Produce was seriously lacking and expensive. I went for watermelon. Watermelons were pale white and light green stripes and a generous estimation would be the size of a human head for 6.99! I was overcharged for a pack of blueberries that I purchased for 3.99. When I got home and unpacked, one dollar more than marked. I'd make a smaller section for produce with more quality produce. I'd also source from local farmers when possible. The rest of the store was fine, clean, well stocked and comparable prices, some prices lower, some higher as is typical with all stores.I didn't buy watermelon. I bought oranges, white grapes, avocado, and bananas.. The grape skins were tough, all the other fruit was good. I even looked at the packs of cut up pieces of watermelon, pale with water running out of the tray packs and almost half the price of the small pitiful whole watermelons, I passed. The employees were nice and checked me out in a timely manner. I would not recommend Grant's for produce quality nor produce prices.UPDATE 10.30.23 Store was MUCH improved from last visit. Merchandise/shelves displayed nicely. Helpful, professional, pleasant Employees. Produce looked fresher, well displayed. Very nice shopping experience better than before.Thank you for having such a nice, clean, well stocked store. The meat dept. looked good also, laid out nicely and competetively priced.Impressive improvement.Thank you

Great store with some great bargains. Friendly people. I was very happy to find some yellow cornmeal here, it is hard to find the yellow (my favorite) usally I can only find white cornmeal.

The bathroom for customers read dirty and one of the workers was using it. Not the associate one.

Waiting in line behind someone with a buggy full of groceries I ask the cashier if she could get another cashier because there was two others in line behind me. The cashier said she was the only one working. Funny, a man came out of the office and walked right past us never acknowledged us then approximately 3-5 minutes later another man came to the express lane the cashier looked at me and stated you can go around now.

Always friendly staff and very good prices......Don't agree with the 3 day sale always the last 3 days of the month.......Not everyone has money available all month long......People on a fixed income and food stamps barely live even when cutting every corner available to them..... So they always miss out on the great sales........ Only the Rich are getting Richer and the poor are getting poorer like this........If the lower class people had a chance to build up a little from time to time then they to could possibly get a little caught up and finally start to build up on the things they need in life also .... Just like the upper class......Please consider giving a fighting chance to the people who ACTUALLY need it........Thanks

This was the hands down worst experience ive ever had checking out at tgis store. Id give the review a zero if I could. They had a sale on and I tried using a digital coupon and for starters the cashier had no clue what he was doing. He finally entered the phone number for the coupon and it wouldnt take it. Finally some lady with a key came over and tried it she was flustered and rude.

Grant's comes in close for best grocery store around these parts. I don't like the layout of the store or how they have the food organized. And what really lost them a star is their higher-than-average prices with no easily discernable loyalty/savings card. Still, if you occasionally want variety, or if you discover Grant's carries an item your regular grocery store doesn't, then they're worth going to.

The only grocery store around that sells my favorite frozen treat. I'm not going to advertise what that is because they have a hard time keeping it in stock as it is.

Great place to do your grocery shopping, cause they try to keep their shelves full and their meat department is top notch. In my opinion their meat department is the best in the area.

Great meat prices, but this store needs an overhaul, especially new management. The cashiers at this location have NEVER been friendly. It is simply a case of poor customer service and among the worst of any store, retailer or grocer, that I have ever been to. Even if it is passing, meaningless small talk, a "Hi, how are you?" greeting is paramount in any job dealing with the public. For cashiers to be stone-faced with the glimpse of a frown during the entire checkout sequence, only speaking when they mumble your total, it is ridiculous. The manager never greets customers, either, and I surmise that she could learn a thing or two from the local Food Lion in that spectrum of things. I once witnessed her chastise an employee for not knowing a cucumber from a zucchini, which was highly unprofessional. The store needs to overhaul its entire base of employees or send each of them into training.

Other than sum of the frozen foods they moved up front in refrigerated area not being properly kept frozen/ temp control being so the boxes of the items wouldn't have gotten soggy enough to fall apart otherwise they would have gotten 5 stars.. Outta the 5 employees I came in contact w 3 was social, respectful n helpful the other two seemed to have a but up their butts but that's becoming more n more common these days

Their cantalopes are always best I don't get them anywhere else and they have awsome meat sales offen. Great place to shop just wish they had better selection of gluten free products . They are expensive anywhere but it be nice to get all I need in one place

The sale was great! But no baggers poor cashiers doing all she can. I do not shop and spend $250 to help bag and then fill cart up again!!!! Get some baggers!!! Guess I will have to find another grocery store Richlands Va Grants!!!

Some of there stuff is not to bad on price but a lot is twice the amount you pay any wear else. They do have good sales on there meat tho

On ANY given day, even management would rather step on you than speak. I'm meaning the Richlands store. They'll check your groceries out and ONLY words are ("52.68" etc)…no hello, no come back...I know their busy and I'm NOT there for full blown conversation either, BUT a little kindness goes a long way!!!

The staff at grants are always friendly willing to help with anything you need all you have to do is ask they always speak to you asking how are you doing, you don't get that in alot of ot b er stores. The prices at Grant's are good for people who are trying to watch their budget .

We were overcharged on 2 different items. Double checked prices before we bought.My husband looked over the ticket and could see that it was more than it should be. People that are retired on a fixed income cant handle this.
