Do not come to this foodlion. The better one is right around the corner. The burnt toothless employee told me I couldn't buy alcohol because my child was with me. So I left my full cart next to her and went to the other store where they have manners and common sense.

Stopped in randomly on a road trip. Store was clean and bright. bathrooms were very clean, especially for a grocery store. Lots of items on sale and BOGO. Staff was courteous!

I can't express how thankful I am to all of the people who work here. They go above and beyond to help me out whenever I come in with my two toddlers. Most people with dread going to the grocery store with two crazy little boys but I always feel welcome even on our hardest days.

Store was clean and well stocked. Meat department was well organized and all meat looked to be fresh. Couldn't locate an item, went to a manager for assistance. Instead of telling me where to look, he took me and pointed out the item. Clerks were friendly and bagged my groceries appropriately without making the bags so full I would be afraid the handles would break. I will definitely return.

Great store. Not huge but lots of merchandise well organized and clean. Friendly staff.Updated July 2022 -- This Food Lion isn't large, but they have a better selection of some products that I can't seem to find at the larger store, that's just around the corner. Store clean. Multiple registers open and friendly cashier. Great store.

I personally prefer the Food Lion down the street and around the corner. This location has a better Organics section. Everything else is pretty standard. Great quality in the produce section. I also love that they have the mini shoppers-in-training carts.

It's pricey. And we returned Food Lion brand coffee which was supposed to be double your money back (showed it right on the label) and they refused to refund correctly. Eggs are the best deal on town.

Clint that rang us up didn't say anything except here when he gave us the receipt. Would have been same if I had used the self check out. Store has good pricing if you do not need any help would be a good trip.

Great grocery store in a small town. Food is fresh except the raspberries. They usually end up bad with fuzz growing in less than two days. That is the only item that I don't buy at this store. All other produce is very fresh.

This is my neighborhood Food Lion. It's where we always go. It's really easy to get all your stuff, and all of their cashiers are very friendly. The layout is pretty simple and they have a good variety of stuff. They also have an amazing fry person who does the most awesome chicken tenders I've ever tasted

I was there 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. on New Years Eve and it was a normal busy for a friday. Always organized and clean and neat, and the staff is helpful and friendly. And they carry a good selection of products.

Not enough cashiers ! 1:30 PM and only 2 cashiers on duty. At least 6 customers in each line ( oposit sides of store ), waited in line twice as long as I shopped. Isles cloughed with unattended product. I like shopping here but u can do better.

I'm not sure if I was in the Quinton Food Lion at a time when everyone had just cleaned out the shelves of food or whether this store obtaining food and stock for whatever reason. There is still not one roll of toilet paper on the shelves??? Meat and produce was scarce also, again or still. I prefer to shop local but this store appears inadequate.

It would be nice when not busy if the cashier would help unload the groceries for you...other than that my shopping experience is always a good one..I only shop the Quinton store on 249 which makes it nice...

Always an adventure. You can't swing a cat by its tail without hitting someone you know. Staff is wicked friendly and helpful. Their marketing dept got it right. This is OUR neighborhood FL.

I am at this Foodlion at least once a day. I hate how the Employees are ALWAYS outside sitting on the bench Smoking. I hate the smell and it makes me feel I'll. If you want to let your employees have smoke breaks send them outside of the back receiving door on a picnic table there's No Reason I need to be bombarded with this disgusting smell.

Not a fan of this location Food Lion. Employees wasn't very friendly. Shelves was pretty sparse. Layout is way different then other locations.

It's the only grocery store on the monopoly board here - and just went you think that you're getting a new grocery store, <enters> another Food Lion. (Or new level of class with Dollar General every 3 miles).Same stuff, no variety for people who want to eat healthier. But if this food lion runs out of poptarts, there's a duplicate 2 miles away to try your luck.

New Kent has three Food Lions. This is my second favorite! They usually keep most things stocked and are all so kind here! I only prefer the "Bloom" Lion because of interesting and odd finds!

Its just your average food lion grocery store BUT if you are looking for vegetarian or vegan style frozen foods look elsewhere. EDIT: they have started offering more veg/vegan foods, even offering vegan ice cream from Ben&Jerrys..bumped up to 4 stars
