We recently went here for dinner. We got seated easily. It was not super crowded however the ac was too much. It took awhile for the food to be served. Chicken pizza was ok . Shrimp pasta was ok too. Ice cream with cake was the best . It was super yummy . Nobody came to check on us neither they came to fill the water also however they were check in near the table. Food was ok. There were mosquitoes inside as well. It was ok experience for us.

First time eating here and it was amazing! I was seated promptly, my server was fast, and very courteous! Our food came out promptly and hot! The atmosphere was very nice and chill! It seems to be a place you can take the family, a date, or hang out with the fellas! A definite add to my list of pizza joints!

This location makes me want to never return to a California Pizza Kitchen. As someone who has been coming to CPK for years all across the states this location specifically has put a bad taste in my mouth for the chain as a whole. The restaurant was absolutely filthy, tables not cleared and flies swarming. Bathrooms additionally were not kept clean. Service was slow. Food was mediocre at best. We ordered the avocado rolls, wontons, and a California club pizza. The club came out without avocado and the dough was so tough we were hardly able to eat it. The server only charged us for a BLT pizza as a courtesy which I found interesting since that is in fact what they gave us. For $60 I will be choosing a different restaurant and I suggest you do as well.

It’s just 4 minutes passed 4 in the afternoon, and they were out of bread already. Adam apologized as he takes our order. The place was not busy. We got our food in no time. Three pizzas. The best was the Thai chicken on cauliflower crust, our new favorite. Second best was the California club which was our usual best and favorite, but this time it wasn’t. It wasn’t carefully made. Cuts were very uneven. Some slices didn’t even show. We had to cut them. Veggies were all over instead of a slice of tomato and avocado per slice of pizza. Greens were not spread evenly close to the edge but just mostly in the center. It still tasted good, but we just had to fix it to look like how it should. The chipotle pizza was just okay, but my kids like it. Overall experience, it’s just okay. Maybe, it’s just a lazy Sunday for the crew, and it’s almost closing time. My tip went down to 15% instead of my usual 20% though.

Went for dinner on a Saturday.. it was moderately crowded.. food was good but the service was disappointing.. we saw complimentary bread in other tables but our server never got it for us or asked if we want one.. we asked for an extra plate to share the pizza but she totally ignored it.. we sat in 2 person tables and they just kept entree plates on the table without taking out the appetizer plates even though the table is small.. fortunately we ordered just one appetizer so we could move our plates around to eat entrees ..Overall service was not up to the mark..Food was excellent.. no complaints..

My husband and I went to the California Pizza Kitchen for dinner tonight. We walked in and were seated immediately. We looked over the menu while waiting for our server to come. A family was seated right behind us two minutes after we sat down. The waitress went to their table, took their drink order and left. My husband made eye contact with the waitress, so we figured she'd take our order upon her return. She came back out with their drinks, took their meal order, and left again.We saw three servers in our area, not one came to our table to see if we had been helped (we didn't have any drinks so that should've been a clue). We ended up leaving once the family that came in after us received their appetizers. My husband told the host that no one served us, and we received an "Oh, sorry." We will not return to the California Pizza Kitchen.We went to the Honey Baked Ham Co. around the corner and had a fantastic meal and service. If you're in the Short Pump area, I recommend you go to the Honey Baked Ham Co. We've also had great food and service at Firebirds and Maggiano's.2/10/2024 Update -Someone reached out to us to state that they are looking into what happened and why we weren't served. I appreciate the update that we were provided and the effort to make sure this does not happen to anyone else going forward.

I ordered a takeout California Club pizza on August 18 afternoon, and received the nastiest avocado I’ve seen. I can’t believe they would serve this!! 🤢Edit:They contacted me to reimburse for this pizza. They explained that they had a bad batch of avocados, and are going to have staff meetings to discuss what to do about it.

I have a great experience each time I come to this location. The staff are friendly and it doesn’t take a long time to get my food. Younger children may not really care for anything here other than the pizza, but teens and young adults love the food here. Let’s not forget about the college kids.This time I decided to try the soup. I had he baked potato soup which was garnished with green onions and bacon pieces. It was delicious. I wish it had some more green onions and bacon pieces on top.The pepperoni pizza was great as usual. I love watching them make the pizza and cook it in the brick oven.The have wine, beer on tap, soft drinks, lemonades and tea.There’s a little something here for everyone.Stop by and have lunch or dinner. They also have carry out service.Don’t forget to sign up for Pizza Dough Rewards!!

I came to Visit this location in shortpump. This location had a Happy Birthday special. We ordered 2 pizzas and a special drink that was super delicious. Conveniently located inside short pump mall and tons of parking. Every time my family visits this location we eat here. We ordered pepperoni pizza and steak 🍕.

Had dinner tonight at CPK. Had a great experience sitting on the patio. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. We started off with the chicken lettuce wraps and had the bbq chicken pizza for dinner. Food was delicious and quick. Can’t complain about anything. Highly recommend.

CPK is a classic, and we’re lucky to have it out here in VA! My go-to since I was a kid is their Thai Chicken Pizza. It is sweet and savory, with the peanuts giving a beautiful complexity to the flavor, and the bean sprouts giving it a nice refreshing crunch. I also got their Strawberry Mango Cooler, which I recommend as well - it was tangy, bubbly, and refreshing. You can get their pizza to share with 2, or you can eat it all yourself if you’re hungry. They also have really good bread if you are staying at the restaurant to dine in. I got take out but either way it is made fresh. *chef’s kiss

This was my first time going here. I've had their frozen cauliflower pizza from three grocery store and when I heard they have added this to their restaurant menu I had to check it out. I wasn't disappointed at all. It was really good. The location is perfect, the staff was excellent. The only thing that I can complain about is that my husband and I ordered the same drink but his was virgin with no alcohol but mine tasted exactly the same as if it had no alcohol, the drink was a cucumber mint concoction.

Bougi pizza joint in the Short Pump Mall. No waiting time for us, but I suspect others weren't so lucky. Lots of pizza, pasta, and salads to choose from. I had the Sicilian pizza. Loaded with pepperoni, sausage, cheese and fresh herbs. It was hot and fresh so what's not to like? Our server was friendly and accomodating at first, but less available as the hour passed. The place was a bit noisy, but that's too be expected on a Christmas shopping night. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking for warmth and a decent meal.Kid-friendliness: Half size pizza for kids.

I got one of there spicy pizzas and it was actually spicy. I asked for thicker crust and it was still thin, but that was not a reason to not return. It was very delicious and still good walked up as left overs. The service was great, the food was delicious. There were screaming children in the restaurant that made the experience not as pleasurable. I was not disappointed and will be going back!
