Probably the friendliest and most helpful staff! The store is clean, well stocked and easy to navigate. The fresh produce was amazing - we even found fresh turmeric root. This Kroger's location is a real winner! We have shopped at many Kroger's and they are not all the same. Large parking lot, easy access.

I love the convenience of this store for me. The employees seem stressed and always super short staffed, though always courteous and helpful when needed/asked for help. The shelves are almost always empty regardless of when I go... This used to be my go-to grocery store but I'm left disappointed more and more.

I think Kroger is probably the best if not one of the best grocery stores in rva! There meats are definitely better then the rest of the grocery stores around. I like the fact u can get anything from sushi, hot meals, to deli meat all in one grocery store. Excellent selection of cheeses! Produce and meat department is excellent! Sea food is great as well here! U can even buy nice clothing and kitchen appliances here! Kroger really did cover a lot of bases! Definitely my favorite grocery store

The employee who checked us out last night couldn’t even be bothered to get off her phone call. She was face timing with someone and talking to them during the whole checkout process. This place always feels so understaffed. Checkout here is always dreadful but the store is so convenient to everything I still go.

Be careful about ordering groceries here if you are on a schedule. I made an order to pick up at 8am. I get a call 8 minutes before I’m supposed to pick it up saying it will be an hour late. As I went into the store to get a few things I counted 5 employees that were doing absolutely nothing around the store… sad.

I love going to Kroger. The associates are very nice and helpful as well as professional. Even the customers are nicer than other stores I've visited. I've never had any issues with them. I love their stores. They carry products from no other store outside of their Kroger chain that is unique and new. I definitely recommend that people at least visit to see what I've always seen. They're a bit on the expensive side but it's worth it. The finds are AAAAAmazing! Can't stress that enough!

Kroger's squished fish patty on a bun . With or without cheese. After salt, pepper, tartar sauce and hot sauce it was ok. It wasn't soggy in between the batter. Pollock

Every week they have several items out of stock. I always have to make a second stop later in the week or, lately, go to other grocery stores. They also have a tough time keeping track of carts in the parking lot. Often the shopping cart racks are so full they hinder cars from parking and driving through the lot. Cars already have a difficult time parking because there aren’t many spots. I cut my hand on the metal on a broken cart on my last visit. I really wish Kroger would make some big changes to this property.

Just got home after a hour long fiasco at this ridiculous store because not a single employee understood the concept of price overriding the corn. It was advertised for 19 cents an ear. But you had to download an app which didn’t work. Jeanelle didn’t know how to work the coupons but could loudly accuse me of already using the coupons even though I’d just downloaded the app as instructed. Oh & my phone was on 1% battery! After an hour the manager Rebecca still hadn’t bothered to show up. Then they tried to charge me double for the corn because all the employees walk around but have very little concept of cashiering. Avoiding this horrible place like the plague!

Terrible customer service, especially at the deli also if you happen to go after 8;45 -9 pm they lock one entrance with no sign or anything and you have to walk all the way around. It makes a dangerous situation because of the way the store is designed but the deli service is horrible it's like they don't want to serve you and wish you would leave. And the sef service check out doesn't work well at all it makes you wait for an associate.

Very short staffed:I had to interrupt an 'employee meeting' at 'Customer Service' to say one sentence about their entrance and remind them that the CUSTOMER waiting behind me may matter more than orienting a new employee.Update 6/11: Lack and turnover of staff is evident and unfortunately, I suspect that, combined with this location's upper management or corporate b.s. there many disgruntled employees who will say so. The angriest Kroger in town. The Murray's island is, per usual, the best, as is Ebony & Ivory -they get 6 stars.

love this kroger always have a good time- just wanted to ask if you could please stop pre-slicing the bakery bread? the whole appeal of grabbing a la brea loaf is being able to hock off your own slab. Its kind of ruined when you preslice it into those paper thin slices ): other than that love your store everyone is always so nice and helpful.

I ordered a cake online and when I came in they did not have it because their online cake order process is not ideal. I was really upset and frustrated. They are short staffed but Sabrina helped us out even though she’s the only one working the bakery and the manager Phillip was also really helpful and empathetic. I definitely had an attitude and they were both nice and helpful the entire time! The situation was handled very professionally

This store has really gone downhill quickly. The last handful of times I've been to this store over the last year have all been a disappointment. They don't offer as much as they used to, nothing I shop for is ever in stock, and the employees behind the counter are incredibly rude. I waited 10 minutes today at the counter before one of the employees even looked up and greeted me. The menu at the ready-made food always has items that aren't in stock and the employees there are less than helpful. Just an overall horrible Kroger. I've never been to another one that is this bad before. I will not go back to this store again.

