I’ve visited a lot of Gabe’s Stores and this one is the most unorganized, messy stores I’ve ever been in. I was really shocked to see the messy aisles and boxes everywhere! The infant/toddler clothes were all mixed together and sizes were not organized. They have a lot of clothing, but it is all very mixed up. I’ll never visit this store again.

I have found some nice things here, but for someone who is a merchandise supervisor this store is unacceptable when it comes to things being all of the floor etc like a tornado came through there and no one cares to fix/clean it up items are all over the place.. people aren’t going to want to come in and shop with things on the floor and the store looking a mess because they’ll assume the items they’ll buy are dirty or messed with and that’s not a look you want to have. Hire more people to keep the store clean.

They usually have good to great prices on items, the problem is finding what you want. There is little organization within the store, shopping doesn't flow. You can find great deals but don't think you will run in and grab something and run out, you will need to spend a couple hours just searching through everything. Associates are lazy, most but not all!

I love this store! I like to go and browse the aisles for specials. I will never go anywhere else if l’m looking for bedding. I have now purchased 3 throw blankets, because I always find the best ones there. Beautiful, oversized, super plush blankets and the selection is amazing. I also buy the dog’s treats from Gabe’s. The prices are well below what you pay elsewhere. You can buy everything at Gabe’s except fresh produce.

We went on a Friday night 10 days before Christmas and there were only a few employees working. Let me tell you, they worked their butt off! People were sassy and impatient but those girls kept it real, polite, and did the best they could. Not to mention the awesome prices we got on name brand Christmas list items.

Don’t visit this store, the management has a nasty attitude and by all means don’t let your teenager work there, if so, management will abuse your kid. My niece split her pants and they would not allow her to leave nor call her mom. When going to speak with the manager Sylvia, she didn’t care, stating call HR, did not want to speak about it, there was no apology. I suggest everyone boycott this location, STORE DIRTY ANYWAY

The manager Jeanette bullies her minor employees. She seems to think that talking to them anyway she pleases is fine because according to her they grown since they work there. Wardrobe malfunction leaving their private areas almost exposed does not matter because they are short handed ( can't keep staff. Oh my can't imagine why). No break to be allowed to call home for a change of clothes. Or to walk home ,behind store, to change. No, she openly mocked her embarrassment in front of customers leaving her to cry.

Had such high hopes for this Gabe's location. The Hull Street Gabe's began to get really, really, stuffed with racks of clothes. Rumbling through racks not my thing.Gabe's off Azalea Avenue area was clean and very well organized a year agoI try to visit every month or so.Upon my last visit a week ago I was quite amazed at stuffed clothes rack.Did not purchase anythingLooked around for 30 minutes then left. Will revisit for Christmas holiday shopping.

I like Gabe's. This is the only location I've been to and the plaza seems a little dead. But Gabe's is a good stop for discount shopping. If you're looking for better career clothes or discount formal wear, you should probably go to Burlington, Marshall's or Ross. They have interview and career stuff, but it's lower quality or few and far between. This is more of a closeout store. I found a GORGEOUS Ann Taylor sweater that retailed for $110 and is sold online for $60-80...it was $7.99!!! But that was the only 1 of that style in the store. I found a pair of French Canadian khaki dress shorts that the maker sells online for $90 - it was clearance $3.99 original paper tags removed and size XS. On the same rack were Target (Walmart?)Time and Tru stuff. You have to search for the fancy stuff, but it's worth it. Failed or overstocked cosmetic lines are there (often broken or opened by idiots). And fun FAILED flavors of potato chips, cereals and more (some closer to their expiration than you may be used to.They had those light bulbs with wifi cameras in them for under $20 and knock off floor cleaning robots for under $30. Lots of luggage. Shoe racks and build able wardrobes (most the no-tools needed kind that l wouldn't put alot of weight on. Some nice looking ottomans, small tables, lamps. B.o.C purses and wallets. next to Betsey Johnsons less cute creations and some really nice looking no-name purses.Flat irons that heat up to 450 and 460 degree (1-1.5 in wide) for $15.99 some in dust covered boxes (which I don't care about if it works. There are toys. Lots of variety from Barbie to odd little Asian made digital pocket pets. Packaging damage is common but you get a bargain.NICE MEN'S SHOE SECTION- including some rare shoes, pricey upscale Hipster loafers (how did they get here?) , work boots and cheap, unbranded plastic men's slides. Again, there may only be one pair left of fancy stuff.I bought an inflatable leg pillow for swelling and 5 pairs of INCREDIBLE shoes- all pricey if they were retail. But sizes are limited and often the amount available. Shoes are sold at regular price also, but they will get marked down if they sit too long.If you're looking for cheapy clothes to sleep in, go to the beach in, bowl and BBQ in, or party in...they have all the cute looking "wash it once and it falls apart" stuff too. School clothes, baby clothes. YES?Staff was really nice but they're stretched thin. I saw "We're hiring signs". Place is a touch disorganized (though some spots were super straightened)I like Gabe's a lot.

