Staff is nice. Pretty decent selection. A small but decent movie section up front at register and on the other side at the wall. School supplies, home needs food, decorations, HDMI Cables, hygiene products, ect. You want it they probably have it.

The Dollar General located in Quinton, VA is nice with a lot of products and a pleasant staff member. I went there to purchase a gift card and was told by this staff member debit/credit cards were no longer accepted as payment for gift cards due to "cloned" cards being used. Is this policy accurate?

Walked in to see cashier on her phone - 2 times in last few months that 2 different cashiers rolled their eyes when i walk up to check out. They dont want to ve bothered ringing up merchandise. I wonder if this store realizes money is made if people buy their product,which requires the cashier they hire to check you out? Without the eye rolls and grunts? Useless skin suits standing around to get paid for doing nothing? I find them to be disrespectful at best. Store is an absolute mess. Dirty,unorginized, and unwilling employees - what could be better? 🤣 this store doesnt deserve a 1 more like -10. Go elsewhere if you would like to have a nice experience.

Employees are friendly and helpful but the store isn't always stocked or organized as you'd hope for. My last trip they were out of 2/5 things I went for. Clorox bleach and Purina cat food. I usually have a better experience here than other DGs tho, so that's something.

The place is packed with all kinds of stuff. Definitely better than the dollar store. You can get brand name things for super cheap! They have almost anything you can think of for a general store. SN: they have Virginia Tech apparel here.

I went in needing a couple of things specifically, and the shelves were, as usually, empty. I work in this industry and if my place of work were this bad everybody would be fired. I have no expectations of anything when I go in anymore, so that's why I don't go in very often. You folks have a pretty good thing going here, price wise, so how about looking out for your clientele.

The medicinal aisle was a hot mess. I found everything I needed, but out of 5, only 2 were in correct place. I'm giving 4 because it is, after all Dollar General and they have very helpful and nice employees that are run ragged trying to do everything.

Dollar General is a good place to shop. Even though small they adhere to all these crazy covid rules. If you only want a few things the store is not too big and you can find just about everything and it is all reasonably priced

Great,, friendly staff, holiday cards are much less expensive here than at a grocery store, Target, or Walmart. Opens at 8am during the week which fit my schedule perfectly! Thanks!

My experience at this particular DG is disappointing. This location is very close to my home but I most time have some kind of issue. Whether it's the wait time to get checked out due to short staffing or staff is busy stocking. The aisles are usually crowded and last night the card machine was not working so I could not get credit for the digital coupons. This alone has happened more than not. Very disappointed

The new dollar general stores are purposely going into communities where very little was available in the areas. Small, low cost buildings bring items to people cheap as possible. While a bit cramp, it is because they maximize usable space. I would like to think they did it for the people as much as for profit :)

This is actually the most cluttered store I have ever been in!!! They have a isle that has clearance items in it that my daughter and myself almost fell down as we could barely get out of the actual isle, there was so much stuff just packed in it in bins. It's actually pretty unsafe!!!

This is a great place to go. Some are cleaner and better stocked then others. Some it is a challenge to walk down the aisles. The staff at all of them have always been helpful and kind.

No shopping carts available....employees not very helpful when a customer comes in and ask where something was the cashier shouldn't say "I don't know just go look for it"..all shopping carts full of inventory for the employees to put away. looked really sloppy

I frequent this store quite often and I always find what I need and the cashiers are really nice, especially the guy named Vincent. He’s always so friendly and very helpful!!

Every time I have been there, the employees were very nice, friendly, and helpful. Especially Jo Jo and Destiny. Being disabled, it is a good place to go and be offered help if I need it.

Right off the exit and no big issues but the one just up NK highway 3 or 4 minutes is more tidy

Random stuff in the aisles and shelves that aren't stocked combined with staff that spend more time in the back than they do at the register when customers are waiting makes this place somewhere I don't enjoy going to..

I don't know whats been going on recently, but the DG in Quinton is closed all the time. Tried to stop there today around noon and the place was locked up.

Won't be going here anytime soon. Most customers and employees not wearing masks. Aisles are too tight for any type of social distancing and people don't care to crowd up.
