This location is terrible. The staff is even worse, rude, unorganized and unfriendly. Will definitely be moving locations. Automatic voicemails sent out for 4 days telling you your prescriptions are ready when you go to pick them up they accuse you of having the wrong name or the dr not calling it in. Literally it makes no sense. They can’t even get a monthly script correct without having to come back days later or they have it the whole time filled and can’t find it. Never go here if you actually need your medication.

Drive thru pharmacy employees are utterly useless. Multiple times we've received text messages that the prescription is available to pickup, only to be told we'd need to wait 30-45 minutes each time.Go somewhere else.

I would actually like to rate this store and it’s staff at a negative star. Not getting prescriptions correct…always something out of stock and says it’ll be in the next day and it isn’t. Filling prescriptions incorrectly. Make sure you check your prescription for the correct amount before leaving the pharmacyCheck that the price is correct. I’m not the only one who has issues with CVS in Powhatan. I’m definitely transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy 👎🏼

Well CVS finally has made me move my prescriptions to another pharmacy. My Dr office called them to talk about my prescription because I got a message it was too early to fill. It was a change in my dose. That’s why the Dr office called. My office called me and they said they will fill it. Right after that phone call I got a text saying the wouldn’t fill it. Thank goodness I could cover the higher dose. So they lied to my Dr office. I went to my new pharmacy and it was the difference as night and day. I will be so much happier.

We always have problems with prescriptions here. I could go on and on about how bad the service is here. I wish Walgreens would build right next to them so we had another option. The other day my doctor sent a prescription over. I saw on my app it was in process. I received a text they were finding a substitution because they didn’t have mine in stock. I went the next day to pick up knowing it had been 24 hours. They had no records of any prescription for me. They had lost it and all they said was, call your doctor and have her resend it. This was on a Saturday so of course I couldn’t call my doc till Monday. Also, I don’t understand why the management team can’t figure out how to schedule your staff so you don’t have to close for lunch.

Worst pharmacy. Past 3 prescription orders have gone from bad to worse. 8 days ago my 93 year old mother was prescribed pain medication. The doctor submitted order at 930 am. We were told it would not be ready until 630 pm. It was finally ready at 730 while we waited at the store. Sunday night I automatically refilled my moms medication for glaucoma and called ophthalmologist on Monday to make sure it would be refilled. When I went by on Tuesday at 4 pm to pick it up, it was still not ready. Waited 45 minutes at store. Yesterday at noon moms doctor called in order for syringes for her B 12 shots. I just now spent 25 minutes on hold and when I inquired as to status, was informed they didn’t have those syringes and did I want them to order them? When I asked as to why I wasn’t told yesterday they weren’t in stock, the response was “sorry.”

CVS on Anderson Hwy has major issues on having to get prescriptions. When you have to go out twice to pick up pain meds and then have to wait over an hour when they have had prescriptions for over an hour is ridiculous.I honestly don’t have a positive review of this pharmacy as their priorities should be to fill prescriptions if people waiting instead of those not waiting. The only nice thing was the young lady helping me was very professional and kept her cool. They have lost my business! I could have gone to Walgreens and been home relaxing at 8:00 pm

Absolutely the worst pharmacy. The last straw was when my daughter needed an antibiotic and they didn’t have it filled when I went in…told me to wait…then closed the store. I tried to get another store to fill it but because of the way they had it as “working on it” in the system the other store could not pull the script. This is only one of the many stories I have about how they have screwed up stuff for my family’s care.

If I could give zero star's I would. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever had to deal with. You call to get prescription refills and they say they'll have it ready that day but 3 calls and a week later I finally have my meds. Doesn't matter that I've been w/o my med for a week. That's just the beginning of my issues with them. I don't have enough hours in the day to list the complaints about this CVS. I would rather drive 20 minutes out of my way to pick up my prescriptions than to spend another 30 minutes in CVS drive thru.

The worst group of employees i’ve ever seen. Taylor (is what she told me her name is) is the worst worker I have seen. They are rude and have no work ethic. My dad was waiting on a perception for 5 days from them, and we went everyday and they had no care whatsoever for his well-being. Will never go here again.

Always clean and well organized. The pharmacists have been very helpful with my prescriptions. I use the Care Pass and Extra Care Bucks to greatly reduce prices.

Worse pharmacy in have never been to. Three prescriptions called in 5 hrs before arrival and still had to wait 20 minutes AND one was out of stock and one only had 3 pills available. This is unsatifactory! 👎👎👎

Have many issues. I had to switch due to insurance. I have been so positive because I read reviews and I could not believe any company could be so bad. But know I get it.

I love this CVS!They provide excellent service.To all who complain about the drive-thru, please save it for those who are sick, handicapped or cannot park the car & walk in for service. The staff is some of the nicest people you ever met!

I really hate to say or be negative about anyone or a business, but can anyone please share with me why it takes so long to get a prescription filled here? Are they short handed all the time? Do they need to hire more people? I really wish I was writing a positive review instead. I hope this helps to improve service and not get anyone in trouble.

When I call and attempt to reach the pharmacy, no one answers. Ever. The couple of times I have gone into the store, I found their prices to be extremely high. As a result, I neither shop nor have prescriptions filled here. I have my providers send prescriptions into the pharmacy located at the big box store in Powhatan or pharmacies in Midlothian, even though both are farther from my house. I literally drive past this CVS to go to other pharmacies as a result of the poor service and high prices.

The longest drive through wait. BUT, wait in the drive through if you have any requests or insurance issues, coupons to apply, any redo, because currently as it stands, the super tech at the drive through window will solve and correct all your issues at once when you reach the window and fill and give you your meds too. Dear CVS, the Drive Through in Powhatan is draining this CVS’s efficiency. The drive through needs to flow (that’s why it’s called a drive THROUGH). Patients that require additional assistance like insurance calls, personal requests etc, need to be asked to pull back around behind the line of cars, or wait 15 min then pull back around, to keep the line moving. Prioritize simple transactions at the drive through (drop offs/pickups)in order to clear the drive through waiting line. This new-ish CVS does not have the most competent of technicians and/or the Pharmacist on duty needs to be more observant of what’s going on at the drive through and stop the hold ups. If new behaviors are implemented regarding the drive through, people will start calling ahead because they know that the drive through is not going to resolve their issue immediately on the spot anymore. It ALL comes down to the DRIVE THROUGH at this store.The patients are abusing the drive through and CVS is essentially encouraging this behavior. Patients following their parts appropriately get frustrated and CVS techs can’t work as efficiently, majorly in part to this manner of handling the drive through.

They never answer the phone, it range for two hours with that stupid hold music. Everything is billed wrong, I was charger $200 for a prescription because they did not bill my insurance when my insurance covered that medication.

The pharmacy has always been knowledgeable and kind and taken the time to explain or walk me through anything I had questions on or needed to know. It’s quite a busy store and even when they are slammed with customers they seem to still be kind and helpful to all.

Plan on spending ALOT of time here. Been in drive thru to pick up meds ten minutes and line hasn’t moved at all. Do yourself a favor and get your meds somewhere else. This happens every time

The pharmacist running the drive thru had a 10 minute conversation with the person in front of me this morning the car behind me left .I had to call her and tell her to wrap it up so I could get out of there.I can't believe this is literally the only choice of a pharmacy in Powhatan.

Very rude woman that works in pharmacy with black hair. She acted very irritated that I was there for a flu shot. 0 customer service and was very short with me.
