This Service facility is like no other! From my initial phone conversation with Tabby, welcoming to the clean and fresh smelling office by Amanda and conversations with Tyler and Dennis. This team is AMAZING! I was in for a fuel filter and lube, Tyler identified that my trailer needed 2 tires and the steers were wearing abnormally. The team was able to put together the required proposals, get approvals and complete all the work within 4 hours. You couldn’t ask for a better group of people to service your vehicle! They even called their sister facility along my route and scheduled the re torque of my wheels!Thank you all for doing a great job!

Had my truck in this shop back in August last year with tire wearing issues on my drives and my truck was hard to keep in the road… I had my truck aligned 3 times in one year before they did the work on it out of 3 shops this was the best southern tire mart I’ve been to had 8 drives put on and they aligned truck perfect 8 months later tires has no wearing issues

My experience was very pleasant here I really appreciate Mandy and the manager that came in today Tyler tried and tried to get my truck going because he cared and we told the company I’m leasing from that this truck problem was a warranty issue but they insisted on Tyler to try welp tow truck comes in the am it was hot outside and they didn’t want me outside they wanted me to sit inside where it was cool thank you guys for being wonderful to me racist where? Charged me $641 to go to the Pilot 8 miles away and do 30 minutes of work and no parts. Considering they are the only shop allowed there, this is outragous! Stay away they are crooked

I went there to replace a blown trailer tire using my spare tire, which was already mounted on a rim. For an illogical reason, they directed me to enter through their exit, placing the rear axle driver’s side of my trailer out of sight from where the waiting area is in their office. While dismounting the tire, a wheel stud broke while removing a lug nut, which I found hard to believe, though I can’t prove they caused it. This mishap ended up costing me $145.55.I mentioned I was an RTS customer and provided my member ID to the lady at the desk, but she didn’t apply the discount on the labor rate to the final invoice. Although they did a good job replacing the tire and wheel stud, improving transparency and honesty in their pricing wouldn’t be a bad idea.

Second time posting, first post appears to have disappeared...We purchased diesel fuel on 7-26-19 in our semi and drove 200 miles,shut off truck to be unloaded and started truck back up. Then all problems began truck wouldn't idle ,misfiring and checked fuel filter it was black and fuel was blue/green. Called your location spoke with manager who transferred us to their shop, mechanic on duty once we told him the colors and what truck was doing stated you got fuel from a tank contaminated with algae. We are working on a claim, it will be interesting to see how they rectify the situation, being that only fill up at pilots.

Sometimes when you are treated professionally and like a business is really concerned about you & your situation- you just have to brag on them (or at least you should).The crew at Southern Tire Mart showed out tonight.I had voltage problems and it was diagnosed to be a bad alternator. It was replaced and I was ready to roll in about four hours which is unheard of. Meanwhile I witnessed four other drivers getting serviced and on their way as well.Kudos to you all! This is one the best shops that I have dealt with Tabby has always been very nice and has made sure she gets me in to get my truck fixed everytime Ive come in. I needed 4 new trailer tires, so I figured I'd give this place a try. Really down to earth and friendly people working there. Didn't even try to high pressure sales pitch me into buying anything expensive. There were a couple of drivers ahead of me, but I got into the shop quickly and they were done quickly. I went to southern tire mart in the pilot at Raphine VA. To tell them about an air leak which I had already told them about. I gave them the location of the leak. The technician checked it and said it will cost $900 to fix. I told them no it’s okay I’ll just figure out something else. Now they want $400 to release the truck because they “checked and advised”. They are threatening to call the police if I don’t pay. Wow 😢

We recently had a disappointing experience with Southern Tire Mart located inside the Pilot/Flying J truck stop in Raphine, VA. My driver woke up at this truck stop and noticed an air leak in the compressor during his pre-trip inspection. He quickly located the source of the leak and decided to approach Southern Tire Mart, conveniently situated on the property, to inquire about the repair cost.Upon entering Southern Tire Mart, my driver spoke to a lady behind the counter who promised to check and provide an estimate. When my driver asked about the cost of the inspection itself, she mentioned a minimum charge of one hour but assured him that if it took less time, she wouldn't charge for the full hour because she was "having a nice day." Though skeptical, my driver agreed and requested the repair cost once they determined the issue.After inspecting the parts, Southern Tire Mart concluded that the faulty part needed fixing and quoted a price of $900 plus tax. Surprised by the high amount, my driver mentioned that he had already contacted a Freightliner dealership in the neighboring town, who estimated the repair cost at $400, including both parts and labor. As a result, my driver politely declined their offer and intended to seek repairs elsewhere.To our astonishment, the lady at Southern Tire Mart became upset and insisted that my driver must pay $400 for the inspection or face the threat of having the vehicle detained, with the involvement of the police. My driver expressed his disagreement, stating that inspecting that particular part would only take a few minutes. However, the lady insisted that since her technician had disassembled the part (which was definitely unnecessary), a fee of $400 would be charged. She even told my driver to leave the shop and never return since my driver did not agree with this type of extortion method.Needless to say the hostile attitude of the employee was all recorded on camera.This behavior was absolutely appalling and unprofessional. After informing the general manager of the situation and indicating our intention to involve the appropriate regulatory authorities, Southern Tire Mart eventually backed down and released the truck for a significantly reduced fee of $70.It is disheartening to encounter such business practices, where establishments take advantage of drivers and truck owners who may not always have the time or resources to challenge inflated prices. This incident highlights the unfortunate reality that some service providers believe they can charge exorbitant amounts without consequence. It is crucial that customers and regulatory bodies remain vigilant to ensure fair and ethical treatment within the trucking industry.***The hostile behavior of the tire mart employee who wasn’t having such a pleasant day was recorded by my driver with his phone.

, next morning of the worst places I've been to for tire service. One person named Desiree, leaves for the day, next morning she's nir there, two new girls are in. I'm told they don't take appointments and doesn't leave a note for anyone that I'd be coming from the truckstop across the interstate for a used trailer tire, and that it would be a 2-2 1/2 hour wait, as they had a radiator job to complete. I don't understand why a tire shop is even getting involved with those types of jobs even their business is tires. Ended up going further north to another tire shop who got me in and hour in just over an hour.Not happy at all!!

I usually write only bad reviews. I needed a brake chamber replaced, and this shop was the only one I could find that could get me in within a reasonable timeframe. The estimated wait time was accurate, and the mechanic got me in and out in a timely manner. Definitely an A+ experience.