This store was great? Very friendly staff. Store was not messy. Found stuff that did not cost an arm and a leg. Loved it. Went on a Tuesday so my Mom could get a military discount. Have to love that the company does that to the men and women that protect the country. Also noticed that they give senior citizens a discount on Monday.

They really need to train staff better, I try to exchange an item that I used a coupon and instead of do that she said I have to pay extra. Instead of call the manager and fix it she decided to do full refund. What can I said the store lost the money instead of just apply the dollar off 😂😂🤣🤣.Get my cash back and ready to shop at 5 below 😚thanks

I’m an African American female. I just went In gabes , it was around 8pm and I was with my family. We were very disturbed and uncomfortable because an employee started following us into different isles. He was a old African American man probably around 50-80. He went to tell his co-workers that we were gonna steal, we showed him proof that we had money to pay and he still went to follow us and spread lies about us. I am very unsatisfied with the customer service here. That cashier was bad as hell though, give her a raise

100% worth the trip! Tons of great deals. They also have scrubs good name brand ones way cheaper. Staff was super friendly and the prices on some women's clothes were cheaper than local thrift stores! Can't beat their deals.

Despite the confusion on my last visit, I do like the store. I do wish there were more motorized shopping carts for those with mobility issues and there were more space between some of the displays, the staff overall is friendly and helpful. I also like that EVERY Monday they offer Senior discounts and EVERY Tuesday they offer Veteran discounts( I am both ) both which were brought up with Corporate as I made them aware of the "confusion" issue I had experienced concerning the redemption of a coupon from the app. The clerk either did not know or the issue was program related. Corporate was extremely apologetic and understanding and promised to quickly have both íssues discussed at both the corporate and field levels.

I am a african american teenager that has been harrassed by an employee. Me and my family were walking around in gabes at 8:00pm until we were followed and accused of stealing, we were very uncomfortable and left the store as quick as we could. I do not reccomend this Gabes to ANYBODY who is trying to be in a good mood, because he ruined ours.

The store can get messy FAST and stay that way during the weekends. Stock in certain things can be low, but the staff are very helpful and friendly and the prices are good ..so it's worth a visit

Names brands for cheap just keep in mind that you get what you pay for, I've noticed that the clothes I purchased here don't last too long, after maybe 3rd to 4th wash it gets faded or it'll tear

1st time visit. Can't describe the amount of cool stuff to look at. Very eclectic, yet things people like, I'm guessing. So, furniture to glass bottles, which were looking 4. Books, which I went back to buy. There is too much to list. Percentage goes to charity. Great store, pls ck them out. North of Ashland . Support local business.Hat

I was pleased with the variety of merchandise. The prices were affordable. The store was crowded but the staff was very organized and courteous. The staff was working hard to keep things in order, especially when customers browsing unorganized them or put things they did not want in another department. The clothes and shoes inventory was phenomenal. I will be going back!
