I’ve eaten here 3 times in the past 2 weeks because the first time I dont know what it was but the hamburger and fries were so good I kept thinking about them, so I had to go back the next week! service. There is wonderful and it is competitively priced cheaper than getting fast food and much better ambiance and friendly service!Parking: Parking available in front or at last along the streetKid-friendliness: Casual atmosphere seating available at tables and kid friendly foods, also a seating area with checkers table.

We were the only people in there, and the waiter still never came by to see if we needed anything as in refills because he was too busy on his phone.. The fried pickles was definitely different from any I've ever had before but not in a good way and when we ordered kids' meal chicken strips I expect like actual chicken strips it was a thin chicken patty they cut into peices. But now their Jumbo shrimp was soo good 👍.

Came in on a Sunday. Four people seated. Ordered NY Strip (medium) with green beans, sweet potato fries with water. Steak came out still cold in the middle, zero seasoning on it, and smelled like old cooking oil. Green beans may as well have been mashed potatoes but tasted okay. Sweet potato fries had little taste.Never offered a refill, sat and waited with an empty plate and glass for 10-15 minutes before I was offered the check. No refill offered then either.Cook was a nice guy. He came out of the kitchen to check on the steak. Was very accommodating when I told him it was still cold in the middle.Won't be returning.

My brother and I would walk from Ohio to visit this place if we had too. The beer is cold, the food is great, and Mrs K the owner is AWESOME!Try the Command Post burger!!!!

This place needs a jukebox or some kind of music device. Also would benefit if it had darts or pool tables. The atmosphere needs to be brighten and to attract more customers. As for the food, my ceaser salad with steak, well the steak was over cooked, never asked me how I wanted the steak and it had the taste of old oil, not even seasoned properly.

This was by far one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a very long time, ordered pork chops, 16 wings, sweet potato fries and onion rings. The fries were cooked to perfection with just the right amount of crunch and amazing sweet after taste. Onion rings practically melted in my mouth with the first bite. The wings were enormous and had the perfectly crispy skin and great flavor. The pork chops had a great smoky taste and the seasoning couldn’t have been better, and to top it all off, great customer service, highly recommended

I gave this place 2 stars because it was a little lacking after reading some of the other reviews. The coffee was burnt and was pretty tart. The bright spot was that the command post burger was well cooked and tasted good. The ketchup bottle at our table was bloated and looked over refilled. When used it came out orange. Finally we waited a very long time for the bill. Overall not to pleasant an experience. I would not come back for lunch. Maybe another meal or time could yield better results or services as there seemed to only one person running the front and kitchen.

I had a great experience here last night. Big TV’s with golf and NBA to watch as I enjoyed a cocktail. The food I had was great! I thought the fried flounder was well seasoned and the overall dish was flavorful. Everything came out hot and well prepared. I will return!7/6 I had their chicken fingers and I enjoyed them. One can tell they are made in house. Not a packaged chicken finger you microwave. No, this is a well seasoned strip of chicken with good seasoning. The onion rings are great, not a store bought item. Nothing has that “caked up” batter taste to it. I like it! I’m glad Q-Town has a added another good restaurant to it. We deserve it!!

I had been to Quantico to get my uniform tailored at the Marine Shop. I stopped across the street to the Command Post Pub. It has been an icon for years and has changed hands a couple of times. The recent owners are two Korean-American ladies. The food is outstanding. At least my favor is the salad with salmon. Extremely delicious with the vinaigrette dressing. The beer selection is very good. My favorites are the Devils Backbone and Three bears and a goat. Both are Virginia breweries. Overall you will enjoy the Command Post Pub. Highly recommended.

The food was so so, but it gets one star for the awful service we received by the waitress on 11 sep 2021 at 11am. The lady is more interested in flirting with the men at the bar and playing on her phone than actually doing her job. The burger was poorly made. And the ceaser salad had a horrid taste and didn't come with croutons, normally it would just be a send it back problem but the waitress decided to throw a tantrum and get into an argument with us. She needs to find a new line of work because clearly customer service isn't it for her.

Another quick trip to Q-town and another special surprise. Command Post Sports Bar is a very welcoming and comfortable place to grab a bite to eat and a chilly cold brew of your favorite beverage. The food here was great, the beer was chilly, but the hospitality was amazing. The staff were very attentive and had some great banter to pass along the time. Definitely recommend for anyone passing through or locals to the Quantico area!

Lousy food, terrible lighting, and sticky floors. Dry bread, flavorless, boring burgers and sandwiches. Food delivered in dirty woven baskets with food debris stuck to the outside. The floors are covered in thin layer of sticky film. Will not go again.

Not worth the money- arrived 4:30 on Tuesday afternoon and my husband and should have known to turn around when we were the only ones there. $26.00 for Two beers, chicken bites (4 small skewers with sauce) and a non attentive lady we had to go into kitchen to find just to get bill. Also- the menus had clearly not seen a cleaning in sometime as they were sticky and nasty to touch.

This is a rare place where if the food and service is bad and you complain, they threaten you with your chain of command. I am glad I EAS'd. 😆 As a former SNCO I expect professionalism and to get what I pay for. This place does not do either.

Stopped in here on a whim. Glad we did. Food was good, beer was cold, atmosphere pleasant and the waitstaff was on point. Good selection on the menu. By far the best stop in downtown Q-town.

One of the worst experiences I have personally had. Way understaffed, waited exactly 43 minutes to receive my drink and patiently waited for a second but it never did come. A simple dinner and 2 drinks took 2+ hours. Will not be coming back!!!!!

Service was sub par and I did not finish my food on my second visit. It was not good...Chilling the glasses and a more attentive staff would go far. The food needs the most help.Chilling/freezing the glasses and keeping the beer cold would greatly help.
