Was shopping with my mom awhile back and overheard the CSM Jocelyn tell her cashier “LOOK! Don’t call ME or the Office person unless it’s someone at the Customer service desk. I don’t care how long the lines are, I don’t care if you’re the only one on the register DON’T CALL US.” Was blown back and had to make a little chuckle under my breath because it’s amazing that the cashier didn’t walk out cause if I was being spoke to like that HR would’ve been involved…. Not to mention her management skills need some heavy improvement.

Not a lot of people and great customer service. My latest visit I bought Seattle's best k cups on clearance for 2.19, that's why I like Food lion. I visited again and found 3 chicken thighs reduced to $2.00. That beats fast food restaurants, I try to check out different stores monthly.

Convenient location, since there are no real grocery stores in this area of Southside Richmond. Friendly staff. But check the expiration dates! Just discovered something ONE YEAR passed expiration. Gross. And pick the spinach and spring greens packages from the BACK of the case. Stuff up front is sometimes rotten. So gross.

I like comming here prices are decent the customer service is very good, produce is always fresh ,I really have no complaints ,I definitely recommend food lion ,this is my favorite place to shop and associates are very friendly

Today, March 8, 2023, I had a bad experience with a thin black supervisor, I don't know why in that store she doesn't teach good manners to the employees so that they treat others with affection and good manners, she was cold and unpleasant, I hope never more to see her again.

Food Lion I don't care where you go always has great customer service. Add you can find basically everything you need there. So if you're in the area stop on through and get a great smile from the customer service. Thank God for the public restrooms. Even if you're not shopping you can use the restroom. So I am grateful for that. And thanks again food Lion

Only went in for a few items so didn't explore whole store, but it looks to be fully stocked. Use the digital coupon app. It helps. Store clean, organized. Too many non masked shoppers in Covid times. Would like to see store wipe belt and credit card payment machine more. Cashier was polite.

This store has a high volume of shoppers. The store does not keep the shelves stocked to accommodate the shoppers. The deli is always closing earlier than the deli hours. If you ask for something the staff will tell you that they already cleaned the machine. My least favorite place to go.

It's a great place to shop the atmosphere is great if you have a good atmosphere you have great shopping and Food Lion does it greatly with their excellent managers Kim and Tanya and Oliver are always there with a cheerful face and a smile to help you if you need guidance throughout the store. There should be more great managers and assistant managers as those as well as Oliver. They are wonderful people to be around if your day is going bad I stop there often at Food Lion and do a little shopping and they can always bring a smile to your face.

Food lion has always been my favorite grocery store since I moved to Virginia 4 years ago, I love their prices, and they always have great values on their food and other products I definitely would continue shopping at Food Lion

Fairly good item selections despite all of the current shortages and massive inflation...pet food availability isn't that good, but it's not Food Lions fault, it's been like that everywhere. Decent meat selections despite shortages, and the prices aren't too bad...

This Food Lion is a good one. Great location and friendly employees. A nice selection of fruits, vegetables and vegetarian foods can be found here. They also have an excellent bakery selection. Cheers!

Convenient to the area, clean, a few courteous employees and well stocked. Some employees need to be more customer oriented and there's a demand for more organic Non-GMO produce at fair market prices. Things in the store are pricey in all categories even with coupons.

Never again! I went to Captain D's because my daughter wanted the shrimp special. I got a 2 pc fish. The shrimp still had the vein in it. Not 1. All of the shrimp had the vein. My 2pc fish looked like 1 pc of fish cut into 2 pieces. Captain D's has changed dramatically. The ladies that helped us were very nice.

This Food Lion 5702 Jefferson Davis was well stocked with essential supplies. The store had Bathroom tissue, paper towels and cleaning supplies so far no limits. Not sure if that will change with the pandemic on the rise. Got in and out with a 5 min wait in line. Line moved right along with all cashiers being available. Much better than Meadow Dale Food Lion. Cashier were very kind and well mannered.

today I got a money order at 9oclock. when for years I was told by them on jd hey I couldn't get it til 10 o'clock. today I called and ask first and the lady told me I can get money orders at 7oclock when the store open. I hate food lion that's why I stop shopping there. but today I had no choice but to get my money orders from there. it use to b the place I shopped.

Literally, no one cares about this Food Lion. Staff absolutely sucks here. You'll get a good one if your lucky, but most of the staff are garbage employees.

I love shopping here! This store is always cleaned & organized. I dont get why people say theres only one line open. I go every week & theres always at least 3 open. I just wish they carried plantains. And a little coffee area would be nice. I always would get a coffee from my previous grocery store in NY. Just a thought.

My wife just had surgery today and I needed to find something easy and quick for dinner tonight. Food lion had just what I needed.never had to search for deals because they have them every day.