On August 7th, 2022 around 6:30pm I was unnecessarily followed by security the entire time I was shopping. A larger woman of color.Her main focus was me and no one else the whole time I was shopping.I felt harassed and insulted.As I was checking out I was having a difficult time processing multiple cards and needed assistance.The problem was the register and not the different types of payments. As I was trying to prove that I actually did have the means to pay, the security woman following me took it upon herself to start taking my bagged groceries out of my cart exclaiming they were Kroger's property.A portion of MY groceries were already covered with a card that went through and I was trying to exclaim that I had the money for the remaining balance and proceeded to take the bags back. The security guard then threatened to kick me out of the store and ban me from the property for theft.I was able to have the cashier transfer the balance to her register and finish my purchase.I went to the manager at the front of the store, Matthew and explained what had happened and how it made me feel and he said, "You'll be fine." Not even an apology for the harassment or false accusations.I will no longer be shopping at this particular Kroger again!

I was looking for markers and a pencil sharpener. I was able to find it, but it was a little different than the layout of the Kroger I am used to so it took me some extra time to find it. Used self checkout. Nothing out of sorts, standard grocery store.

I used to work for this company about two years ago as a leader. They store is so dirty, rats running around like they own the place and unfair leadership. Rebecca so rude and worst manager alive.

First: Go to Food Lion for great service (smiling living CASHIERS) and low prices on regular groceries. Go to Publix for variety. It's hard to capture how bad this store is. The final straw for my boyfriend was NO cashiers early in the morning when he had to buy his bags of produce. Mine was ONCE AGAIN waiting 10 minutes for an attendant to finally stroll over to address the money the self check owed me. He and I both cut up our cards to ensure we were never tempted to shop there again, even though Krogers are far closer. RICHMOND! WAKE UP! Stop giving your business to a company that has so little respect for you and your time! Vote with your feet. Put them out of business to make room for better stores.

My goodness, do you pay the Deli workers to go slow and not make eye contact?? Took 25 minutes to get a single order of salad, only one person ahead of me. And, the person who finally waited on me was at the end of the counter doing nothing so she could have waited on me much earlier. .I dread having to deal with the Deli. Looked for a manger to express my frustration directly but didn't see anyone. Perhaps better training?

if this store were in metro Atlanta (Murder Kroger), it would have cleaner updated bathrooms, a better lit parking lot and a Henrico or Richmond police officer on full time. it's a spacious clean relatively well stocked store with a friendly staff. You've got to acknowledge that there are transient folks in the area who need to use that bathroom as well as the elderly population and it is atrocious. also I don't understand having the markdown bread and canned good section 10 ft from the bathroom door... just saying.

please do NOT have your employees talking on their cell phones on speaker phone on personal calls when they are out on the floor and working. It is so rude to the customers. The women who work in the deli and bakery needs to be fired cuz all they do is talk on their phones on personal calls while clocked in working. Guess you the company likes paying people who do no work.and do not stock shelves at 2 pm where the people stocking shelves are leaving boxes all over in every isle. Someone can get hurt and sue the company. Extreme safety hazard and osha needs to be called about this store.

Kroger Willow Lawn gas station rocked it during today’s gas run- orderly lines directed by a Henrico officer and several calm, cool, collected employees got traffic filed into a single line and expedited cars to open pumps. Really seamless and I was in and out in 10 minutes, plus I got my Kroger fuel points discount! Very impressed by how efficiently the staff handled a very stressful and out of the ordinary situation!

Had only 3 of the full service lines open and several employee walking around. It should be noted that all 6 of the self service lanes were open with two employees monitoring them. I guess the point is to encourage customers to ring up their owns groceries so Kroger does not have to pay as many people to serve customers. When are they going to give customers a discount for ringing up their own groceries or is Kroger just going to keep the money they save to themselves. Please think before using the self-service lanes.

Oh my Gosh , they have so many things that are so wonderful and worth the walk and they have the missing things from my diet I needed. So very thankful regarding the wonderful caring service they provide, always so friendly . I'm a life long shopper of Krogers . So thankful that Virginians keeps that chain open too, my frequent stores open So very friendly to people with a very tight budget with Wonderful customer service. Very tasty item and like my other store great heads up on new items coming out that you are sure to afford and enjoy!!

This is by far the busiest Kroger that I have ever been to, and I can't handle the constant redesign and lay out of the store. I loved that all the gluten-free and healthy option food were in the same aisle, but now they are dispersed throughout the store which is so inconvenient.

I left my luggage bag on the water bottle pile near register 20. I left and remembered I left my bag and came and directed by check out 20 lady to head to customer service to only realize my luggage was left outside like a premeditated banning is on the way!! Smh
