Great experience getting my puppy from Hill Family Shih-Tzu! Puppy is very sweet. She is smart and confident and easy to train so far. Good value. Would get another puppy from Nancy! She is very knowledgeable and has tons of Shih Tzu experience.

This woman really knows her stuff. She is even featured in a book about Shih Tzus. I believe she’s been doing this approximately 20 or 30 years. She has her dogs checked by a vet. Communicates very well after the point of putting down a deposit. I have spoken to several breeders who try to pass off other mixed breeds as pure Breds, or pass off black and white pups as brindle. She is up front and honest on the phone. Super Knowledgeable, knows the difference between the colors and the ins and out of dilutes like liver, blue, dobies, etc. I trust this woman completely after my visit buying my mother a dog on Mother’s Day. She was patient with my mother and I as we couldn’t decide on a puppy for like 2-3 hours. I am super cheap and very hesitant to put a deposit down with anyone if I’m not picking a puppy up that day due to the scam artist I’ve run into, however, with her I felt comfortable and haven’t had a regret about it yet. She has been nice and accomidating and sent me two or three photos of the puppy as he grows. Typically once a week on a Wednesday or Thursday is when I ask for them. Which when you run a business can be a pain but she still takes the time to do it. As soon as she closes down her grooming business for the day she’ll send me photos.I have encountered a lot of scam artist and hi prices puppy mills. Let me tell you this lady is not that person. She cares about the dogs. Was able to tell me about the lineage of the dogs. She’s has them DNA tested for colors and diseases. Even had relative dogs there.Not to mention she’s a fantastic groomer. It’s a shame I live 2 and a half hours away or I’d probably take my pup there once I get him. I still might. I’m at week 4 after leaving a deposit and will update after I pick up the puppy. He is so cute.The point is she is trust worthy and honest. Knows her stuff. Fairly priced.
