As a loyal customer, I was shocked by the treatment I received.I was browsing the store, taking my time to carefully review the coupons, which I found to be somewhat misleading. I was trying to understand them to make the best purchasing decisions. During this time, two associates approached me, seemingly to offer help. However, when I actually required assistance, they were unable to provide any meaningful support.I felt rushed to check out, and the manner in which the associates insisted on handling my items, citing the mix of small and large items as a reason, was both unnecessary and uncomfortable. It was particularly disheartening that they didn’t honor the coupons I had.This treatment left me feeling discriminated against and hastily pushed out of the store, contrary to the welcoming and inclusive environment that CVS professes to provide for its customers. The actions of these employees not only represent a failure in customer service but also raise serious concerns about racial profiling within your store.I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate actions to ensure such incidents do not recur.I look forward to your prompt response and resolution to this matter.

Spent over 30 minutes on hold trying to call in a pediatric prescription before I was hung up on by the pharmacy staff. When I called back the pharmacist told me he was too busy to take the prescription over the phone but this conversation lasted longer than it would take for him to write down the prescription. Can’t imagine how they treat their patients if this is how they treat providers.

Awful customer service in the pharmacy department. The pharmacy manager is the worst no customer service at all. Violated Customer Privacy Law. This is one store need to closed down. Only one in the store with Customer service was the young man at the front register.

Walked in the pharmacy right before they were closing the gate and they denied the retrieval of medication…As a patient that is picking up medication, the least you could have done was provided the medication especially since I came 30mins away to retrieve someone else medication because they needed it before going out of town which they just contacted them today about it being ready after they had to wait for it …Society have really lost the “empathy” in healthcare especially when all you had to do was give me an medication that was already done…Shame on the actual pharmacist because the pharmacy technician really wanted to get the medication

Most incompetent CVS I’ve ever been to. From the pharmacy that miscounted my medication for an international trip, to the cashiers who have twice lost our packages, this place is so poorly run. Fortunately I can walk across the street to Walgreens, but if you absolutely need to use CVS PLEASE go to a different one!!

Waiting 45 min in line for the drive through isn’t unusual. Can’t bail on the line because you’re walled in once you get past a certain point. Literally the only place I’ve had mess up a script - tried to tell me I was a “seeker” and luckily my doctor called them and set them straight. I don’t think that particular pharmacist is there anymore but man they are really good at hiring incompetent staff. At least they answer their phones, I’ll give ‘em that:

Some of the most incompetent pharmacy staff I've encountered. They tried to transfer my rx to another CVS because they are out of stock, but the rx cannot be transferred because it's codeine. It's 6pm, they tell me "just tell your doctor to rewrite it" my doctor isn't open! I've waited 3 days for my medication, haven't slept for days - these people do not understand customer service or basic knowledge.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy in America. Staff is not kind and there is a consistent wait, sometimes lasting longer than an hour, either in person or at the drive through. I have never had a positive experience

Why is the drive through always closed? Almost seems intentional at this point. Drive thru is frequently closed, resulting in ridiculously long, slow-moving lines inside. It’s annoying and a waste of time.

Terrible pharmacy management. They are extremely disorganized and have failed to fill active prescriptions and contact my insurance on multiple occasions. In the year I've been using this CVS, I've made at least 10 trips that resulted in going home empty handed, or waiting 30 minutes for them to do something they should have done before I arrived. On top of that, the pharmacists often provide inaccurate information...and do so quite rudely. Go anywhere but here. It's a nightmare.

Since the other cvs by foodlion closed the cvs has been over worked. You now have to wait hours or days for your prescription. Today I go in at 1pm after receiving a texted messafe on Thursday that my prescription was ready for pickup to be told they but it back on the shelf and it won't be ready until 4pm. Yesterday my roommate left the er to go pick up his prescription and was told he couldn't just get 12 pills as written by the er doctor. He would have to ho back to the hospital and get a new prescription. CVS please get your act together.

I've lived in Richmond for over 15 years, I used to work at the Walgreens across from this place right out of HS. I literally never went into this CVS until today when I had to pick up a package from the UPS access point. I was only on the store for 10 mins maybe and it was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. The cashier who said they were also the manager was rude and unhelpful, when called out about his behavior, they doubled down and wouldn't ring up my purchase. I left with my package... but I'll never set foot into this store again if I can help it.

This place is chronically understaffed. 4 out of 5 times you come there’s a handwritten sign saying the drive through is closed. Then you go wait in a long line inside.

This place is the worst pharmacy to fill a prescription. Always takes hours to fill a script and the drive thru is THE WORST! I waited an hour the other day and once your in line your blocked in theres no way to back out and when you ask why theres such a long wait they are so rude and they act like your crazy and they have no idea what your talking about. Worst pharmacy ever! I gave them one star but honestly they dont even deserve that. Hate this place.

Never inform you when there out of stock on medicine. I drive 20 minutes for pharmacy to state I should of got a message about not having medicine. All it says is we are putting in special order. Last time it said that medicine was there. Very trashy looking and eye sore. Location is horrible where elderly are causing several accidents.

Lunch is from 1:30-2:00 but don’t count on them not closing early if you don’t want to enjoy a 35 minute wait in their parking lot… cashier said sometimes the machines “lock a minute early” but when the counter screen is already down at 1:25, that’s way more than a minute. I get that everyone needs a lunch break, no contest there, but when a business says it’s open…. It should be open.

Pharmacy is a complete disappointment, I'm moving my prescriptions to a store that is invested in my needs and welfare. Pharmacy techs unhelpful and rude. Having moved to forest hill 7 yrs ago, this drug store was in my neighborhood and this is where I stayed until I had no insurance I show up to get my refills and was confronted with a bill of >$400 do you think they offered to help me look at ways on how to reduce it, no they bordered on hostile. So I'm done with them.moving to Kroger where the pharmacy was sympathetic and asked me immediately if I had tried this or that web site that would reduce my bills, fortunately I had and have researched until I do have insurance, bye CVS.

Pharmacy is totally incompetent need to do a serious cleanup with personel. I take very important medications and on more than one occasion ive called and asked them to fill mutiples and they simply forgot one or contacted my old doctor to fill them. They are all rude except for Jade.

I use cvs all the time and this is the worst one ever. They called to say the script was ready, I get there and am told it’s a 45min wait which I had to go to work. Then because of their super limited hours, I had to race from work to find out that I had to wait because they lost one of the scripts!!! No public restroom, very limited places to waitI will never use this location again

Cvs kinda sucks to start off. Everything cost 3x what walmart costs and the hours suck for the pharmacy. I don’t understand why the pharmacy’s hours would differ from the stores hours. They really screwed me on 4th of July when they never called and told me my prescription was ready the day before. Probably going to keep it local from here on out!

No one speaks when you enter the store.Most of the time they are talking to each other. Or the employees are always away from cash register putting out merchandise. The customers should not have to look for a cashier,and ask if a customer needs help or at list acknowledge that we are in the store! What has happened to good customer service.Store never has anything!

Wow!!!....Whomever answered the phone on 8/9/2022 @8:10 was very rude & impatient as she over talked me and rushed through my inquiries about my medication. Then she ended the call with a very unprofessional "uh huh!"Who was she? Why is she allowed to answer the phone?!I am used to better service at this location....
