet stoves and furnace. In a professional manner he explained his findings, reviewing the needs for repairs for safety versus maintenance needs . His quote was one fourth the cost of the other company who was taking advantage of my situation, timeline and understanding of requirements. When the Neat Sweep crew arrived for the work, they were efficient, did a superb job and fully informed me of the process. I strongly recommend their service!

I had my chimney inspected today since we have a woodstove that we were hoping to use this winter. We bought our home a few years ago and haven't used it yet since we were unsure the condition of the chimney. Unfortunately our chimney is in no condition to use it and is in bad shape. I'm so thankful we had it inspected. The technician took pictures of it and it is clearly out of commission and appears there was a previous chimney fire and major cracking in the lining. He provided several recommendations and a few options as well as repair estimates. He let us know that if we would rather go with non-vented gas, that option would save us more money even though his company doesn't provide this option, but he gave us names of a few companies that do and recommended we get a few estimates to shop around for. They installed a cap today since we didn't have one and gave us a discount towards the inspection for our troubles. I highly recommend Neat Sweep for your chimney cleaning and repair services.

We have used Neat Sweep since we moved into our home (5 years). We have a chimney with a wood stove insert! They have been above and beyond with taking care of it, repairing it, cleaning it and answering any and all questions we have knowledgeably!Not to mention they are always so friendly!Chris is who usually comes (he is awesome) and he even remembers our dog! Neat Sweep repaired the crown of my chimney and the crown cracked in less than two years. They would not honor the warranty on the service because I did not notify them soon enough. In fact, I did not even know that there was a two year warranty on the service because they did not provide any paperwork. Ruth explained the details of the warranty when I called to complain. Ruth was very understanding and pleasant to talk to. She then suggested that I speak to Corey (he performed the work) and Courtney. Corey never called me. And Courtney was extremely rude and condescending and refused to provide a full refund. Regardless of when I notified Neat Sweep, I should not have been obligated to pay for the repair.

Excellent service from office staff and technicians. We’ve used them for 2 years. During their busy time in December - the first time we used them, they were literally the only company that always answered the phone. Couldn’t get a call back from anyone else even after leaving voicemails. I’ve never had this happen with Neat Sweep no matter how busy they are. I also like getting a reminder call couple days prior.Technicians arrive exactly in the window provided, are very nice, knowledgeable and honest.

Billy the sweeper came and “cleaned” my chimney. Had another company come the same day and give me a second opinion regarding the work he said I needed. He said my chimney was not cleaned, showed me pictures inside and out and gave me an honest quote for the service. I called Neat Sweep back to let them know that the work was not completed and requested someone clean the chimney and show pictures of a clean chimney or refund my money. Billy came back and “cleaned” the chimney, but when I asked for pictures that I was told I would be shown he said “we don’t want to do business with you anymore.” I called the company back to let them know and I was told “we never said that.” Seems sketchy. If anyone wants the other guys number, Castle.

We needed a cracked panel replaced in our fire place and Neat Sweep Chimney Services was very affordable. Also the service techs that came out were very nice, honest, and friendly. I highly recommend!!!

We ordered a 10 Yard dumpster and received a dumpster that measured only 7 yards. This forced us to have to rent another dumpster which is over $300 extra cost....I called and they offered no help.... Neat Sweep: please don't label a 7 yard dumpster 10 yards, to me that is stealing!

They "inspected" my chimney and gave it a clean bill of health! YAY! Except a week later, Cugot's Chimney Service found an active chimney swallow nest. Billy with Neat Sweep either didn't check the chimney at all...i.e. "blatantly ripped me off" or they were so negligent that they missed a family of swallows nesting in the chimney. How do you inspect a chimney and miss a nest of chimney swallows??? And NO offer made to refund my inspection money. RIP OFF! BEWARE!
