The place was super quiet on Sunday morning, not many people inside other than staff working on inventory. I got almost all I needed but not everything was available on sizes or portions that I needed. It was super clean inside and outside the building, they can definitely use a self checkout option as I had to wait for someone to help me ring my stuff... not a biggie as I was not in a hurry but it can get annoying eventually.

I had a prescription called in by 11 AM. I called to check on it at 2:15 PM and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I went to pick it up at 3:30 PM, I was told it was not ready, but would be in 20 minutes. No apology. No prescription. Just poor customer service.When I was able to pick up the prescription around 5 PM, I overhead another customer voicing concern about her prescription not being ready, but no one communicating that information to her.In my experience with this pharmacy and based on the conversation I overhead, this type of service is far more the norm than the exception.

Their Pharmacy and vaccinations department are completely disorganized and poorly communicative. I had appts scheduled for the flu shot for all 6 of my family members. We waited 1hr to be seen and 5 of those appt times had passed by. I asked at the 45min mark how much longer and their response was that they were making the kids' accounts and didn't forget about us. Then we waited another 15min, again with absolutely no communication on their end and I couldn't wait any longer. I went back up to the counter, the employee had absolutely nothing to say so I told them to canceled all our appts and give me my cards back. No apology, nothing. Biggest waste of time and poor communication on their end. I will never return, ever.

The place was clean and all. I went in to get a flu shot and usually I go to the one in Winchester to get mine but since i was headed towards dc I decided to stop here to get it. I had registered online so I didn’t have to worry. But when I got here today the person giving me the shot was telling me to sit down when I was asking him where to put my sweatshirt. He kept saying “please sit down” in which he kept rudely interrupting me. After that he told me to stay in the pharmacy for 10-15 minutes although I had just gotten a flu shot. But at the one in Winchester they said I could just leave or stay around.

Friendly staff, but picking up prescriptions is an adventure. Sometimes they are ready, other times, despite having the prescriptions called in a few days earlier makes no difference, they only start to fill once you are there waiting. Appears to be insufficient staffing.

The nicest lady (I think her name was Kathi Lee) help me return a package via Fed Ex. She had a lot going on and was still so helpful and made my Walgreens experience so great. She didn’t get stressed out with the long lines and focused on helping me. I really appreciate her help.

If this was the last pharmacy on the planet I would rather die than go here again. When you have to wait for an hour every time you go in, perhaps it's time to change Pharmacies. I have been using this Walgreens since 2017. It's always been disorganized and service is ALWAYS SUPER SLOW. This week they decided to delete my VERY IMPORTANT psychiatric medicine, as if I have never been on it. I am done. I've moved to CVS near my work and they are filling my script. No issues, no wasted time. I feel like I deserve all the time back I've wasted in line.

The absolute WORST pharmacy in the planet. If you value your time, go elsewhere. Believe me when I tell you that you will NEVER spend less than 20 minutes at this pharmacy. I have never spend less than 40 myself and the record of the longest I have waited for ONE medication has been a whooping 87 minutes !! Staff is nice but I incredibly slow and … so ignorant of their own systems. It is so frustrating to deal with this pharmacy.

I called the store twice today and both calls I was on hold for 2 HOURS before the call got cut off. I'm trying to find out why a prescription has not been filled yet😡. UPDATE: They were responsible for a 4 day delay in transferring a prescription to another store. Pharmacy does not answer the phone due to "short-staff".

Manager was rude when calling for assistance. I understand that everyone is short-staffed these days, but when the app tells you that you cannot get your prescription without calling in, and then you call and sit on the phone for 1 hour and 16 minutes, the manager could try to be helpful. Customer service is abysmal these days and this is just one more example.

If I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would. They have gone from mediocre to truly unbearably bad in recent months. It is impossible to talk to a human there over the phone. I have been on hold for over an hour and a half this morning trying to check on the status of two RXs that have been in process for five days. The lines in store and in the drive through are insane and slow, and now they have reduced hours to 10am-6pm for the winter. They can't get things done in the original hours, so sure, shorten them and become even less competent. The staff is friendly and it's not their fault, but I'm done with his pharmacy.

I had a good give zero stars I would. This is the second time my teenage daughter has expressed to me that the employees in the store treat her like she’s a criminal and that she’s stealing things for no reason. She was told that she needed to tie her dollar dollar tree bag (I had craft supplies in it) in order to shop around the store “for her safety”. What does that even mean? When I called a manager to talk about it, I was met with a bad attitude and a very condescending tone of voice. Terrible customer service.

Pharmacy takes FOREVER to get anything done. Despite having 4-5 people in the pharmacy at all times, only one person is ever at the register. I’ve started timing how long it takes to pick up my prescriptions. Average wait time for me is 45 minutes. What do I do while standing in a line for the better part of an hour, you ask? I watch all the other pharmacy employees standing around chatting! Instead of doing their jobs! Wait times in the drive-thru are just as bad. I have never been to a pharmacy this slow and dysfunctional.

Every time I come here there is a line and an incredibly slow moving line at that. My child’s prescription was called in 24 hours ago. I get to the window and they tell me it’s not ready yet and could I circle around. By this time I had waited in line for 30 minutes and there were more cars behind me than when I got in line. He told me it would be fast. What a joke. This is not the first time I’ve had to wait an absurdly long time. I will never fill a prescription here again. Too much hassle.

Just don’t come here. Do anything you can to avoid this store. I’m so annoyed at Walgreens. I waited in a long line to get a to the desk for the passport photo, and they said to wait by photos, so now they are checking out every customer before they get to me. Even though I already waited in the line. If I waited in the line, I should be seen. Now the line just keeps growing, and I can tell the workers are stressed and understaffed.

