My wife and I were staying in a cabin down the road and we were looking for places to eat and Sugar Mountain Bakery came up on our google maps. Our biggest mistake was buying only one cinnamon roll. BEST cinnamon roll Ever!!!!Can’t wait to come back to this hidden gem when we return to this amazing state of West Virginia. Ty SMB!

Everything here was AMAZING!! The donuts were so fresh they literally melted in our mouths!! The breakfast sandwiches and the pepperoni rolls were delicious!! The cold brew coffee was smooth and deliciousness!! I honestly don’t think there is anything bad you can get here. I’m so upset we were just passing through, this place is top quality! Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!!

Katie has been making me goodies for a few years now. When I heard she was finally living out her dream and opening up a bakery I was ecstatic! Everything she makes from sandwiches, donuts, cake pops, pretzels, even the coffee tastes amazing. The prices are very reasonable and affordable (especially the coffee).

The food is good yes but they are NEVER opened when they say they are online!! 2 different times in the past week my son has wanted to go there so i look them up online to make sure they are open and it says they are so we go down there and they are closed! If you run a business i think it’s important to have your hours actually reflect to when your actually open!

Stay away from here! It’s dangerous!I go in for a small Katie’s Cold Brew and end up with a large. The next thing I know I’m picking out donuts, getting cinnamon rolls, breakfast/lunch, and whatever else catches my eye!Everything is so delicious and all the sweets are decorated so perfectly. The store itself is always clean and beautifully decorated. Staff is friendly and greets you immediately upon entering. I just love this place. They have a really good variety of items so there’s literally something for everyone. I’m glad they opened up! Great business!Edit:Please never stop making the blueberry dream cookie things! Oh my gosh! So good!

This bakery is absolutely adorable! I ordered cupcakes for my sons first birthday and they were absolutely delicious!! The customer service and communication in regards to placing the order was fantastic! I even had to make a last minute change due to people not making it to the party bc of illness and she accommodated me wonderfully! I highly recommend getting your yummy treats here!

Sugar mountain is by far the best bakery I have ever been to! The owner is so personable and sweet. The food is always on point. My favorite is the coffee drinks! There doughnuts are always fresh and cute. My kids absolutely love this place. Katie has baked my twins and my daughters birthday cupcakes this year and I never had anyone not like them. Best and only local bakery I will go to anymore💕

This bakery is a MUST go to! Not only do they have the best in house baked goods but their coffee and ice cream selection is amazing. My kids absolutely love stopping in! Most recently I was also super impressed by their community service act. They had a fun day with a professional photographer with the Easter Bunny for FREE at the bakery!!

I drive 25 miles to get the best coffee and donuts around. I have tried almost everything at this bakery and it’s all absolutely delicious. The prices are good and the people are nice. Their donuts are absolutely the best I have ever had. They even beat all of the donut chain stores. The maple bacon donut is my favorite.Worth the drive from anywhere! 🍩

Sugar mountain is where my son likes to go to pick out treats for special occasions. He LOVES the donuts and the cake pops(mommy really enjoys the lemon blueberry ones 😁) but said next time he’s going for the ice cream because they have literally any topping you can think of. Great place. Friendly folks. Recommend highly.

Everything that Katie and her crew makes is fantastic!! My favorites are the iced Raspberry white Mocha and the pepper jack and ham rolls, but absolutely everything from there is amazing! Their food is good, but they do not care about potentially losing customers. For the second time, my mother a local around the bakery, had an order placed and was told they were not going to make the order because "she forgot she gave us tomorrow off". My mother asked "so are you saying I need to pick up my order today?" The response she was given was "No, we're just not going to make the order." To me, that isn't not customer service. The oder was not so large that it would've been the make or break for the time constraints.

By far the best donuts I've ever had!! They are so incredibly soft and taste AMAZING!!!The other food, sandwiches, wraps and salads, are also awesome!And the coffee is to die for. This is the best local spot to grab a coffee and sweet! I love their cold brew with cold foam and all of the sweets I’ve tried! Definitely recommend a stop here when traveling! I drive all the way fromBlacksburg! Very good love spot and they usually have a cute photo wall!!

This place is absolutely fantastic!! The staff are so nice and helpful. The donuts are the best!! Rather have them any day over anyone including dunkin or Krispy kreme!! The Reese piece are my kids favorite and so far mine is toasted coconut....until they come out with a new flavor anyways!!! The selection of ice cream is very good and the iced coffee is better than Starbucks!! I have not had anything here that wasn't top notch!!.......they have outdid themselves again!!! The pretzels are phenomenal!!!

This is absolutely hands down the best doughnut/coffee shop around this area! My favorite is the iced strawberry chocolate coffee and the blueberry loaf is amazing!
