This was our first time using this kennel. It went well, and our dog came home healthy. Those are the most important things. The cost was reasonable. There are limited times for drop-off and pickup, so we did an extra day before and after our trip, but that was okay. Our dog was nervous and began drooling excessively, which I did not expect.

We are so happy we found this dog care place. My dogs had a great time. They came home dresses and ready to party. Love that they have extra amenities. I feel like they treated my dogs like family. We will be using them for our dog sitting needs from now on!

GOOD people running this company. The kennel sits on the property that their house is on. Locally owned and operated. I got the feeling that they've been doing this a long time. Our dog seemed to enjoy the overnight stay.

Wonderful place for our dogs! We have 2 big dogs and it's never been a problem. I like that they can be together during their stay. The staff is always amazing and we know that the dogs are being cared for and loved! It's always a relief to bring our dogs over there knowing that they are in good hands. Bronco is usually anxious and he has never showed any signs either before or after! Thank you :)

This is our go to place for day camp. It’s family owned and local. They do really fun events and are just phenomenal to work with. They do not have any online reservations but they will call back when you leave a message.

I started using CB&B nearly two years ago and this place is GREAT! I don't take boarding my four legged lovers lightly and spent many many hours researching Richmond area boarding facilities, their reviews on multiple sites, and their business websites - I felt most comfortable with this business and boy am I glad I did!We are always received wonderfully, my dogs are always happy when I pick them. They are always incredibly healthy (both physically and mentally) when they are dropped off and upon return. Upon my older dog's spa day, they sent me the most amazing pictures of him completely relaxed and clearly feeling pampered! You can tell they love animals (one occasion I picked them up and there was a bark-mitzvah happening for one of the boarded dogs!).They are always friendly and accommodating... For me, it is worth the 40 minute drive to know that my babies are being so well taken care of; I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else in the Richmond area. If you are looking for a place to entrust your pets with, hands down 100% go with Countryside Bed & Biscuit. I can't sing their praises enough!

My dog was in another doggy daycare that doesn't allow any group play. I took him here to allow him the ability to play and socialize with other dogs. He had a blast and came home all tuckered out. The bandana they put on him was cute. He loved the goody bag of treats they gave him to take home. They really seem to make sure your dog is only grouped with others who have similar behaviour. He can't wait for his next visit.

I have never boarded my dogs as, frankly, I don't like leaving them with strangers. A situation came up where I had no choice. My boss recommended Countryside. They were absolutely wonderful and treated my dog like he was a member of the family. I highly recommend them!

Love the B&B. We have brought several dogs here thru the years and have always been pleased with their care. Just took Lily, my maltipoo there in April. She was 14 at the time and all was great. She needs a place she can go in and out of herself to doher usiness

What a wonderful place to board our dogs! The people are so kind, and obviously love taking care of our four-legged family members. We like to get the dogs nails clipped on the last day before we pick them up and they always do a great job. It's so cute how they send them home with a little doggie bag of treats! They have great options for playtime, nature walks and human interaction while you're away from your pets. Reasonably priced and nice facility. Highly recommend.

Though this kennel is 40 minutes out of the way and a bit more expensive than others in our area, we find it well worth it come here, due to the impeccable service and the fact that our dog leaves happy! At other kennels, she would cower and shy away from the handlers that take her back, and it was always a sad venture to take her there, even if it was only for a weekend. It just didn't feel right. Here, it feels safe. She actually likes and greets the staff members. I can trust that Harley will enjoy her vacation just as much as we will enjoy our own. Everyone who works at the establishment genuinely cares for the animals, and I love the variety of activities they offer the animals! We reccomend them to everyone we know.

This is the place I’ve been looking for! After living in the Richmond area for 3.5 years and boarding my dog at quite a few different places (including a couple of the pricier ones), I am so glad to have found Countryside Bed & Biscuit! Our Aussiedoodle has a TON of energy and he came home happy and tired from all of the playtime, walks, and hikes! He was also clean and smelled great since they gave him a bath on his last day. Even though it was my first time leaving a dog there, they knew who I was as soon as I came in for pickup, had all of our stuff ready to go, AND sent us home with a bag of treats! All of this at such a reasonable price - it can’t be beat! Safe to say we’ll be headed to Countryside Bed & Biscuit anytime we need to board our dog!

This is by far the very best boarding facility that one could ever hope to find. We have used them for close to 2 decades. At one period in our Pet years, we had to bring everybody in 2 vehicles! Emily is especially kind & loving to my only dog, Delilah, and she knows my cats habits, their likes & dislikes. I would rather not go anywhere if I could not leave my babies at the Bed & Biscuit and The Catnip Inn. There is none better to be found! They treat my Delilah like she was theirs- they spoil her rotten! And that is exactly the was we like it!