If I could give a -5 star rating, I would. Horribly, managed. I’m so big on supporting local and just cannot do it with this particular Walgreen’s location. So convenient by location but always a negative experience. Specifics… where do I begin?

Today was the final straw for Walgreens, Purcellville, VA. My husbands oncologist tried to call in Plaxovid twice on Sunday to treat his covid. Put on hold 2 times 7-10 minute wait, while he was trying to take care of very sick patients in the hospital. Finally, had to go back to his office and E-file the RX. Not processed but pharmacy on Sunday. Called store Monday morning. On hold for 30 min. Finally hung up and went to store. Waited in line another 20 minutes. Told it was being processed and would be ready in 5 min. 30 minutes later, I got back in line and waited some more. Then clerk told me the med was “out of stock”!!!!!!!!! I found the medicine at Harris Teeter and finally got it at 11:30am. 20 hours after Dr prescribed. Not good for an 87 yr old with cancer and heart issues. This is totally unacceptable. BTW my husband has had all(5) COVID vaccines. Most at Walgreens! I will not shop there again.

I haven't ever experienced something like what happened to me here. I ran in to grab a few things like toothpaste, toilet paper, etc.. and as my ADHD brain was trying to process what else I needed, a worker came and stood directly behind me, in my space, less than a foot from me, repeatedly scanning something in her hand as if she was watching me to ensure I wasn't stealing anything. I have an autoimmune disease and try to keep my distance in stores so I understand how she could think I was stealing, but maybe watch me from a distance and not get directly behind me as if you're belittling someone? I went to the next row over to pull out cash I just got from the ATM to show I had plenty to pay for what I needed, not a second later this same girl walked past me twice and apologized while it seemed an older lady, maybe her manager, just stared me down. I was needing to get more things but I was so uncomfortable and shaking because of how angry that situation had made me I just walked out. Looking at all the reviews now it doesn't surprise me. That workplace seems like a joke instead of a store. Annoyed I have to change my pharmacy💔 do better

I wish i could give zero stars and that I hadn't waited so long to find another pharmacy. WORST customer service ever - agree with everyone the wait times are horrendous and I would say probaly 60-70% of the time my orders are never ready when I should be. Average wait time on phone is 10 mins. Overall, this place has no management but thankfully there are other pharmacies in pville.

Horrendous service. Slow and inattentive phone lines. Poor management of records. I’ve had prescriptions sent here just for the pharmacy to claim they never received anything. So I’ll try to get the prescription sent to a different pharmacy instead, and the different pharmacy won’t be able to fill it because they’ll have records of it being previously sent to the Walgreens. This location should not be in business. Don’t waste your time here, go to Purcellville Pharmacy. Small business reigns supreme.

Terrible service. Waited 1-1/2 hours for flu vax. Checked in 15 minutes early & waited and waited and waited. Asked clerk how much longer & she said they would call us soon. The pharmacist finally comes out to say the previous pharmacist left without telling her people were waiting. Seriously rude! Once in the room the vaccination process went quickly & we were done in 5 minutes. If we hadn’t been checked in I would have left. I just wasn’t sure how that would affect insurance process for free vax for my child & I. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

The whole staff at the pharmacy desk is wonderful but especially the sandy blonde guy who works at the pharmacy desk always makes my day! He always does his best to fix my messes with insurance and my doctor and does whatever possible to get my prescription to me asap! He is also super friendly and remembers my name and greets me no matter how long the line. The whole staff does such a good job despite all the tech difficulties going on currently. I appreciate y’all walgreens <3

Not enough staff to run the business. Recently I waited 20 minutes in the drive through before anyone even said they would be with me shortly. The line is almost always very long. Just about any time of day. It takes forever to get them in the phone to correct a prescription mistake that they made. Now I guess I have to go back and wait in line to get it fixed. They gave me the incorrect prescription.

The pharmacy consistently has at least 4 or 5 (sometimes more) people filling prescriptions in the back with 1 person at the register. Always fast at filling prescriptions and absurdly slow at dispensing them. It’s taken more than 30 mins in line on multiple occasions and watching people give up and leave the line and give up is a common occurrence.Recently they’ve been a bit better with 2 people working the register but that is by no means the norm.

Wow so extremely frustrated. I got my first dose of the vaccine at this Walgreens, at which time I made an appointment for my second dose. Just went in to get my second dose and had to wait in line for 25 minutes. When I finally got to the front of the line and told them I had an appointment, they told me “sorry, the pharmacist isn’t in anymore, you’ll have to reschedule.” I explained that I had an appointment at 1 o’clock to which she responded “well it’s 1:30” to which I responded that I’d had to wait in line for half an hour. Nope, too bad, you have to reschedule. So frustrating and ridiculous. No apology, just attitude. Don’t go here, trust me. Terrible customer service. They will make a mistake and blame the customer.

The pharmacy at this Walgreens is the absolute worst. Horrendously slow lines in the store as well as at the drive-thru. Completely disorganized, and staff is untrained, inexperienced, and rather apathetic. Believe the bad reviews here...there are accurate. Further proof can be found simply in the fact that people have had such a bad experience that they have felt compelled to leave a review for a Walgreens. Not a hotel. Not a restaurant. A Walgreens.

Terrible people working here, I think they like upsetting people. They get satisfaction out of it, it's actually disturbing. Iv been going here for 10 years, and Iv noticed it's gone down hill, whomever is running the pharmacy find something else your not good at it, and your not qualified to run a pharmacy. We as residence deserve better.
