I really love Giant Foods, I wish we had one thay was closer to Chesterfield VA. Lots of gluten free, dairy free options. Bathroom was immaculate, but didn't have a garbage bin in the stall. Women of child bearing age, women with bladder leakage, ostomies would love of there was a bin in the stall.

The store (location and inventory) is fine, but their staff are rude. Heaven forbid you tell them about an issue in their store, they take it personally, get upset, and walk away from you. Simply told the check out lady that their scan-it software wasn’t working. She got snippy and said it’s the weather (it’s a beautiful sunny day today, literally not a cloud in the sky), grabbed the scan-it gun from me, and marched away. Not the first time I’ve encountered one of their employees “having a bad day”. Just fair warning, get in, get out, and don’t expect any measure of customer service from the employees.

The store looks fantastic. It’s updated now. All the employees are very professional and friendly. Thank you to everyone that works at the pharmacy. Christina on register 12 today 10/15/2022 was very polite and professional. They have 2 electric vehicle chargers here. Update: on 2/8/23 I frequented this establishment to purchase some Mitchum deodorant, an associate by the name of Terry went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me. Everyone who works here is the best crew. Would recommend this Giant.

Hello fellow review reader! LOL! I am a 79 year old woman residing in the great town of Purcellville, VA and Giant is the place you can always find me at, fellas ;) I had the opportunity the other day to meet the fabulous Samantha at checkout and she is FAN FLIPPIN TASTIC!!!!! She greeted me with a beautiful shiny smile and asked me how my day was goin. We talked about the beautiful Tufted Titmouse I saw outside my window this morning, and I found out that she is a bird fanatic just like myself!!!! We bonded over my favorite bird, the Red-Throated Loon, which happens to be her favorite bird too!!!! Samantha bagged my groceries in RECORD TIME. Her hands were so dang speedy! I was all packed up in a flash!!! I hope I get the chance to be blessed by Samantha many more times in my life!!! Just moved here and we are negatively surprised with the quality of the meat in this supermarket. You can never have your choices of meat, the gentleman working there did not have any proper knowledge and the quality of the meat is nothing to write home about. Attached pictures illustrate the amount of fat packaged and hidden in the meat package!!!! What a shame? Took a almost a pound of fat hidden underneath the meat!$7.99 a pound...NOT GOOD BUSINESS! perhaps for them but not for us the customers!

The minute I saw Avocados (regular size) at $2 A PIECE, I walked out. They’re 0.69c at Aldi. Do yourself a favor and drive to Leesburg, it’s worth it. Prices here are insane. Service is bad and they’re always out of cat food cans..

I am not sure why they are having so many problems at this store, but it's really gone down hill. They now have only one set of doors open they say because of theft. They have also managed to make the self check out even less convenient. Now you have to pause between each scanned item. Maybe they could hire some employees again and have checkout people if they are going to make self checkout more inconvenient. Harris Teeter 1/2 mile away doesn't seem to have any of these problems.

Accessible motorized carts here are ancient and often not charged. The store supposedly has social distance policies and nobody enforces them and some of the customers are super rude about it.One surprising plus about this store is that they actually have a wide variety of selection on several items, more so than some of their nearby competition.

Shopped here during the holidays. They were out of several things that I would normally buy, and prices were higher than where I am from. But the store was clean, and the staff were friendly.

Custom Bakery Cupcake Cake. Stephanie from the bakery was absolutely phenomenal in helping me get a custom birthday cake made on short notice. The entire bakery team was awesome! Highly recommend going to see Stephanie for all your bakery needs.5 Stars because it won't let me give 6 Stars!

I love the changes they've made here recently! The renovations were much needed for a more modern look. They've added a better selection of foods and the cashier even asked me if I wanted paper or plastic bags! I really like shopping here now whereas before it was just the place I had to go to save a little money, ha! Thank you Giant!

I have shopped primarily ar Giant since moving to Purcellville over 13 years ago. But just had an interesting experience. I watched as the lady in front of me was helping the young man checking her out by bagging some of her own groceries. When he finished ringing her up he stood there and watched as she completed bagging the rest. She commented “I thought I was just helping out.” But he never made a move to assist, while I waited for my turn. He did the same with my groceries—he stopped scanning and stood there until I had things into my cart giving him room to slide scanned items along. So is this the new protocol for manned Giant check out lines? I go to the manned lines because I’m elderly with a number of health issues. Sometimes it’s hard for me to simply do the shopping. And even without those problems, having an employee stand and pick his nails while a customer is bagging their groceries without help will be enough to make me switch (ugh) to HT.

The Giant website and rewards program seems to be having issues or growing pains, but the customer service has been so helpful making sure they honor the deals. Thank you so much for helping me get great deals on food. It is nice to have a friendly local place to shop.

I personally like shopping at Giant. They usually have everything that I need. Have shopped at a Giant for many years. It's organized to where I can find what I need. Big stores are too overwhelming to me.

When we order from grocery pickup, the boars head deli meat is always out of stock. Then we go into the store and are able to buy it from the deli counter. Looks like lazy people doing grocery pickup and they don't want to fill the entire order.

Overall it was a clean well stocked neatly arranged store with helpful knowledgeable and friendly employees however getting through the self checkout was proven to be challenging as there's not enough space for your groceries and you have to put them in the car to allow for more room which makes for an employee needing to come and assist you and restart the self scan this happened five times and the course of $100 purchase which was extremely annoying for the employees as well as myself

Two grocery stores in town and I definitely prefer this Giant over Harris Teeter. They did a remodel/update a little bit ago so still trying to find everything, but they have better meat selection and their produce is waaaay fresher.

The staff can be rude and unhelpful. I've witnessed a younger lady behind the service counter being very condescending to a customer all while holding a smile on her face then laughing at the same customer when she walked away, when she thought no one was looking. Don't get a job where you have to be around people if you're not good with people. I don't know her name but she probably shouldn't work there. I believe she was some type of supervisor over the late summer night shift. Truly Unexcusable behavior.

I went in today to purchase some Mott's apple juice, there was none on the shelf. So I politely asked the store manager, a tall guy wearing glasses resembles buddy Holly, he replied, what you see is what we have. Great customer service.

All the workers in this Giant have that type of entitlement tone that makes EVERY trip here a dreadful task. I love the town of Purcellville, but this grocery store seems like it belongs in WV, not Loudoun County. Not only do I pay an arm and a leg for 2 days worth of groceries, this store stinks of bad attitude, old ladies that hate their lives and more old ladies that wish they could just retire already; complaining about their jobs in front of customers, making people feel bad for simple misunderstandings about per pound sales on the fruit and just flat out making their customers feel bad for asking questions or existing. Went in a few weeks ago for a red bull and a bag of chips, and the lady had to ring these items up four times, delete items that were not there, charged me for multiple Red Bulls then had to process a return.. Nothing but bad vibes and unhappy workers at this store. Get better!

I want to thank the pharmacy staff for the fantastic job they are doing handling the vaccine distribution. Your staff must be getting inundated with requests. When I called everything was handled so efficiently. Just wanted to leave some well deserved thanks for all that your pharmacy staff is handling. Juggling everything that goes on with the pharmacy and adding the vaccination effort on top of it is a massive undertaking and you all are doing a fantastic job and really helping our community. The store could use a facelift... However, the store had everything I needed. FYI....the store has plenty of 75% off bargain opportunities in a number of sections in the rear isles. They are reduced sale products for quick sale. Which I just love. They want to turnover for any number of reasons and priced low enough for me want to try a new brand. Please keep it up.

Very unpleasant atmosphere, carts full of cardboard and trash everywhere except no carts available outside the store that aren’t stuck together. It seems like they don’t use any of there money to buy proper carrying equipment for there products and just use there carts instead, making the store look trashy.
